《A Chance》Epilogue

Today is their wedding. I get ready and head over to the park and talk to Tyron before the wedding. I climb into the carriage and ride to the park. It is beautiful. There are white chairs set up all over in front of a slightly raised area. I think it looks like a stage. On the stage, there is a curved white podium with two tall beautifully carved chairs. The carvings seem to show the history of the elf empire. I see the Draco fire here and the great Queen Drydallis there. I also see the peace and panic that comes in between those two huge events.
It seems that the queen-to-be Galena has great taste in weddings with those lovely branches and traditional elven theme rethought into a beautiful maze of murals and white... I'm so proud of him. Tyron I mean. He has done so much. He is marrying a great woman and is the king of the elven empire.
I go to the bride's room which is located in a tent to the side. I want to talk to Galena and help her get ready. We have talked to each other at home but now that she is going to be my sister in law I want to get to know her more. We talk and I help her put on her dress. It is a flowy white mermaid dress. Just like the one that I always dreamed of wearing out at my wedding. She looks stunning.
“You look great,” I say kindly as she blushes. She grabs her bouquet and heads out. I go to my seat and watch everything. Galena walks down the aisle and I see Tyron just blown away. They say their vows and kiss. Later during the ceremony, while Tyron and galena were dancing together I felt someone watching me.

I turn around and look for someone but don't see anyone. I turn back to Tyron and Galena. Then about 5 minutes later I felt it again. I turn and I see her. She is looking at me. She looks so much like her yet so different. She has mother's eyes and mouth but she is so much older than I remember.
But didn't the mother die? I saw it happen. I truly did. Father killed her and I killed him. She is dead right? But then how is she here? Or is that not her. I start to walk over to her. When she realizes I'm coming over to her she gets a panicked look on her face and starts walking away. I follow her and she picks up her pace and starts to run.
People give us weird looks and I slow down but keep watching her. When we get out of the crowd I see her walk behind a tree and I lose sight of her. I go to the tree but she is gone. Vanished into thin air. She is alive. She's here in Terre Aurora. I have so many questions.
Questions that will burn through the mind like a wildfire.
To find the truth you must ask the right questions.
And sometimes the questions are more important than the answers.

Jeremy, a teenage boy with a freakish talent for the clarinet, is less than thrilled when his mom announces that they’re up and moving to a tiny village on a tiny Scottish island the summer before his senior year of high school. But Dunsegall turns out to be an okay sort of place, if you like cliffs, sheep, and small-batch ice cream made by a family obsessed with Ray Charles. Everything is mostly fine until one day, in the depths of the woods, they stumble across a two hundred year-old monk and a living, breathing — or, rather, snoring — dragon who need their help.
