As Esnar went to sleep he found himself in darkness. It was a familiar place where his master Silvia taught him about the reality he is living in.

He learned that the world they are living in is just one low-class dimension from millions of dimensions.

This one had no special traits or importance. It was just made on a whim of a god, who later left it when they got bored of it.

Now it was a godless world that was controlled by whoever wanted to have fun with it.

Lately, strange phenomenons happened all around the world. A few people got so powerful that they got close to ascend and become gods until one of the few guardians showed up. They wanted to balance the world out and make it more stable.

This time around a strange thing happened. In his dreams, Esnar met up with a woman who called themselves a goddess and wanted him to learn from her.

After trying out her suggestions he learned that she wasn't lying and he decided to follow her.

For years he has been learning under her and managed to pass tests that should've been impossible even by his friend Tobald, but his master helped him through every one of them.

While he was lost in thought Silvia appeared in front of Esnar. He wasn't surprised as it was a common occurrence at this point.

"Master! Have you come here to teach me again?"

She smiled at him.

"Child, there is a bigger reason why I came here. The age you are living is coming to an end. I have prepared your final test."

"Really? This is the last one? But you said I'm not ready for it!"

She didn't say anything, just waved at him and started to walk forward towards a spot of light in the distance.

"I'm sure you've noticed, but many things are wrong in your world. I've come up with a plan to fix it and you'll be helping me. Do you understand?"

He gulped.

"Yes."

"Good."

They appeared in a white room with a giant mana crystal in it.

"The energy storage of our empire!"

"Yes."

Silvia stood next to it and touched it.

"You'll have to go up to it and absorb it. It is your final test. Should you fail, you will die. If you succeed... You'll see!"

"Master are you..."

He couldn't finish the sentence as he woke up in his bed.

'I have to try it. I know that she does not have any malicious intent...'

As the second leader in the country, he got access to the crystal easily.

After absorbing all the mana his body exploded and the whole castle blew up with him only leaving a few lucky survivors and the shocked Tobald.

As he came to his senses he could see the whole world and everyone on it at once. He did not have a body anymore.

He was confused and felt as if all the pain and happiness in the world were his at once. It made him sick and he only got calm when Silvia appeared in front of him once again.
