《Heir of the Dragon》Chapter 10

"Durability recovery mixture? Okay!"
“Power recovery mixture? Okay!
"Healing powder? Okay!"
"Antidote mixture? Okay!"
Mel looked inside his bag and checked his stocks for the last time. He had prepared all the mixtures written on the first page of the plant-related section of the book and then set out for the road.
When he stepped out of the cave, his facial expression was more stable and his eyes were more determined than before.
"It has been two days since his last howl. Most of those who have come must have returned. But judging by the footprints, it would have been too bad if I were a little late!"
The skinny boy spoke, looking at the tracks that started in front of his cave and went deep into the forest. There were many tracks intertwined with each other, and they were all in the same shape.
“There is no escape from fate. They must be relatives of the creatures that chased me that night. You are the first obstacle in my new life, my old friends! "
Mel laughed. He smartened up his light green leather suit and headed into the forest. Given that his head was swiftly turning left and right, he was rather cautious this time. The traces of a real life-or-death struggle were read from his movements.
At one point he stopped, bent slightly, and caressed the branches of the plant that was at the height of his waist.
"Thank you for your help. As far as I see, this has been good for you too!"
The little boy spoke cheerfully. The plant that had helped him in the fight three days ago had grown at an incredible speed.
"I promise, if I kill another wild creature, I'll leave its body completely to you!"
Mel proceeded by following in the footsteps. This time he was checking his right side from the corner of his eye and he took the fruit of his preparation by jumping sideways at a critical moment.
The wild creature, foaming in the mouth, began to growl when its surprise attack went for nothing. So it took a head-on fight position.

"Grandpa, there are so many creatures that want to enter the killing circle!"
He muttered to himself, as the enemy, springing on all four legs, came right in front of him. The attack from the front line targeted Mel’s head. Mel's response was to throw himself on the ground.
This reaction was not out of fear. The child, lying on his back, attacked the creature's abdomen with his right hand, which he trained with puppets. As the creature fell on the ground, a strange noise came out, as an empty sack had fallen.
Mel walked calmly. The place, where the creature fell, had turned into a pool of blood. He bent over and grabbed the body by the neck with his left hand, and at that moment another shadow rushed out of the bushes.
A second later, the claws of the shadow landed on Mel's face, and then it flew away like the wind.
"I was wondering when you would show up!"
The skinny boy, staring at the few shallow scratches on his right hand, spoke to the creature standing five feet away. The creature, gasping for breath, made no other sound, watched Mel for a while, and turned around, and began to flee.
"They're savages but obviously not fools!"
Capturing the spoil of war, Mel got his place next to the plant he was interacting with within no time flat. He carefully removed the creature's tiny core, took it inside his ring, dropped its dead body at the bottom of the plant, and entered the state of meditation.
Leaning his back on the broad-stemmed tree, the boy calmly sent his energy to the soil, and from there to the roots of the plant, he had previously interacted with. The energy flowed smoothly like water. It didn’t encounter any obstacles while moving through the way it knew.
"What is happening? What's this burning energy? "
Everything was smooth. But Mel groaned with pain. New energy, hurling like red flames, emerged beside the softly glowing green energy.
Mel got trembled violently as the green and red energy together entered his body. His skin color was blushing; the sweat flowing from his forehead was falling to the ground drop by drop.

“So it happens. The plant shares the energy it absorbs from the blood and flesh of the wild creature with me. Very good! I have to hang on and bear with it! "
After a while, the green energy flow stopped, but the red energy continued to flow steadily. Mel's whole body blushed, but his right hand was the part that was affected most by this change of color. The strengthened limb was once again subjected to energy baptism, the sound of the bones was grating on the ear.
“I don't know what the crystals are for, but corpses are undoubtedly very useful to me. I can feel it. My right hand is having a change. Besides, my left hand is getting stronger a little!”
Mel observed the rapid change in his body when the corpse was completely absorbed into the soil and discovered that his speed of development increased thanks to his discovery.
"Would you like to come with me? I can plant you in the cave too? "
When Mel called to the tree which had become taller than him, he saw no reaction. The plant achieving years of development in a few days was silent. Those two living forms looked at each other for a while. It was the species that had the speaking capability that broke the silence.
“So you want to stay in your place. Maybe this is the best for you. Here, take it. Another creature body. Take this as a thank-you."
When Mel had calmed down, the midday sun reached the top of the hill. The burning rays of the sun were hitting on the ground by passing between wide leaves.
The kid moved inside the forest quickly and fought with the animals that crossed his path.
When he returned to the place where the plant was, he had wild creature bodies in each hand. After stopping for a while, he continued by throwing one more on the ground.
"Tomorrow, I'll try the trees around here!"
Mel set his sight high by aiming for the tall trees that were behind him as he was walking towards the cave. Inside the cave, the temperature was constant and there was always fresh air regardless of the conditions outside. As soon as he stepped in, the boy took a deep breath and ran to the herb garden while throwing off his clothes.
The moment he swung his hand, two corpses appeared among the flowers. Those were the bodies of the creatures he killed in the daytime. At that moment a rustle was heard and the bodies that fell on the ground disappeared in the blink of an eye.
“Hey, hey! Wait! Don't suck right away! ”
Mel shouted in panic. But before he could finish his words, everything was over and done with. He sat down naked and started meditation. He wanted to interact with the plants that he hadn't absorbed energy from for four days.
Only a few seconds had passed when the ground was covered with green veins. They flocked towards Mel's place from all sides. There were no red veins of energy. Everything proceeded as usual except that some energies were slightly darker in color.
"That's it, that's it!"
The skinny boy cried out and started running in the direction of the war room where the puppets were. He attacked the targets as he entered. His left hand descended without stopping. He used only his left hand. After absorbing the energy of the plants inside the cave, Mel did not stop until he devastated his left hand and became incapable of even raising it.
"I'm going to gamble this day's harvest. I hope things work out the way I think.”
When he reached the great space, he swung his right hand and dropped the corpses of the creatures inside his ring to the bottom of the plants. When the blood of about ten dead bodies began to seep into the ground, he let himself into the cool waters.
He was using the Healing effect of the small stream. He closed his eyes and removed the fatigue of the day with the water.

To Become a Troll: A Monster Evolution Story
Thrust into the supernatural world of the deep forest, Paul finds himself in a situation where he could find himself prey to pretty much every other creature and animal around. If he's to survive, he must shed his weak form to grow stronger and survive. But the forest is full of creatures beyond human understanding, that act without the need for food or shelter and that seem to exist for the sole purpose of dragging humans to the bottom of a murky river. Is it really possible to kill such creatures when your only strength is physical prowess? --- A monster evolution story based on Swedish creature mythology. The focus will overwhelmingly be on the progression of the main character and his slow increase in strength. Although many of the creatures are based on Swedish creature mythology, I have taken creative liberties in order to ensure that evolution lines and the such are in line with the usual. The main thought I had when going into this is that I want to delay the "meeting a human" section as much as possible. My plan is to get him to endgame levels of strength before even sniffing the possibility of seeing a human. Whether I'm actually able to do this remains to be seen, but I'm holding my thumbs! Also, I'm aware that there are other troll evolution stories, but this is unrelated to them. They can do their stuff and I'll do mine, but this is in no way related to any of them. That said, hope you enjoy it!

Unlimited Phantasm
DEATH While there is a difference as to when a person or object will "end," it is certain that they will all arrive at that point because death is not something that "arrives," but rather is something already contained within an object at its creation and certainly bound to happen as part of the principle of causality.
