"Mommy?" says the baby dragon while she stares at me.

From the voice it's a girl, I'm sure.

"Sorry uh... but I'm not your Mommy"(GobiLeo)

"Then are you my Daddy?"(Baby Dragon)

What should I say…

As far as I remember that huge dragon, kinda entrusted me with this child... A child almost the same size as me...

I'll just go with it, I also do feel bad about this child losing her mother right after she's born. It wasn't the worst idea ever, being the adopted father of a dragon? Right. It's even kinda cool when I think about it. Totally.

"Well you could say that...."(GobiLeo)

"Daddy!" says the Baby Dragon as she jumps on me.

"Eheheh you're heavy"(GobiLeo)

"Sorry Daddy, by the way Daddy where's Mommy?"(Baby Dragon)

I pause for a second, I don't really know what to say. Also how is a new born able to talk already?

Oh yeah, because it is a dragon! I kinda forgot that. Let's just give her a suitable answer for now.

"You're Mommy is somewhere, up there (I point my finger in the sky), watching over you." I tell her with a smile.

"Really? When am I going to see her?"(Baby Dragon)

Damn it, this is really difficult, I wasn't prepared for this... Let's change the subject.

"I don't know... Hey stop asking so many questions, here have some food" I say passing obver a cooked rabbit meat.

She swallows it whole...

"Yum yum! Daddy, I want another one!"(baby dragon)

"Sure, have some more."(GobiLeo)

I pass her another rabbit.

"Boss, is she your daughter?"(GobiGora)

Of course this bloody idiot doesn't know what's going on...

"Yes, she is my daughter, so you must protect her"(GobiLeo)

"Then that huge dragon before was your wife?"(GobiGora)

Damn, if all the goblins are as dumb as this guy, I might as well quit being their hero.........

"Come over here Gora."(GobiLeo)

"Ok boss" Says Gora as he walk towards me.

"From now on she's my daughter, the details doesn't really matter, so don't worry about it too much and do not mention her mother to her okay?"(I whispered)

"Boss I think she needs a name."(GobiGora)

Oh right, I need to name her....

A name... A female name... A female dragon name... What would be a badass name for her...

A sat down and explore my memory of my past life, I have read bunch of stories, from novels to manga, fantasy movies and anime... Let's see...

I could name her Akane in Japanese meaning Red, but I'm not really Japanese though I do enjoy Japanese culture and also I don't think it is suitable in this era... Ah I know a good one!

The baby dragon is still eating, then I stand up and move close to her and caress her head...

"Ceara"(GobiLeo)

"Ceara?"(Ceara/baby dragon)

"Yes that is your name"(Gobileo with a smile)

"Ceara... I like it daddy! Ehehe"(Ceara)

Ceara from one of the books that I read meaning "bright red" I imagine a bright red of flames as she burn enemies when she grows up. Also it symbolizes her reddish colour.

Hehehe I think that’s a cool name.

We finish our dinner then GobiGora and I take all the equipment that dropped from the dragon when she died.

Most of the arrows are all bend and worn out, so I decided to only take the arrow heads then we hide all of it inside the storage area in the cave. We go to sleep, GobiGora sleeps close to the entrance, I order him to wake me up if something unusual happens. While I sleep in my usual place, Ceara sleep right beside me...

The next morning.......

Huh?

A human child? About the age of 3 or 4, Wait...Red hair, red eyes, two small horns, two small fangs, and two cute little wings...

"Ceara?!"(GobiLeo)

"What is it daddy. I still want to sleep"(Ceara while her eyes are still close)

"Why do you look like that?"(GobiLeo)

"I'm not sure, I remember I wanted to use you as pillow but I am too big, so I started wishing to become small, I imagine it, then I just became like this... Don't you like it daddy?"(Ceara)

"I do, like it."(I caress her head and smile)

So she can do that... Was it really normal for a dragon?

Well let's not think too much, I have a bunch of things to do.
