[Goblin Lair]

The day was ending, and the moon was starting to appear in the sky

Even though that this was a beautiful sunset scenery, a scream can be heard in the dept of the forest or more likely inside a cave that is not coming from a human but coming from an orc which is being tortured to death with a stone sword being turned circularly like a key

"Bugih!!!! Bugih!!! Bugiiiihhh!!!" Screamed the orc

"Hahahaha! Ehehehehehe! Scream you damn pig! Scream" yelled Kaido as he twisted the sword that was impaled in the orc's body coiling it's insides

"Bugiiiiihhhh!--------" cried the orc as it lets out it's voice before it died

Noticing that the orc died just like that, Kaido stood up and wiped the blood in his hands

"So much for being an orc" he muttered

[Level up!]

As he finished his business with the orc, Kaido approached the half-dead human females that were likely have been violated for a week or 2 now

As he approached them he touched the shoulders of the females and was a bit shocked in what he found

"So you guys are still alive! Not only that you bunch are also pregnant maybe from the orc or goblins offsprings" he said

As he mentioned this the females twitched a little while looking at him with dead eyes

After coming up with a conclusion Kaido asked them

"It's too late for you guys already if your in that state of mind so I'll make you choose...... Live your life burdened by your past or Die!"

The moment Kaido asks them they pleaded to him

"Please kill me!"

"They took everything from us"

"Just kill us! We can't take it anymore"

As they said this while mustering their words inspite of being in pain and suffering they still delivered the message to him

"I see...." Pondered Kaido

"Then I hope you have a happy next life"

As he said this Kaido killed the females that were violated by the monsters by making tiny stone bullets and firing them at their heads

"Thank.......you" said one of the dying females as she breath her last

As he finished his business here, he walked straight outside the cave

[Outside the cave]

While Rebecca just finished making a bonfire and somehow comforting the female adventurers and commoners she saw Kaido walking slowly as he exited the cave

When she approached him she asked

"So? Are there any more survivors inside?"

As she said this Kaido looked at her and replied

"It's already too late for them, they're minds are already broken and their at death's door"

Hearing his reply Rebecca just kept silent for a moment and headed for the other girls

When the females saw Kaido they immediately stood up and thanked him for saving them while kaido himself just looked at them with expressionless face

After some time pass by and they have settled themselves Kaido asked Rebecca

"By the way! Why are you following me? were not even a party and I tend to work alone"

"Eh?! I thought we were already a party" she complained

"That's just your own assumption" Kaido replied

"Well it because my last party betrayed me and my friend resulting to my friend dying and I feel much more safer with you" she answered

"Safer? Woman I'm the opposite of what you call safe..." Kaido insist

"I have a name you know! It's Re-be-cca! Rebecca!" She complained

"I don't care!" Replied Kaido

"Muh! By the way won't you changed your shirt? Your stained in blood!" Complained Rebecca

"Alright! With what? Huh?" Snarled Kaido

"Muh!" Pouted Rebecca

"By the way why can't we just travel during the night?" Asked Kaido

But instead of Rebecca answered him another female took her place and answered instead

"It's because the creatures of the night are dangerous to begin with"

"Well thanks for the explanation but who are you?" Wondered Kaido as he stared at the woman who answered

"Oh I'm sorry I haven't Introduced myself yet to our savior, My names Agatha"

"Hmm! A complete ordinary civilian" muttered Kaido

"So Agatha what do you mean when you said creatures of the night?"asks Kaido

"Oh that is monsters that are far more stronger than monsters during the day" answered Agatha

"Oh yeah? What kind" asks Kaido

"Oh you know vampires, werewolves, undead and such.... There are many kind of Creatures" answered Agatha

"Hoh! Now those monsters caught my attention" said Kaido while grinning

"You know what your really living a dangerous life" complained rebecca

"My life is just like that" said Kaido

As the night grow deeper Kaido was resting at one of the branch of a tree, when Rebecca suddenly talked to him

"Hey Kaido you awake? she asked

"Well I am now... So what do you want?" He asked

" Do you remember what I told you yesterday afternoon?" She asked hesitatingly

"Well yeah it's the conversation that somewhat annoyed me.... So what about it?" Kaido pondered

"Well when a think about it somehow I regret yelling at you cause when I look at your expression back then it tells me that you have experienced in your past that made you say those things and I just reminded you of your bitter past" she explained

"Is that it?" He asked

"No what I really want to do is apologize so I'm sorry" she insisted

"Well I don't mind" he replied

"Hehe your reply is as cold as ever" complained Rebecca

"That is just who I am" answered Kaido as he lamented on something

Then out of nowhere Kaido felt an itchy feeling that kept bothering him and stared at the forest

Seeing Kaido suddenly became alerted Rebecca immediately guessed that something's coming... So she woke up the females and gathered them on one spot

When the moon appeared they saw 20 night wolves surrounding them

" So are these....." Pondered Kaido

"Yes they are creatures of the night" replied Agatha

"I see no wonder they're stronger than the orc"
