hiA curtainless window let the first rays of light enter Adam's room, waking him up. He got up, put on his disguise and went down to eat the meal he had ordered the night before. There were a few citizens who were making casual conversation, one conversation piqued his interest.

"Man, today's finally arrived! I've been waiting for this day ever since last week!"

"I know, right? They're finally showing the weapons our geniuses made for Sir Mathias! I can't wait to see what they've made!"

One of the men checked the clock in the corner of the room and suddenly got agitated.

"Oh, I really have to go! I'll see you at the event later!"

Adam took the last bite from his meal and then promptly left the inn to go to his stand. After setting everything he didn't manage to sell the day before, he sat down then tried to eavesdrop on some conversations.

"Later at noon, we definitely have to go! I can't wait to see what he'll pick!"

"Yeah, yeah, just let me set up here for a bit."

"Father, can we go?"

"Of course we are! Let's get something to eat first!"

The bustling trading center was as lively as ever, despite it being early in the morning. People came and went, looking around his stock and some buying it. The majority of conversation has changed from the local happenings in the Kingdom of Ores to the sole event later at noon.

Adam debated whether it was worth his time going to this showcase but in the end decided against it. Something this insignificant wasn't worth his time, he still had to find some info on the Kingdom of Luxury, the next kingdom was going to.

It slowly approached noon and with that came fewer and fewer customers along his way. At the peak of sunrise, there was nearly no one going around the streets.

Adam decided it was time to take a more active role and came to other stands eying some luxurious-looking materials that would've seemed to come from the Kingdom of Luxury. After looking around for a bit, he saw some comfort items and made some conversation with the shopkeeper.

"Good items, you have there."

"Hmph! Of course, they are! They came from the very kingdom of pure quality! The one and the only Kingdom of Luxury! Interested in buying?"

Adam looked around for a few items and bought some soap and shampoo, a few more items related to hygiene and feminine items.

"Err, quite deep pockets you have. Your...uh..."

"Daughters."

"What lucky daughters you have!"

Adam ignored the flattery and continued on

"Say, do you have any news regarding the Kingdom of Luxury? I was planning to go there for a trip with my family."

"Any news? No, nothing comes to mind. Just the monthly celebration as always, something I ensure your family will enjoy! Though there have been some criminals running rampant there, so do be careful. Just stay on the main road and you'll be fine."

Adam paid for these items and waved the merchant goodbye, "Thanks."

After that Adam went on to a few more stores and made some more conversation getting some info on the Kingdom of Luxury. There were quite a few notable events coming up in a few days but it was the usual events where people go to have fun.

This would've been the case not for that one person who mumbled a few words when Adam was leaving. No normal would've heard the few words he said but due to Adam's mana sense, he completely understood what that man said.

"Poor guy, he doesn't even know he's already targetted. I guess that's what happens you're too rich for your own good."

After getting hearing this one line, Adam finally got something interesting. He checked the items he had bought and noticed that there wasn't any kind of mana signal embedded into it. Knowing this, there must have been some kind of physical tell when using the product, or a side effect.

"This'll be a nice gift, at the very least."

Adam went back to his stand and waited for the day to pass so he could finally leave the kingdom and move on. The rest of today was pretty much uneventful with items to sell eventually running out.

When night finally arrived, Adam hopped on his horse and left the kingdom, without any major incidents. Under the night's sky, his figure disappeared as if he never existed in the first place.

After opening his eyes, he was once again met with grey brick walls lined with extreme detail depicting a man fighting against an entire army. This familiar situation was so common that he already lost count of how many times this has happened.

"Welcome back, master!"

"What happened while I was gone?"

A man wearing a sharp butler outfit gave Adam a brief description of what happened. The news contained information on how Bran was finally united under a single banner, the fortification of Maghim, and the little fight that happened the day before.

"This was eventually going to happen but this turned out better than I expected. Zane trusts me and I trust him, this is good. Eve has her motives but she needs me to do it. Mira, on the other hand, at least stands up for what she believes in."

"You can all go now."

Adam waved his hand and everyone in the room left bringing along the horse and carriage with them. After that, Adam went and walked for a bit going towards Zane's room first. He knocked and Zane answered back.

"Come in."

When Zane saw Adam enter the room, he felt a little conflicted. Regardless, he still stood by what he said yesterday and kept the natural atmosphere.

"Well? Aren't you going to ask me anything?"

"Like I said yesterday, I trust you. It might seem crazy but it's what I'll believe for the time being."

"Hahaha! You don't have to be so tense! Things have been pretty grim these past month but let's go somewhere relaxing, what do you say?"

Zane still kept his calm and thought about it for a while, "Knowing you, this is something that'll further your goals but at the same time, you're not lying, are you?"

"A little danger, a little fun, nothing you'll be bothered by too much."

"It's not like I have a say in this, right?"

"What are you talking about? If you want to stay with Abel and Gabe while we go on a trip, I understand. I'm simply giving you a choice."

Zane then grinned then made a bold demand, "If that's the case, then I want them to come with us."

"Simple enough. I'll see you tomorrow."

