Chapter Ten - Thoth Advanced Academy part 7

Margot hardly slept that night. One round, two rounds, three rounds.

It felt endless.

"It finally happened," Margot softly whispered to herself as she stared at Lucky's handsome face. She couldn't help but feel like a woman. The eye of Horus appeared on Lucky's forehead as he followed Margot until she escaped the range of his perception. Lucky sighed and stared up at the dark sky, as an auburn tint slowly crept in. At this point, this part of the city seemed to be a completely different world.

"Time… is so abstract. I feel that time is one of the most impressive laws that exist," Lucky Riot spoke to himself in low tones. In the last 24 hours, Lucky's life had changed in epic ways.

First, Scarlet Mercury tried to cripple him during her class. Thanks to that heavy attack, Lucky somehow witnessed a vision of his future demise, orchestrated by his future self, Shreya Endless. Lucky couldn't help but feel that the event he witnessed was hundreds of years in the future. After that, Lucky challenged the teacher's authority and made a bet that he would beat Renzo Frenzy's famous assessment record.

After shattering that same record and setting a new and totally undefeatable record in its place, Lucky was recognized by the entire school as a genius disciple and the Principal's direct student! Of course, Lucky knew a secret about the Principal that no one else knew about. Once he finished the assessment, the deans brought Lucky and Margot to the Advanced Academy in the hidden Central Sector of Nibiru City. Lucky refused to bow to anyone but his parents in this life, he would shine so brightly that the stars themselves try to hunt him down.

"This is real life. No one will give the hero time to grow like in the books. In that case, do I even need to play the hero? I'll take what I need, and fight for my growth," Lucky Riot felt like that dream about Shreya Endless had affected him more than he originally thought. He also realized he didn't see the truth of what happened on that day. He had only seen what his future self had shown him. In that case, would he one day be able to decipher more of that timeline's truth? "Time… I need to learn more about the power of time. They'll have to kill to me stop me, but destiny will not let me die so easily. What I need the most now is time, but time is something they will never give me. I need to create it on my own!"
