《Demonic Descent》Chapter: 8 New Beginning

In the dilapidated throne room, Kael felt intense pain and a sense of loss when he heard Adone's voice in his head "MY BLOOD WILL REMEMBER THIS BETRAYAL. NOW LET'S DIE TOGETHER"
Kael felt a lot of foreign memories that were not his, appearing out of nowhere in his head, he knew that these were the Bloodline memories of Adone, who just passed away.
He felt a sense of loss as if he had lost someone close to him at the same time he was angry at the perpetrators of this incident.
Kael also became aware of the circumstances of Adone's death upon slowly analyzing his memories.
As well as the fact that though Adone was seriously injured by Dylin, it was the act of separating a large amount of Blood essence for Kael that weakened him so much that he was easily killed by two Devil Masters that were on the same level of cultivation as Adone.
The reason for such actions was because Adone did not wish to see the sacrifice of his entire empire would go to waste or with the resources of the whole empire at his disposal, he could easily return to his peak form by utilizing, his devouring ability of Chaos demons.
Kale then tried to analyze more memories that appeared but he felt a throbbing pain in his head when he tried to know more than that, so he was forced to stop.
As time passed quickly, the day when Kael's body was completely reconstructed finally came.
Kael was thinking about his parents when he lost his sense of sight and hearing abruptly at the same time he felt was a cold, an intense cold as if he was submerged in freezing river water.
After some time, he gained his sense of hearing as he heard the sound of whistling above him. So tried to move his body towards the sound but found that the movement of his body was restricted by something.

He tried to force his way through the material that was restricting him with all his might before he managed to open a small hole above him with his hands, from which light came down illuminating his surroundings.
"What the fuck!" That was all Kael could say as he peeked outside from the hole.
The wind was whistling loudly around the hole as it harshly pelted the surroundings with thick, white snow. This site could be considered cool for those who lived in the tropics, but for Kael, this was his graveyard.
With his eyes open, Kael could see only thick piles of snow around him as well as above him, and to his dismay, the height of these snow piles only continued to increase as time went on.
This sight managed to shake off Kael's happiness of finally being able to move, as he began to feel scared for his life.
"Damn it! It's too cold here," Kael growled as he forced himself up from his icy grave through the hole after widening it a bit.
But just as he managed to pull himself out of his snow grave, he saw the surrounding area that was a snow laden land with tall mountains all around him.
"From the looks of it, there is no way that I can get out of this area all alone without someone to help me," Kael thought to himself as he let out a cold sigh.
At this point, Kael knew that there was no way out for him without a guide or GPS.
"Grouwl…" Kael held his stomach that was showing his resistance due to hunger.
"I need to find something to eat before trying to get out of here or I will collapse from hunger" he thought to himself as he looked down at his own body which was covered in ragged clothes caked in his own blood, the color of skin on both of his hands had turned red just like Alexander's which shocked him to his very core.

"Paff, paff."
But before Kael could get used to the fact that his skin was red and maybe there were horns on his head as well, he suddenly heard the sound of footsteps on the snow.
This surprised Kael so much that he was unable to react in time, so he looked toward the source of the sound, and what he saw made him scared.
He saw an armed guard walking towards him, even if his surroundings were covered by white snow, Kael could still clearly see the guard from a distance of around 300 meters in a snowstorm as well hear his footsteps.
"He's from Hammer Pharmaceuticals" Kael was sure of himself as he spent months in there 'care', so he tried to hide but before he could find a place to hide in this white expanse, he suddenly heard a scream.
"Monster!" the guard stood in a daze but he soon reacted like a trained professional by aiming his hand gun at Kael.
Kael's eyes opened wide with shock as he realized that it was the guard who was about to shoot him, so he tried to snatch the gun from the guard, after rushing up to him.
{WARNING: GORY SCENE AHEAD, SOFT HEARTS SHOULD SKIP A LINE}
Instead of snatching the gun from his hands, he ripped out the guard's hands along with the hand gun.
"Ahhhh…." The guard wailed like a slaughtered pig.
"I am so sorry, I just wanted to snatch your gun that you were aiming at me. I didn't know it would result in this. Let me help you, stop the bleeding" Kael panicked first then he tried to help the guard but just as he took a step towards the guard, he started to shout.
"MONSTER!!! SOMEONE SAVE ME…"
"Don't worry, I only want to HELP you" Kael emphasized on word help as he tried to stop the man from shouting as it would attract more guards from Hammer Pharmaceuticals who would mistake him for a monster or if they find out his identity they may capture him for new 'sessions'.
"NO… NO… DON'T COME NEAR ME!!!" the guard screamed as he backed away.
{WARNING: GORY SCENE AHEAD, SOFT HEARTS SHOULD SKIP TWO LINES}
Hearing him scream even louder, Kael tried to cover his mouth, but just as Kael put his hand on the guard's mouth.
"Crack" the mouth caved in, like a molten wax sculpture killing him on the spot
┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵ ┻━┻
Upon seeing the gruesome scene of the brutally mangled face and ripped limbs, Kael wanted to throw up but fortunately, he was too hungry to do that.
Just then a warm current came from his hand, before dividing into two streams of warm current, one traveled towards his chest while the other towards his head.
He heard a sound in his head as the warm current reached his head and something appeared in his vision.

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews.
