《Mistaken Land: A Gamer's life in an another world》Mana and Magic

Now we are in a wide open field so that Alec can freely teach me magic. He started the lesson be telling me the fundamentals of magic.
He starts to explain. "So magic in this world is very easy to learn I think. Well magic is based on natural elements; Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Dark, Light and others. Basically it all depends on what element you are capable to wield. Like for example, if one's attribute is closer to fire--"
"So they are most likely able to wield fire magic easily. I got that much." I grinned smugly.
"Yup exactly. Good job." Now he helds out a bottle container filled with water. "Now mana is like an energy you consume to cast your spells. You see this bottle? This is like us, we contain mana which you can see as the water inside. Now if you use magic you will be consuming your mana bit by bit as you cast spells until you ran out of it." Then he pours all the water out of the bottle until none is left. Then he continued. "The more bigger the container, the more water you can hold which means if you have much mana pool that means you are strong since you can use lots of spells while having enough mana left. You got all of that?" I just nodded. Yeah the concept of mana here is just like in mmorpgs so I absorbed the information easily.
"Now a person can have more than one attribute element to wield which could make the person more stronger since you can combine these elements and cast another type of magic. For example, a fire and water element wielder can combine both and cast steam/mist magic. While a water and wind element wielder can generate ice magic." Oh, I see.
"Ok I understood. What is my attribute element then?" I curiously asked him since I want to know what element can I use.
"Wait let me finish first. There are many things you can do with magic. You can even put up barriers since they repel other kinds of magical attack to you. I don't remember how to put up a barrier though, well we will check it out later in the library. Aside from barriers and damage spells, there are other kinds of spells. Like spells for hallucinations, illusions, sleepiness and other kinds of spells you can think of as long as it is in the books. Aside from spells you can also use weapons to boost your status like grimoire books, wands, orbs, magical swords and also magical accessories that gives you bonuses. You can try swordsmanship though, it's pretty fun if you take my advice." Oh so many interesting things in this world to know about.

Swordsmanship huh? Well that seems nice. I wonder if katanas exist in this world, that would be cool.
"Ok I pretty much got it all. Now can you tell me my attribute?" I asked him. I sound so persistent. Lol.
"Uh, I'm not sure. Let me check it again. You see, I could sense almost every attribute in you or I just read it wrong and imagined things." Eh? Really now?
"Are you sure you're not looking for reasons to sexually harass me?" I peered at him.
"Do I really look like a PERVERT TO YOU?!" He raised his voice while emphasizing the last part. He sounds annoyed. Pffft.
"Chill. I'm just kidding okay?" Then I laughed. He just replied with a face palm. After that he puts his hand on my chest again, like what he did earlier. After that he opened his eyes.
"I think it's dark and fire. I could sense other kinds of attributes too, yet faint but high compared to mine. So basically yeah it's dark and fire." He explained while looks a little flustered.
"Uh but I don't think fire seems to be compatible with dark attribute." I said.
"You are wrong. Black flames burns out the opponent completely without leaving a trace." Shiznits! That sounds scary.
“ what?!”
“Since I’m a demon I can easily do dark magic it’s my most strong mana base but I can use fire too.” He tells while a dark hole levitating on his right hand and a flame levitating on left.
“Whuaaa! Awesome”, I’m super impressed by that.
The magic disappears from his hands but he said
“Look at that tree? Just see it disappear. HELL FIRE!”
The tree is enveloped by black flames and gets consumed un till only black ground is left instead of a 7 feet tree.
“Wow! Those flames are really hot.”
“Yea they are. I hope you are getting it bit by bit now. “
“nope!! I completely understood. Let me try hell fire too!”
“sure seji! You can do it!!”
“Alright. HELL FIRE!”
Nothing happens. I shout it over and over and over and nothing happens.

“Um you need to visualize in your brain too. Like think mana of water and your body as a container. And get water out of container with your palms and throw it. And imagine the water converting into black flames.”
“alright let me try.” I visualize what he just said; take out mana and throw it and think its turning into black flames.
I put my hand against tree and say
“HELL FLAME"
The whole ground is lit with fire !! Shttt
“Whaaaat!?! I didn’t wanted to do that. Its way too much. Alec now what?”
Alec jumps on the top of nearby rock which was like 5 feet tall. And enchants
“DIVINE RAIN!”
A rain of light starts falling and the fire gets put out. But Alec is breathing heavily
“Next lesson was that you can use other elements as you like but limited since using other elements than your own ones takes a lot of mana. And also hell fire or flame whatever you wanna call it doesnt burns everything out. It will kill big monsters and when they die the flame will die too. Flame stay as long as their prey is alive but on trees and ETC it burns till nothing is remaining. it’s also no good for making fire either. Also there are healing attributes too in everyone's mana. You can apply that with skills.” He said all this while breathing heavily
I run to Alec aid and we walk back to hut. Looks like Alec exhausted himself.
“Go take a nap. I understand it all. Thank you Alec. Now rest for now.” I said with a serious face.
“I’ve gotten weak. As a kid when I was running from Angel’s and other factions I could use divine rain for 2 more times at least until completely exhausting myself. “ he says while laying on the mattress.
“You are over powered.. I have to be strong like you"
“visualize holding little water first. Soon you wont need to visualize anything . But for now visualize everything and control mana flow.”
“I see. Sleep for now then. I’ll handle practise myself till you wake up"
I go out and try to use as little as mana as possible and a little flame comes and dies out. That means its working. So I start making that small thing bigger bit by bit...
It’s been 2 hours by now. I have managed to control my flames now. And Alec is awake and comes out to check on me. My mana is almost exhausted.
“Alec come see I have control over it now. Look, HELL FLAME , burn out" I cast hell flame on a another tree and this time it lands and wears off perfectly.
Alec starts clapping , “good job that’s very nice! You still need work in putting more force into magic but it’s good for a rookie. Feels like I’m teaching a 10 year old.”
I look at Alec with hopeless face, “I’ll kill you now"
“Oh my so Mr. Different world is actually ready to kill!”, Alec looks at me while putting his hand on face and laughing.
“uhh!! I’m going to kill you"
“yea sure. Anyways. There is more to learn too. Like how we can use other elemental magic to cover our element”
Alec turns back to my face and sees I am asleep. He Carries me to mattresses and doesn't wake me up until dinner time
“Sigh* you sleep too much. Freaking sloth.” Alec said and carried me to house.
We were still able to laugh knowing other past. I guess, I was starting to accept my fate in this world..

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.
