The man was in a butler uniform and had an emblem of the phoenix family on his suit. His clean shaved had shone in the morning light as he was sitting next to one of the windows in the main hall of the building. The owner of the house was sitting in front of him on the other side of a table and was talking with him.
When they saw Joseph and Catherine, the owner stood up said his goodbye to the butler then walked to them.
"Good morning! I hope you had a pleasent night."
Joseph smiled at him. Kristian, the owner of the house was a really nice man, who always greeted them with a smile. He was always wearing nice clothes, which highlighted his long brown hair.
Joseph shook his hand as he got close to them.
"Yes it was a good night!"
"It is good to hear!"
He turned towards the man sitting at the table.
"This man is Jordan. He is one of the butlers of the Phoenix family. He wanted to speak with you two."
"I see. We will speak with him then!"
They walked to the man, who stood up and bowed to them.
"It is nice to meet you Catherine and Joseph. I'm Jorden, butler of the Phoenix family."
They smiled at his formal behaviour.
"Nice to meet you Jordan!"
"Same!"
They all sit down at the table. Kristian brang them tea while the butler was speaking.
"Tomorrow there will be a party at the summer house of the family and Mr. Roland has sent me to give you both an invitation and speak about what kind of party it is."
He gave them a card, on it was a written invitation to the party, the date and hour.

Also he explained that it is going to be a masked party. It is made to welcome the house leader's son's homecoming. They have to wear proper clothes and find a mask that they want to wear.
Joseph had a few questions to him, because he found this whole deal strange.
"If you don't mind, would you tell us, why are we invited?"
"Mr. Roland didn't say the reason, but you can ask him at the event."
"Also, how did you know we are here?"
Jordan laughed.
"This place is exquisite. Only people who are acknowledged by the big families are able to enter. Also the guards check and report everyone. This way there are no people who make problems in here."
Joseph was amazed by how guarded this place was.
"Then was it the Phoenix family's work, that we could come here?"
"Yes. Mr. Roland said that you served him well with one job you have done. He is a man who is very honest and gratefull. But be aware! If you do not do anything that would make him angry!"
Catherine was on guard after he said that.
"Is that a threat?"
The butler laughed.
"Of course not! It is my personal advice!"
He took out a pocket watch.
"It looks like I ran out of time. I have to go back to do my chores. It was nice to meet you all."
He bowed and left the building.
"What a strange man..."
