"Woah.."
"What a majestic scene right! Ryan?"
"Hahaha, you're quite enthusiastic aren't you Arci?"
"Yes of course! It has been sooooooo long since i saw what the ground above looked like! To think that this
former wasteland became this beauty of nature for the past hundreds of thousands of years is amazing!
And to think that i could also take a stroll in it with a living human being makes me so happy!"
I smiled at Arci after he said that, and then turned my gaze to the scene infront of me. We were currently taking a stroll down the hill. There were grass and flowers everywhere, making for a gentle, verdant and vibrant view. The mild breeze that come and go bring the sweet, grassy scent of the grass and flowers.
The sun was not hot nor stinging, it was mild and gentle. The rays coming out of it were making the field
even more vibrant, as the light shines down on the flowery, grassy field.
If someone told me that this was a world heritage site, i wouldn't have asked and simply thought of it as the truth.
We kept strolling down until we reached the foot of the hill. I could see very clear water. It seems like we've reached the lake.
"Hoooo..."
The scenery that was infront of me took my breath. I was at the shore of the lake, at awe over the magnificent view in front of me. The clean and pure water of the wide lake mirrored the skies and clouds above. It was an ethereal scene, i thought i was at one of those salt lakes i saw back on my memories...
Simply beautiful. Its been view after view after view ever since i came out of that underground base.
Maybe i should live here or something.
"Simply magnifecent! The views here are splendidly gorgeous! "
"I know right... Ah look, theres a tree over there. Lets get underneath the shade"

Me and Arci went over to the shade caused by the um... What was this tree called again? Hmm i forgot... But this tree had drooping branches and elongated leaves. Being underneath it felt very cool, as the
branches and leaves protect us from the rays of the sun.
(To think that this beautiful place was a wasteland over 900000 thousand years ago...)
I sit down, resting my back at the tree. I took some thoughts on what me and Arci should do next.
(Hmm... Should we make contact with the natives that live here? No, i wont understand them at all...
What should i do then? Should i just ask Arci?)
"Oi Arci, what do you think should we do from now on?"
"Ah. Hmm... Perhaps we should explore this area?"
"Do you think we should meet up with the humans here?"
"I wont recommend that, i have not studied their language. Who knows what they would do to us
seeing that we do not know their language..."
"I see... Lets just rest over here for a bit."
"Understood, i will keep watch then."
When Arci said that, i was suddenly assaulted by a sense of drowsiness. My eyes closed and i fell into
a deep sleep.
"Hmm, guess he was that tired..."
...
"Ryan, wake up! Its already midnight, take a look at this!"
(Mmmnnhh... ...It's already midnight?)
By the darkness and glimmering shine that im seeing, it seems like it was already midnight... Guess i must have been really tired from all that running i did. I guess it makes sense since i was tired even when i got out of that capsule... Wait, glimmering shine?)
As i opened my groggy eyes, what awaited me was a tranquil scene of two moons, opposite of each other.
(Woah... Holy shit, that is really amazing.)
The wide lake was functioning as a mirror for the starry night skies above. I could see the river of heaven being reflected by the lake, shining its brilliant lights above back to the realm of stars. It was a scene of tranquility, peace, and harmony. The shining and flickering stars being reflected by the water below, creating for a majestic view you can only see in pictures.

"So beautiful... So this is what it looks like in midnight..."
My breath was taken upon the heavenly sight that was infront of me. As the tree i was seeing it from had a small hill, it created just the right elevation for me to see the entire lake.
"I know! I woke you up just at the right time, the moons are still vertically opposite of each other... It seems like we got lucky with the lunar cycle."
"Mhm. And now you are going to explain why you are in this place, or i'll have to put you down." The voice of a young boy resounded.
"!!!"
Me and Arci quickly turned to where the sound came from. Behind us, a young boy in light armor and 3 men
that look like knights were staring at us. The men behind the young boy glared at us with seemingly hostile
eyes, while the young boy infront of them were staring at us as if we were new toys.
The young boy smiled.
"Care to explain why you have violated the sanctity of this Sacred Land?"
"H-huh? Sacred Land?"
"Dont pretend to be stupid. What is it with you Eye of Truth jockeys again? Are you all planning to detonate
the entirety of Kathen'Ria again? Just to see whether that rumor of an Unknown Empire ruin being here was true or false?" The young boy said with a somewhat mix of a light tune and a pressing voice.
"Huh? Wait wait wait, im not here to blow up anything! And also Eye of Truth? I have never heard of them before!"
"Dont lie. That drone thats beside you proves your from that organization. Only those insane and crazy bastards can control those weird things.
Come along now, unless you dont want to be chopped into pieces..."
"How dare you! Ryan is not a bastard! And why would we blow this beautiful view infront of us! It would be such a waste!"
"Oh my, this is new... I never thought these tincans could talk like that. Must be a rare cas- ...Hm? Your saying you cant understand his words?"
One of the men in armor whispered some words to the young boy.
"Hmm... Were your superiors thinking that if you cannot communicate with other people, interrogation would be useless? Yeah right, it would've been... But not if i were here. Seems like you are quite unlucky
this time, Eye of Truth underling."
"W-what? I dont understand what your saying... Im not part of this Eye of Truth thing or whatever, and im not here to destroy this lake!"
"Oh. I just realized, it will be much more easier to interrogate you in jail. Well, have a nice sleep, dude."
Right after he said those words my conciousness blacked out.
"Oh my... It seems like i made a slip of the tongue."
"You! How dare you assault Ryan! What do you think you are doing!"
"Oh, and your next. Strange smooth-talking tin can."
"Wha-"
I quickly slashed the weird flying drone with the blunt part of my blade, quickly disabling it.
(Hmm... This one is a model that hasnt been seen before. Interesting. Is that why it could talk
so smoothly, unlike the robotic voices the usual models have? Interesting.)
"Quickly take these two away to the fort."
"Yes sir, should we report this matter to the Viscount?"
"Yes go ahead, just report it as another Eye of Truth sabotage attempt."
"Affirmate. Men, lets move out!"
I took a look at the dual moons before me. Truly a breathtaking view. What an interesting world i have
found myself on.
(That was more easier than i thought... That man didnt even attempt to fight back with magic.
Ah well, i'll see how it goes.)

The Ascendant: Endless Reincarnation
My name is Richard Brooks. I died while saving a kid. Kicking the bucket at 28 was really depressing, you know? There’s so much I still wanted to do. But I won’t complain. Even when it’s dangerous and painful, I love life. This is all an opportunity; I’ll do my best, no matter what kind of sadistic fate the System throws at me. I will swing the warhammer of justice! Craft and enhance the most amazing artifacts! Overwhelm opponents with a barrage of auto-casting spells! Lead powerful vassals in Domain wars! All for the sake of creating an eternal sanctuary. With my unique power of Runecrafting, maybe I’ll even become strong enough one day to overturn fate… or at least find out what the hell is really going on. It might take a few hundred or a thousand lifetimes, but what’s the rush? I have all the time in the world now. (Note: R15+ This is the work of a very inexperienced author with a full time job. Even today, with all the advances of science, a wound like that can easily be mortal. Most likely would be. I gasped for air with a snarl, funneling the wind into my lungs to help them expand after being pancaked into the wall. Nobody f***ing backstabs me and gets away with it. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love being alive. I love it more than anything else. It’s something only a dead person can understand, and I feel myself forgetting all the time. But there’s a secret to death, and I keep it with me. Always.
