Lord and behold the old man who opens the door. Elder Jessie opens the door in a light blue shirt with yellow palm trees and wearing bright blue shorts. This old black man, I have never seen without his black cloak, is now looking like he is going to the beach. Looking at him now. He doesn’t look like the menacing old man; he is used to looking. The moment Elder Jessie sees me, his eyes shrink. He goes from looking happy, to being piss off. He glares at me and asks, “What do you want, boy?” Looking the elder out of uniform puts a smirk on my face. I quickly change my expression, but Elder Jessie sees it. He slams the door in my face and yells though the door. “Sit tight, boy!” This is the funniest thing that has ever happened. I wish I brought my phone and was recording this. I will tell Erica what is happening. With this information, I can get her to owe me a favor. I had to wait a few minutes before Elder Jessie came back. He opens the door with his cloak on looking like he wants to kill me. He stares at me hard before asking once again, “What do you want, boy!? Coming here it better be important or else.” I sigh, I didn’t want to deal with this crap. Waking up getting beat up by a spider, all of my classmates are joking around and not training, but the worst thing I will ask him for help. I wish Elder Kyle was here instead. Well, let’s get this over with. “Sir, I need the elders help in controlling the school. The kids have to refuse to keep training and have been playing around. They don’t see the urgency of our situation.” The elder laughs. “Even after your little display, you can’t get children to follow you. When I was your age, the school bowed down to my will. I didn’t need to fight the entire school. The children at the school were just scared of my name. And I didn’t have half of your strength. This is too funny. I bet it was because of how your adopted parents raise you.” That is when Elder Kyle shows up at the door. He was also out of uniform wearing a wife beater and a pair of jeans. Elder Jessie knows how to push my buttons, and if it wasn’t for Elder Kyle showing up, I might have exploded. Before I could answer Elder Jessie points to me and answer. “The brat needs our help to get these children in line. Isn’t it funny? We didn’t have this problem at his age.” Elder Kyle sighs and pats me on top of the head and says, “You had it rough, huh. It is ok we are here to help anyway we can.” Elder Kyle walks up to Elder Jessie and whispers something in his ear. This cause Elder Jessie to smile. The Elder looks at me and says, "Your adopted parents will make a deal with the fairy users. They will attempt a deal with the people who killed your parents and try to kill you. How does this make you feel? The elders here wants them under our foot how about you?” I was taken back by this information. What should I do? The spider on top of my head drop to my eyes and says, “Sounds like good people. You guys have been the aggressors this whole time. They couldn’t let someone like you being born. Most of them are already slaves and now you come along. A person strong enough to destroy the entire rebellion.” Stupid spider why should I care about that. It was my life that they destroyed. They are savages. Not only did they kill themselves but they also killed other people and tried to kill a baby. This shouldn’t go unpunished I need to know who my parents want to negotiate with these monsters. I look at the elder and say, “I don’t agree with my parents. But I have to say this Elder Jessie, they were the ones who took care of my. Stop trying to disrespect them. They are way better Jeonhlyeong than you will ever be. Wait, I think I would put you lower than the fairy users. At least they fight for what they think is right. All you do is hide out here waiting for me to do your dirty work for you.” He picks me up and throws me against the wall. “Boy! Do I have to remind you I was the one who saved your life? Not only that, but for 8 years of your bratty life. I was the one who raised you. Yet, you give me that rebellious look in your eye. If you would have to listen to me and carry my name, you wouldn’t be here begging for help. These children would bow at your feet instead you want to take after that stupid family. Instead of using their gifts to become powerful, they rather help people. They aren’t warriors and look at you now. Look at the girl that is being raised beside you. Both of you are the strongest children in the history of this school, maybe the history of the Jeonhlyeong. Yet, one runs away from power and the other doesn’t know how properly to use it. I blame your stupid adopted parents. I shouldn’t have left you out of my sight. I thought being raised by someone else beside me that didn’t have the hatred of our enemies. Would have you running back to my arms but no look at you. You will defend the people who want to negotiate with your parents' murders. You are nothing but a weak brat. You are soft like nothing I have seen before. Let me tell you a little secret boy. The reason no one is doing what you ask is because they can feel your emotions. You are a kind young boy. Revenge, I doubt you have it in you. I should send you home right now. To those peace loves where you belong.” The world around me spins. I am nice? I don’t have revenge boiling inside of me? I will show him. I can hear Elder Kyle running towards me and Elder Jessie backs up with a grim look on his face. If they think I am soft, I will show them. This is the power I have been developing for years. I will kill Elder Jessie here and now. That will show everyone in this school who is the boss. Wait me being soft doesn’t matter. He dared to dog my parents. No, this is his final time. This is his final breath. He would never dare to say those words again. Noone talks bad about my parents and live. Just as I was about to unleash my power, the world turns dark.

Keys of the Endpoint
Keys of the Endpoint is an illustrated web serial about the re-birth of civilization in a fantastical world suffering from a recent apocalyptic event. Every day, people appear from the storms that ravage the Endpoint. Whisked away from their own time and place by storms in their homelands, these newcomers find themselves in a hostile place made up of ruins and people from every timeline imaginable. Stranger still, they all soon discover they're carrying silver keys that grant each holder incredible powers. On Earth, most people have mundane excuses for the disappearances, but not Isaac. Having lost his brother Finn to one of these storms, Isaac becomes obsessed with finding a pattern. Not to prevent more people disappearing, but rather to get taken by the storms himself in order to find his brother. While chasing Finn’s faint trail, Isaac soon discovers how little he really knew about himself, his brother and how much loss one person can take. In Keys of the Endpoint there's portal fantasy, personal drama, magic (useable by everyone), plenty of combat, power progression, mysteries, factions, feuds and eventually war (in that order). The magic system is well defined and modular with nigh infinite combinations. The story starts out with one of the two main characters looking for his lost brother but quickly expands in scope from that point on. Two Sides
Heroes and monsters are the staples of fantasy. Swords and magic, fairies and dragons, adventures and death; all things went hand in hand in some worlds not our own. Elaine Dawn grew up listening to those stories as a child, imagining, aspiring, yet as she grew she slowly lost her dreams and became detached from what the world could be, slowly becoming one with the world that was. Yet one night she found herself in a dream that became reality, and oh there they were; heroes and monsters, swords of steel, magic of tales, fairies and dragons of old, and adventures that held riches and death both. She had no fantastic magic, no supernatural strength. All she had was herself, her coin, and her life. But that was enough. As she stared into the distance, to the mountain-sized horrors of the night, she smiled and tossed her coin once again.
