《Mistaken Land: A Gamer's life in an another world》Who is Alec?

Alec tells his story with a serious look.
"There was a war 100 years ago, the demon race and the angel race fought with each other. My parents were forced to join in battle however they didn't want to partake in the war nor want me to be involved with it, hence we ran away and escaped the clutches of bloodshed. We had our own peaceful life for a moment. Then one unfortunate day, a human saw us. You see, the humans and the angel race see us demons as enemies. And so that human told an angel where we are and thus...my parents were killed." I could see the pain behind those eyes but hence he continued. "That Angel, he was alone yet he still defeated the both of them. Even though my parents were severly wounded, they still tried their best to hold the enemy just so I can escape. They told me to run but I didn't want to, I should've had died with them...I didn't want to lose them. But I respected their wish, I escaped and promised my self that I would get stronger and avenge their deaths! That Angel's face, I will never forget it. I have to live and survive with each passing day just so I can see to it that one day I shall take my revenge and kill him. I will make him pay." Alec then turned his back. The seething rage and despair, I could clearly sense it. I saw him tightening his fist with tears pouring out of his eyes. I do not know what to do or say to comfort him, I am still in shock after everything he said. So many people must have died in this war.
I arranged myself and stood up, I went up to him and put my hand on his back. "Don't worry. I promise you, we will surely have your revenge. I will help you and maybe this will also be the way I can have my answers about this world too."

He turned to me with a sad look on his eyes. "You don't have to. You will die and this is not your fight. You don't even know how to use magic."
Then I smiled, "Then what are we waiting for? Teach me then. I'm pretty sure I can learn it easily."
"I could teach you but I am afraid about you being human might get a curse." This curse again eh.
"Well then I'll just have to become a demon by myself right?" I asked him with that evil little grin on my face. I was just kidding of course but if that would happen, that would actually be cool.
"Are you crazy? That is absurd! It could be dangerous." He says reluctantly, he looks really worried. He really believed it, oh well.
"Oh come on! I am pretty much involved already...and you are my friend now. I want to help you and besides you're helping me too you know." I really think we will become good friends.
"Well if you really want too then fine. However I'm not really sure though, well we could look for books in the library and find some spells in there. But for now, come near me." I'm curious but I followed his command.
"Now lift up your shirt." Eh? Now, now this is not going to be yaoi right?
"I'm not into 'boys' boy." I said with an awkward face. He replied with a face palm.
"You want to be burned alive? Idiot. I just want to see your mana pool." Oh mana pool.
"Sheeesh! You should've said that in the first place!" Then we both laughed because of the moment. But neverthless I lifted my shirt up and was curious to what will he be doing. As I took off my shirt, I noticed that my body changed. I didn't have abs before, I was a kind of chubby! Now I see this? I immediately touched my face and examined it, it's still the same right? I'm not sure, I need a mirror.

"Oi, what are you doing seji?" He looks at me with a hopeless look.
"Nothing. Do you have a mirror? I need to see my face right now." He must be weirded out but I really need to see if my face changed too!
"Uh sure, it's in the bathroom. It's a small one though." While he points at the bathroom.
"That will do, thanks." Then I rushly set off to the bathroom and immediately look at the mirror. I was shocked of what I saw. My hair used to be black but now it is white with some black color mixed at the roots. I looked like my character in that mmorpg I played! This is so weird. First the muscles, abs and all then this hair. Just what the heck is going on!
"AHRG! THIS IS SO CONFUSING!" I couldn't control myself from shouting in the bathroom. So many questions yet no answers! I will find out eventually.
"Hey what happened? Is there something wrong?" Alec asked as he pops out in the bathroom door.
"Nothing, just look at my mana pool now." He was still kind of confused but he brushed off the topic and proceeded with what he was going to do. He touches my chest right where my heart is and closes his eyes.
"You will feel a loud heart beat but there's nothing to worry about it." I did felt it just like what he said after that he opens his eyes. He was quite surprised.
"You have the same mana pool as me somehow. I didn't know how a human of your age can have that much without training. But then again, I haven't used my magic properly nowadays. I was just doing 'everything job' to earn money after all. I don't want anyone finding out that I am a demon but I guess I need to train my magic again from now on too. Since the war has now long ended I don't think there shouldn't be a problem anymore about anyone seeing us." He said.
“Oh the war...wait you do Yorozuya?” (Yo****ya; seji refers to the occupation of "Gi***ki" from the series 'Gi***ma').
"Yeah I told you about the war. My parents didn't really wanted to hurt their friends from the other race but yeah the war ended after some years since my parents died. But wait what's Yo****ya? And why it's censored?" He asked with a serious face.
"You****ya is like odd jobs or short name for 'everything job' but don't mind it, it's just a term from my world. Some other time. It's off story talk. Let's continue with topic for now?" I said.
"You are really weird. But anyways, we need to get stronger. Let's start by visiting capital city's guild and library." he replied.
"Yosh! Now you're talking!" As I punch my fist in the air because of excitement.
"But before we go, first I shall teach you the basics of magic." Alec prompted.
"Yes sir!" I replied mimicking a soldier. Then it crossed my mind, Alec said he should be 17. Does that mean he is mentally a 17 year old boy in a 14 year old body?
"Hey Alec, you are mentally 17 right?"
"According to human age, yes. Why do you ask? Oh and how old are you by the way?" He asks for my age.
"I see. Well nothing just being curious and I am 17 years old as well. Anyways let's get some action started!" And then we head out in the open and started my first training for magic with Alec teaching me the basics.

Abandoned by his abusive father at the far reaches of the world, Daegan may not have the powers of his ancestors but he refuses to die in banishment. Will he make it back home in time to prevent a brewing war? ------------------- This is a gritty drama-driven, rambling tale that presents mysteries early on that the characters work to unravel throughout the story. It swings between action, drama, and sometimes some darker comedy. Warning: A whole lot of profanity, alcohol, drugs, implied violence, actual violence and mega-violence—the kind that involves knives sliding into eye sockets and brains spilling onto floors—the usual stuff, scenes of intimacy, mercenaries, pirates, lots of moral ambiguity, including a wizard that likes to make tea with the heat sucked from his victim's bodies and a heap of world-ending monsters ready to eat people. _______________ Expectations: Updates every Monday and Thursday. Chapters will be between 2,000 and 5,000 words. I'm Irish and write in "Irish English" which is to say that I don't use much of the letter "z"

Unspoken is a book filled with poems and songs I've made throughout my life. Each chapter will be either a song or poem.
