《Heir of the Dragon》Chapter 49

"Sir!"
"Move over, Louise!"
As the young Master stepped aside with respect, the old man appeared beside Mel, almost stepping on Louise. He was not alone. There were two more people; a man and a woman were also with him.
"Boy, how about you quit the Plant Department and become a fighter?"
The man, wearing a red leather vest with no sleeves, spoke by placing his hand on Mel's shoulder. He was seeing such a big young man, perhaps as tall as himself, for the first time.
“Take it easy Sokom! In my opinion, the boy's abilities are much more suitable for the Alchemy Department!”
The woman, pushing her breasts that popped out of her lacy bustier into Mel's mouth, tried to push the big man aside with one hand.
"You carrion crows, get away from my student!"
The Head of the Plant Department jumped in front of the two with an agility that could not be expected from his age and physical stance. A very interesting scene was taking place in the harbor where the Spirit Boats were docked.
"Hey, what's going on?"
"Are you asking me, how can I know?"
Although the students of different departments standing side by side wanted to evaluate the situation among themselves, they could not reach any conclusion. The heads of the three departments that made up the Green Shadow Academy were fighting around a rookie boy.
"You ignoramuses, don't you read any books?"
As the students were discussing this scene among themselves, a person with both hands on his chest began to speak. In his voice, the subtle tints of arrogance had appeared and then disappeared. He continued to speak after seeing the majority turned to him and called out in a tone that was too light to suppress the Heads of Departments.

“The boy they call Mel is surrounded by a faint green color. Do you know what this means?"
This young man was selling himself slowly. Since he had information that everyone was curious about, he seemed to be gaining time to make others not forget his face.
"There is a possibility that this boy has the Spirit of the Forest, one of the Ten Great Blessings!"
The students, speaking to each other in whispers, went silent at that moment. Obviously, all of them were aware of what was being said. For a while, nobody spoke. After ten breaths, one of them finally asked his question in a weak voice.
"Are you sure?"
“I'm not, but look at the state of the Heads of Departments. When was the last time you saw them so excited?"
Everyone's eyes turned to the trio sparring with each other. The people with the highest authority, managing huge departments, were arguing fiercely.
“What do you mean he has already chosen his department? Are you trying to fool me, Toygi?"
The Head of Fighting Department gently nudged the old man, the Head of Plant Department, with the back of his hand, and accompanied this move with an impudent laugh.
"He's gotten here by breaking the Plant Department records. You will just whistle for it, you barbarian buster!"
The old man did not stand back, but the attractive woman who looked like she was in her mid-thirties, cut him off with a sullen laugh.
“We've seen how much you care about your record holder student. If it is up to that fancy beanstalk, won’t he send the boy back with the first Spirit Boat?”
The Head of Alchemy Department caught the old man at his weakest spot. The man named Toygi was beating Young Master Louise with his eyes.

“Marina, you're telling the truth, but I'm very curious, what are you doing here? Obviously, the boy is skilled in Plant Science and is fit to be a physical warrior. Isn't your department all made up of women? What are you struggling for?"
After the words of the burly man, the breasts of the woman who had a deep cleavage rose up and then went down. But after two breaths, she immediately came back to herself.
"Look who's talking? Is the Forest Spirit's Blessing something that fits your department?"
The man, who was shouting by spreading his saliva into the air, suddenly went silent, and thoughts began to cross in his head as he turned his eyes.
"Why not? The Blessing of the Spirit of the Forest provides the opportunity to communicate with plants, as well as giving the acquirer a wise calmness and cold blood. These two features can very well be useful to warriors. And look at that physique, the man was truly born to be a warrior!"
"You really are such a meathead, Sokom!"
The beautiful woman stood against the burly man, and judging by her mood, she did not seem like she would back down.
"The boy is already gifted with plants. Can't you imagine what will happen if he can attain the Blessing of the Spirit of the Forest? In addition to being able to grow his own plants and make blends, he can be the supreme alchemist with the coolness and wisdom required for the process of making potions."
The woman's eyes shone. It was clear that she was expressing her dreams, but the other two Heads of Departments did not agree with her.
The debate flared up more and more. The only goal of the glorious Heads of Departments was to take up the burly young boy who was looking around in a confused state.
"What is going on here?"
When the heat of the environment increased and many people lost control, an authoritative voice echoed in the harbor where the Spirit Boats were anchored.
A person, walking with neither wide nor short steps while his hands were tied behind his waist, came to the area where hundreds of people were standing. On his right side and his left side, there were two other men as tall as Mel. They were looking at the crowd with menacing expressions.
“Since you didn’t attend, I said I should come myself. Would someone want to tell me what is happening here?”

Journey of my Core
I have a hard time referring anything that I write to as 'Original'. The longer we as a species exist the harder it is to be truly original, I am certainly influenced by all that I read and watch Including but not limited to J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, and all of the stories here on Royal Road. From the start the MC is only able to comprehend the most basic of what is impacting it with very little to no understanding of the MC's surroundings. There may be updates in the future, but I am in no way a consistant writer. I will never claim to be the best artist, but I drew a representation for my story. Procrastination... Procrastination...
