《The Isekai》Chapter 1: My death
Advertisement
I'm Kazu and I was fifteen years old. I was living with my father because my mother had died. After a short time, he started blaming me as the only reason for her death so he started punching me, breaking bottles of "sake" on my head, insulting me and making my life a living hell. Also, I got scars on my entire body and because of that in highschool, I was always alone so my highschool life wasn't any better. I was bullied and because of that, I couldn't make friends. The teachers rejected me when I needed help because the father of the bully, called Youko, was the headmaster. I thought I couldn't live like this anymore.
When I arrived home I got punched by him as usual and after everything that happened to me, I decided to run away when he was drunk and sleeping in the middle of the night. The first day I slept on the floor of the alley, I was already used to it because I slept on the floor when I was in my father's house. When the sun rose, I needed to find some water and food to endure the days. I found water easily but I had to compete for leftovers from a local sushi restaurant with rats and cats.
When I finally thought that I was free I saw my father at the police station. Maybe he was trying to find me, after that I got scared and I ran away. After three days the police found me and they did the worst thing that they could do, they sent me back to my father's house. When the police was gone, my father pushed me against the floor and started punching and kicking me, and after that I was coughing blood.
When I thought that it was finaly over, he took a knife from the kitchen and he started stabbing me with all his force. My blood was falling on the floor and my vision was turning black and blurry. Then, I fell in a black space and I started thinking that maybe all of that had happened to me was my fault and that I deserved to die, but I remembered that my mother had told me that I was a good and a strong boy before she died.

Suddenly I saw a bright light and I decided to go there, when I crossed it I got blinded for a moment and when I opened my eyes I saw two people talking to each other in a strange language and I discovered that I was a baby.
My first thoughts were that this life was my second chance to live better without any problems, bullies and someone who would try to kill me. I decided to be stronger in this life and never be a victim again.

Another world
For some, this old story would always be altered, but the outcome was always the same. 'The Evening Celebration.' Some blame humanity for provoking them, while others accuse monsters from another realm, and a few believed it was all merely the devil's fault. There is now a killer in the city. Attacking all the young ladies, pulling something from within them, and abandoning them on the doorsteps of their loved ones. Exactly similar to the old story. Will this issue ever be resolved, or will it be the start of something new? Ignoring the matter is also an option. Continuing with their everyday routine is generally a wise decision. That's just for the time being, of course. Till the plot leads them to someone they should have never encountered.
