After speaking with Roland for an hour, they discussed everything they needed.
They made a contract that contained that they have to explore the dungeon and get rewards depending on the results. Also Roland agreed to the terms that he will search for the person in the jail and if they have made "ground breaking" discovery, or explore the whole place, he will make it sure that he will be released.
The terms weren't easy, or something that can be done fast. Given that the place is around two weeks away and it is basically a death trap. Maria also got invited to this exploration, but she had other plans, so she did not come. Although Leonard will be at the location, but he is not an adventurer, so he won't join them. So far it is the two of them, who will be going down into the city.
They spent the rest of the day buying usefull stuffs for the journey. Food, gears, clothes etc. Then went back to the Drunken Dwarf and spent the rest of the day drinking and speaking with other patrons.
Next day in the morning a carriage was waiting them in the front of the inn. They get on and started the travel.
They started to go to the north first along the long road. After 5 days of travel they turned to west and went off the roads. It took 6 more days to reach the excavation site.
They looked out of the carriage and in the falling snow they saw the place, which was a big hole dig into the ground, with a tower in the middle, which's top was just above ground height. Next to the hole more than ten tents were set up and they were big enough for a few dozen people to stay in them.

Near them on the snowy ground they saw bonfires and people sitting around them. They were taking eating, drinking and having fun.
Thankfully Catherine and Joseph packed warm clothes, because it was freezing around here. This was very unusual, because in Krishmar it was still early fall and it wasn't that cold. The only reason they brought these clothes, because Roland said that it is freezing around the excavation site, but they don't know the reason why.
They got closer to the tents and stopped next to the biggest one. Everyone was looking them leaving the carriage and enter the tent.
