《The Isekai》Chapter 5: The academy Part 4

Today I went to the academy and I learnt new abilities. I learnt how to increase my speed and my strength with the spells. And I learnt that in this world the status is based on the work and in the money. Also, the teacher announced that the rank S class will be going on a trip to the beach next week, maybe Laura, Yura and Yunis will come. All of us were happy about that.
When the break time arrived, Alishia and I, went to the dining room. We sat and we started to talk about the trip, on how amazing it was going to be and what we were going to do there. I never saw the sea even in my last life, but I think that it's a good chance to see it now. After the bell's academy sound rang and we went back to the classes.
The classes finished and we were going to our home. On the way, I asked Alishia if her father could train me because he defeated him. She answered that she will ask him but she doesn't know if he can. When I arrived I told them about the school trip. Also, They were happy about that and they said that I was going to have a good time. I didn't know what that means but I suppose that we are going to play some games. After that they left the house, together, saying that they were going to a swimsuit shop.
The next day when the academy finished, Alishia told me that her father accepted to train me. Then we went to her house. And together, we left the city and we arrived at a field enough far from the city. In the field, we fought and I lost.
He said that I was strong and that my speed was enough for being thirteen years old. But my reflexes and my attack points were bad. He also said that I was predictable. After he asked who trained me and I told him that my mother, Ruliet Farfalles. He told me that he has been trained by her in the past, too. He told me that she was like a killing machine fighting in the war. Also, he said that she was the most fearless and sadistic person from the entire army of the kingdom. I can't imagine my mother being like that but it's true that she has never talked with me about her past. She said that I only need to know that she was a war princess.

After a short time talking, we fought again, this time I used my powers. And I hit him with the water spell but he put me on the ground again. He said that my magic powers needed to improve.
Then, he asked my magic affinity and I showed him the Hero ID Card:
Hero ID Card Name: Florium Tarsal Farfalles Magic Affinity: Darkness,Light,Earth,Fire,Water and Wind Rank: SS Work: Noble and adventurer Made in guild: Guild of Arus
He was even more surprised than before after I have shown him the Hero ID Card. Then, I asked him why I lost even if I'm a rank SS. And he responded:
"Hahahah boy. The rank is based on the magic affinity and on the quests that you complete. I think that since you know all of them you can be easily a Rank SS even if you haven't completed a lot of quests. Because it's strange to know all the magic. But this only means that you have the ability to learn all of them. The important thing is to know how to use the spells." Also, he told me that in the city exist someone that can teach me about spells, uses of the magic and things like that, and he gave me the address of a library in the city.
And by surprise he punched me, I was wondering why Then, he said that I need to be prepared for everything. And we fought again, I combined my spells. I increased my speed and my strength, how I learnt, and attacked him. All useless but at least I caught him and I hit him again. In the evening, he told me that this training session was enough for today and that if I wanted to train more he would be more grateful to train me.
I ended with a lot of pain and scars on my body but I was happy because this time the scars were a symbol of my effort and my training.I arrived home and they were asking who did that to me, they were angry and I think that they were ready to kill someone. I explained that I have been in a training lesson and they calmed. Laura said that I should be careful, Yura said that I didn't need to train that hard and Yunis only smiled.

Now your friendship is being torn asunder, he has turned eighteen and is being sent away to become a Judge Knight Aspirant. What is to become of you? Before your friend leaves, there is murder and conspiracy! Magic left the land hundreds of years ago, all you have is your bow and hunting skills, nevertheless you must fight to survive and save another to have any hope of a future! Note: The graphic isn't mine; it is a re-imagining of a few separate images, any objections by original artists let me know. N.B. If you are looking for Sexual Content every chapter, or every second, third or fourth chapter this isn't the story for you - the Sexual Content is required for a plot device, not a way of life and the later chapters reflect that - please stop dropping Low Ratings when you feel I haven't met your idea of "fan service". This is finished as much as a multi book vision can be finished. At 750,000 words give or take and very little readership I can only blame myself. I have learnt a lot, possibly forgotten a lot as well! I will probably return to the Chapters at some point - a touch up here and a touch up there. The second book though will probably remain in my head for a very long time, so yes "cliffs" although I hope the characters and their motivations are developed enough that you can have a good guess at the content of Book Two and tell me so I can confirm or deny! This isn't a LITRPG where classes are developed, great foes are defeated by a hero of immense power. This is a story based within (I hope) a very real and consistent culture, that leaves breadcrumbs for the reader to work out what the heck is happening and why. This is a slow burn story as the MC is stumbling around discovering her new place and role. Author's Note (Apr 2021): I dropped the Fantasy Genre for the Mystery Genre, because while the setting mentions magic, is it about past glories and trying to return to them. Whereas the MC from Chapter One doesn't understand her predicament and the range of mysteries she must solve to survive. If I have this wrong PM me and I will change this back.
