《Branch Adventurers Guild [Dropped]》Alex

Laying back at the tree roots, I had a book in my hands while the winds rushed towards me carefully. Yawn, I was bored, it has been two weeks since I came to this part of the forest and it is boring. "Kuku, Master a new pray has entered the parameters" A cold voice emerged from my back.
"Let us see how strong they are." Closing the book of sculpting, I threw it in my inventory and jumped down the tree. I landed on the ground without making a sound, I slowly slid the mask back to my face and disappeared from the place I was in.
---------------
"He was last seen here, Guild Master!" A monk said to the muscular, short bearded man. "Find him at all costs, he killed way too many of our men…Spread!" the guild master commanded.
The six people following the Guild Master rushed in six directions and began searching, they searched the trees, the ground, the rocks and the simple grass for any kind of clue but they failed.
A few hours have passed, and the five figures gathered, but one was missing. "Where is Urok?!" The guild master screamed, as alarmed as he was he didn't expect to lose one man during the search. "Stay together, go to the direction Urok went through."
Cautious they were, but once they found Urok body, they all vomited, and the two girls in the group fainted. Urok had his body torn into pieces but stuck together, "We need to kill him!" the Guild master screamed with rage.
Ching! Ching! Ching! Chains pierced through the five adventurers and stuck them near Urok. "Good afternoon" A masked, hooded man came from behind the guild master.
---------------
I have been hunted by the adventurers guild on this planet since I entered the forest, it seems like the royal family controls it and for a gold adventurer to not be part of it is something they couldn't risk which led them to send all their adventurers to hunt me.
"You! Dare!" The guild master punched towards me, I punched back, and both our fists struck each other with momentum. "I warned you, do not hunt me or I will retaliate, do you think a mere royal family can stop me?" Grinning under the mask, I kept punching and getting used to the guild master momentum.

"Hmph," The speed of our fighting began to increase, within a second 11 hits were repelled with more hits. "Tonight one of us will live in this world" I smiled as I kept hitting without lightning and Asura.
"Tiger Fist!" The Guild master smiled as his fist became a paw of a tiger… "heh" I smiled and took out asura. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The guild master was sent flying. I walked towards him and smiled as I knelt looking down on him "Tell me, who placed the order on hunting me?" I asked him after breaking all of his body.
"I won't tell you anything!" The muscular man laughed as he looked at me. I pulled a fist back and as I was about to hit him someone held my fist. "No need to kill him, this world needs him… hello" I young looking boy appeared behind me.
Hoh, someone that could stop my fist. Standing up I faced the young boy, "Hello" A smile appeared on my face as I faced him. Raising my hand for a handshake, he complied and shook my hand hard before we both laughed and left the idiot behind.
We sat on the tree I was at before and went silent for a minute. "Tell me, who are you, young man? That fist contained everything and stopping it is something very hard here.", taking out a cig, I lighted it up with lightning and puffed some smoke while asking him.
"Like you, Ace" The young man looked at me with a smile before he looked at the forest. "I am the real guild master of this world."
I was shocked, and I thought it was that guy, "So it looks like that man is someone you chose… you better make better choices next time" I laughed a bit before puffing out more smoke. "I have been the guild master for a few hundred years" the young boy giggled.
Eh, the way he said it sounds depressed. "How many of us are there?", looking at the young man I asked. "Not many, 19 maybe or less… we are fighting a lost war Ace" the young man turned solemn and then depressed while looking at the distance.

Not counting my future selves it means that the adventurer guild is some type of universal organization huh. "Sorry for not introducing myself, I am Alex, a simple villager," I smiled and pulled the mask to the other side of my head before I introduced myself. "Ace, orphan."
We chatted for a few hours, and the more I knew about the adventurer guild, the harder it was for me to accept them. We are one of the four organizations in the world, the weakest one and the top organizations are Light and Dark. The third organization is mysterious because they rarely appeared, they are called Trinity.
The grading system, on the other hand, is what got me smiling, S Grade and under are considered mortal level while SS Grade is considered Rare. SSS Grade Is Epic while above is unknown to him. He even talked about the system that we see, and only the Guild masters can obtain it via birth or administration.
"Remember, always keep in mind that your power won't help you in your world Ace" Alex said and then said something that made me shocked "I have been alone for the first hundred years, my class is necromancy yet I couldn't do anything towards the monsters who attacked this world, I could barely hold them off and soon once the restrictions are gone… I will die"
Restrictions? Fucking hell… "Tell me, what about the base? How do I make my base the strongest?" I looked at him before throwing the cig, "With enough gold, you can purchase anything… The more gold you have, the more the shop shows you the things within".
Alex stood up, "You need to leave now, I have been watching you since the day you entered, and from what I see, you might be able to save us because no one was able to max out his attributes before the invasion, especially 19 years before it happened".
[Would you like to complete the quest, 'Slime Extermination.' Y/N]
'Yes'
The darkness began to shroud me, "Alex, if you need help, I am here." I disappeared from this world. "I am sorry, I don't have much time" Alex smiled and looked at the far distance of the forest. A large tower that wasn't there appeared as if it was hidden from Ace.
"You did good, from the prophecy we will prosper with his help or die" an old man appeared next to Alex with closed eyes.
-------------------
[Congratulations, you have completed 'Slime extermination']
[Calculating total reward… You have gained 255 gold, 11 silver, and 50 copper]
I looked at the currency tab and smiled, 1563 gold 62 silver 80 copper. "Welcome back master!" Ele appeared inside the tavern, followed by the entire group. "Ace!" Emma ran to me and hugged me, I felt happy as I looked at everyone and hugged Emma back.
"Master, welcome back, here is the list for the Beta testers 100 players have been chosen" Rose entered the tavern and had a stack of papers. Looking through the paper I smiled, there were young people, old people, sick and healthy. "Good job Rose" You can rest now.
"Emma, we will be leaving tomorrow, we will go on a vacation" Smiling I patted Emma as I whispered to her. "Yes! Oops, ok Ace" She blushed after she screamed by accident.

The Dungeon Boss's Favorite Game - A Virmo Story
Kragathor is the final guardian of the world’s deepest dungeon. He is an immortal pinnacle of existence that is otherwise known as an ancient dragon. And he is terribly bored. His sole source of amusement comes from scrying on the adventurer teams that are in the upper levels of his dungeon. Through spying on adventurers, Kragathor hears of a new magic item, called a Virmo, that allows one to project their mind into a fictional world in some sort of grand-scale game. Recognizing these Virmo games as a potential diversion for his endless boredom, he orders a minion to infiltrate the nearby town and acquire some of these games. Once the minion returns, he logs into a game set in a world that runs on the twin magics of ‘science’ and ‘technology’, and embarks on his new journey as Bob, the Level 1 Human with no class. Release Schedule: As I wrap up the end of the first major arc, I will publish the chapters as they're completed. However, as I transition into the next arc, I will go with a two or three times a week release schedule, since I will be splitting time between this story and Chimera. Discord Server

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
