《Shadow’s World》Part 61 Dragons

Wendenlin POV
I have been 2 years since we have met the shadow. At first, the time on this ship has been hard work. The training Rex put me through was enough for me wanting to die. Yet, after a few months, it got fun. Each time my body got hurt I stop feeling pain. It was weird instead of pain I felt pleasure. I know old people hate getting hurt as much as young but I instead love it. I had to ask Rex if she like pain and she said no. So, it made me feel even weird but that doesn’t matter. My fairy evolves twice. It went from a goblin to an Ogre. It was such a happy sight at first but then I had to ask the question of why I couldn’t get a cute fairy. The goblin was bigger and means then the other goblins I have seen with others of my kind and the Ogre was a huge monster.
I have to ask the dragons why my fairies aren’t cute. It was almost time for our meeting with the dragons. I was in Hercules studio stretching my body. I have gotten into a routine and it was very hard to break it. I know I was told by Rex yesterday to stay in my room and rest but I couldn’t. I am too excited to meet the dragons once again. Oh, yes also my little brother. I haven’t thought about him for two years. Well, he has been with Emily so I don’t have anything to worry about. My fairy is beside me looking big and mean. Why can’t I get a cute fairy? I finish stretching when I feel a soft paw on my back. I turn around and it is Isis standing behind me. I jump on her back.

We teleport right in front of the dragons, the black dragon is playing chess. The white dragon is flying around and poking the black dragon. I cannot believe my eyes once again. The strongest fairies I know keep acting like children when I am around them. I shake my head. Footsteps are coming from behind me. I turn around and see my little brother walking with a book in his hand and another hand holding Emily’s hand. Oh is that so sweet? She is acting like my little brother’s mother. I hope she is a better person than our real mother.
On my brother’s head, there is a mermaid. She is a cute little girl reading on his head. I look back at my Ogre, who is staring menacingly at the dragons. The little mermaid waves her cute little arm. Ohh, I want to touch her and pet her. Why can’t I get a cute little fairy like that? My Ogre is bigger than me and looks like it has gone through war.
“sister, sister.” My brother runs up to me and gives me a big huge. “You have grown little brother. What book are you holding?” He pulls away and says, “This is an advanced physics book. From where Emily is from people from the ages of 18 older would usually learn from this book but I am able to understand it now. She says I am super smart.” I pat my little brother on the head. We good thing he learns stuff like that. Oh man, I didn’t learn anything besides train my body and learn how to dance. I turn my face and look at Isis. She puts her paw over her head. It seems she forgot to teach me this crap as well. Oh well, I hear a snap.

My brother turns his head looking in the direction of the noise. I quickly touch his fairy while he isn’t looking. She was wet and soft. I really want to capture her and make her into my fairy. Well, it isn’t like it will become mines so let’s ignore that idea. I turn to see the shadow and his two new found friends with him. I walk back to Isis and ask, “Are you going to tell the shadow to stop destroying you? Every other month they cause explosions that rung throughout the entire ship.” Isis responses “Do not worry about it. It didn’t cause any lasting harm and the shadow is the one is owns this ship. I just fly it and do his bidding. Let it go.” I sigh and watch the dragons fly up to the shadow. They sit in front of him. The shadow turns towards me. He calls me out and says, “Hey, we are getting ready to start you are a part of this. Come over here so we can get started.” I roll my eyes and walk right behind the shadow.
“So dragons are they fit enough and happy enough for you to start training them? Or should we wait 100 years before you guys decide to train them?” The shadow complains to the dragons. The white dragon swipes him with his tail, the shadow goes flying through the air. “Stop crying and let us look at the younglings.” The black dragon says as the shadow flies over him. “Come children let us have a good look at you.” The black dragon says with a smile. We walk close to the dragons and the white one grabs me and the black one grabs my little brother. The white dragon pats me on my head and looks at my fairy. “You have grown well little one. You show the fire of the light side. Look at you all muscle and no brains not only that but your fairy is awesome. It is way stronger than an old Orge of this level. With my training you, you will never lose a fight.” Shadow kicks the white dragon in the back. “Not uh, she doesn’t have the potential of the strongest Jeoglyeong on the planet.” The white dragon starts to laugh. “Those weaklings cannot beat a true fairy master. You know better than anyone how much stronger us fairies are compared to those losers.” The shadow shakes his head. “this one takes after me and there isn’t a fairy stronger than me now is there?”
The black dragon starts to laugh. “Yes, that is correct but there is a fairy that is your match. This boy might not be a fighter but he also has great potential. The darkness will always win in the end.”

The Cage
Mighty abominations and their more powerful gods dance between the galaxies in eternal migration, exploring, experimenting and playing. They leave destruction in their wake, heedless of the suffering of the sapients they slaughter, alter or drive to extinction as they toy with entire star systems for passing amusement. These monsters are called mankind. They are finally betrayed and defeated, but they cannot be killed. They are diminished and stripped of all memory of what they were, locked in a bottle reality on a false world called Earth. For thousands of years, mingled shards of their Broken Gods continue to chance across the cage that holds the species of their birth. The shards merge with suitable hosts to create empowered archetypes who awaken to supernatural Gifts and fractured dreams of a lost history. The greatest among them are magnificent heroes and villains: The Vigilante. The Mastermind. The Assassin. The Polymath. This is the story of their inferiors: The Beggar. The Homewrecker. The Gambler. The Henchman. The Miser. The Monster. Together, they will attempt to save the world, free humankind and escape the Cage. This will probably end really badly. *Cover art taken from internet source of free-use, uncopyrighted photos and images.

(un)Lucky
After dying on his hospital bed, Jack is surprised to once again regain consciousness. Turns out he’s in purgatory where he learns that God has been pretty into gaming lately… you already know where this is going, don’t you? Yeah, yeah, I know, another LitRPG story like many others. SO original… But why then do we keep reading them and looking for more? The answer, for me at least, is because they’re usually just plain fun. That’s all I hope my story can be: fun. No fixed releases for now, nor any future plans. I’m just trying to enjoy my time writing it. Btw, the cover is something random I did and has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Don’t ask me why.

[Heads up, it's going to be a slow burn, and will take a while for the story to really get going.]