Zane was still smiling but was taken aback, Adam really did give him a choice and Adam followed his request. This just further solidified his idea of their relationship.

Adam now went and knocked on the girl's room. Unlock Zane and Adam who had their own rooms, Eve and Mira decided to be in the same room. After hearing a knock on their door, Eve answered.

"Zane, come in."

Adam answered back, "It's not Zane but can I still come in?"

"Go ahead."

When Adam saw the room they were in, surprisingly it was a complete mess. The pilows were everywhere, the walls were slightly scratched and there was a giant indent in the middle of the room.

"I'm not going to ask."

Both of them replied at the exact same time, "Good."

"Anyways, since there has been quite tense this past month, I was planning on us going on a trip."

Eve's curiosity piqued, "Where to?"

"A pretty fun place to stay at, the Kingdom of Luxury. Are you coming?"

Without a shred of hesitation, Eve immediately agreed, as if something clicked.

"How about you, Mira?"

"I'd rather stay here if you don't mind."

"That's fine, I'll send you back to the orphanage to spend time with your friends. I'll call for you when we get back."

Mira didn't expect Adam to ease up on her, taken aback by his attitude she simply replied, "Uh... thanks."

"I'll see you tomorrow then, use these products if you like."

Adam then tossed the products he bought earlier in the Kingdom of Ore and left with any further delay. Mira and Eve went and checked the products that Adam tossed them. There were just quality items that were for hygiene and beautification products.

After looking around the products that Adam gave them, Eve took a perfume and sprayed it on herself and slightly chuckled.

Eve mumbled under her slightly ragged breath, "Of course, he would've known. I guess it's earlier than expected."

Mira reached out her hand and tried to grab the perfume when Eve subconsciously put it behind her back.

"Oh, come on, Eve! You don't have to be that stingy, there are so many things here. I think Rinny will like that!"

Eve took a cold stance, "Take everything else but this. This is something that'll only hurt you in the future."

Mira was slightly confused, "Hurt me? A perfume bottle will hurt me? Besides, despite how psychopathic he is, I doubt Adam will be crazy enough to give us something so dangerous."

"He is but the only reason why he's giving it to me is that I know what it is. Just... trust me on this."

Mira just said, "I'll take everything else then, my friends will be happier with this."

The night ended off on a sour note with this situation but wasn't major enough to incite a fight between them.

The following morning, Adam brought everyone together towards the teleportation portal. Seeing this entire group of people it would've been quite odd but since they would separate and do their own things, this wouldn't be a problem.

Worse comes to worst, every single one of them was capable of defending themselves. With their skills and abilities, they should be relatively fine with what comes their way.

Before they stepped through the portal, Adam gave each one of them a pouch containing 100,000 gold coins. Understandably, they were shocked at how easily Adam gave them this much gold without any difficulty.

Adam played down what he just gave them, "Don't look so surprised, that's the bare amount you're going to need for a week's stay. Just take note that we'll be going our separate ways when we enter the kingdom."

Everyone nodded signifying they understood what hidden subtleties behind Adam's words. Now, there was something else that changed from before, Zane felt a slight glimpse of mana surrounding the gold pouches, despite this he kept it to himself.

Eve suddenly noticed something odd, "Aren't we using disguises like we usually do?"

Adam was about to step into the portal when he stopped, "Don't worry about that. Sometimes the best disguise is to be yourself."

When they all walked through the portal, they arrived in the middle of nowhere in between the Kingdom of Ore and the Kingdom of Luxury.

Adam pointed in a direction, "That's where the Kingdom of Luxury lies. See you there."

Adam then instantly wore his black cloak and disappeared in front of them in the middle of the day.

Just before his presence completely disappeared he said a few parting words, "Remember to have fun. Especially you, Eve."

Eve subconsciously reached out to the perfume bottle that she had. Seeing that Adam was nowhere to be found, she then discreetly used the perfume on herself.

Zane spoke up, "Adam said to have fun, I'll at least try. Let's go guys."

With these four people, they all have superhuman physical prowess letting them close distance even faster than with riding a horse. The days' worth of distance between them and the Kingdom of Luxury could be gapped in only a few hours, letting them reach the Kingdom of Luxury at around noon.

When they finally reached the Kingdom of Luxury, it wasn't as they expected. This kingdom had no walls nor did it have any guards around. The greatest way to describe it was a giant festive land, people were constantly drinking and laughing to their heart's content. This land though was so massive that it reached as far as the eye could see.

From resorts to swimming, from exotic delicacies to the most expensive clothing, this entire kingdom was filled with items and services of quality that this place deserved the name it was recognized as.

When Zane used mana to increased his sight, he noticed something in the distance, it was a massive statue depicting a dragon being vanquished by a single man. At further inspection, he noticed a few guards lurking around defending this area.

Noticing this, his curiosity and caution urged him to ask more. Finding out more about this place and how it worked was something he had learned from Adam, learning the lay of the land and the process within it will help him move around easier.

With Abel and Gabe having no clear goal right now, they decided to just follow Zane for the time being, eventually splitting off when they felt it was time. Eve, on the other hand, was already planning ahead since this wasn't the first time she was here.
