Joseph was grinning at Catherine in a weird way. She pulled out her staff and held it in front of her.
"Come get me!"
He jumped at her, but she hit him with the staff and he flew back. The hit hurt Joseph like it hit him in the inside of his body. He got confused and couldn't see well. But his body stood up and pulled out his sword. He charged at her and tried to strike her with it, but it went through Catherine, like she wasn't there.
He felt a hit in his back and fell on the ground. The one in front of him was an illusion and the real one was behind him.
As soon as he tried to stand up, Catherine hit his back again. He stopped moving on himself and got back the controll and turned to her as she was trying to hit him again.
"Wait! I'm back!"
She hit him sooner, then she realized what he said. Joseph went down on the ground again. Catherine pulled back her staff.
"OH! I'm sorry!"
Joseph moaned while he stood up.
"That hurt. What did you do?"
"I messed up your core temporary."
"Oh."
As he got a little bit more relaxed he noticed that his core wasn't working.
"How long does it stay like that?"
"Until you try to fix it. It will take a while, but still better then killing you."
"So this thing posess peoples core?"
"Seems like it. It's gonna be problematic to get it out."
"How did you know what was happening?"
"I saw the disturbance in the mana center of the other guy, that's why I suspected it. Then it posessed you and your core looked the same. I was sure after that."

Joseph touched his chest and then used a skill to see his core. It was really messed up. It looked like a spiky ball instead of a normal blue orb.
"I see. Now I have to get rid of this thing."
"Oh? You know how to?"
"I have an idea, but I'll need time."
"That is not a problem. Can you do it here?"
"I think."
He sit down and opened his stats.

He looked it through and touched the state.

'This is messed up. What is going on?'
He looked around. Catherine and Maria were watching him sitting in one place looking in the air.
'I must look strange. Whatever.'
He closed his eyes and concentrated his mind on his core. He felt his concious falling as he tried to cut the wrong part off of it with the mana inside of it. He tried to use the mana without extracting it into his body, but it was hard.
It took him more then an hour to get all of the parts off from his core into a separated part. As he finished he opened his eyes and looked at the girls. They were standing next to the chalice and speaking.

Catherine just finished explaining something to Maria as he walked up to them.
"I'm done."
Catherine looked at him.
"You say you're done, but what do you want to do with it? It's still in you."
Joseph laughed embarrassed.
"I want to return it to the other body, after we chain that up."
Catherine shrugged, but Maria wasn't fine with the idea.
"You want that murderous thing to walk around here?"
"No. I want to put it into that body and destroy it. It is a lot safer, then destroying it in my body."
"Oh. I see."
Joseph shifted his eyes to the water.
"Anyway. What is this thing?"
Maria smiled at him.
"It is a blessed water used for different religious activities. Though it is not blessed by Esnar, but something darker entity. All the symbols around here point at something ancient and dark creature that the people living here dietified."
"And what was that thing?"
Catherine shook her head.
"I think we already met it. It was a mana being, that possesed different people, but for some reason got out of control and started to masacre them."
"I see. Then should we finish it of?"
"Yes."
Catherine and Joseph walked to the body that she throw in the circle she made. She leaned down and put her hand on the edge of the circle.
"I'll destroy it as soon as you put it back in it's body."
"Alright!"
He controlled his mana out of the core, encircled the being and shot it into the other body.
"Now!"
She filled the circle up with mana and as the body tried to stand up it dissolved in the air.
"It is done."
They sit down next to one of the pillars.
"We need to take a rest. Maria would you go out and speak with the others that we'll come out a little bit later?"
"Yes. I'll be back as soon as possible."
"Ok."
She walked up the stairs and they started to meditate. Joseph restored his core, while Catherine was resting and restoring her mana.

The Girl Named Rino
Oh. Hello. I didn't see you come in. No, don't worry. I don't need to hear your name. I already know what it is. I also knew that you'd come up at around this time. But, at the same time, I also didn't know. It's very hard to put into words - but that's what happens when you become the Chaos God. Your psyche gets messed up, big time. That's even more so for me, who was already warped enough to confuse reality with imagination - and, even make the rest of the universe believe that it was so. But, enough about me. Let's talk about you. You seem to come from a very far away land. It's faint, but your presence is there - in a relatively primitive planet. No wonder, no one wanted to stay in, or conquer your region of the universe - there's nothing worth controlling there. Your existence, much like your entire solar system, also seems to be pretty insignificant. Tell me, is your race capable of destroying your own world? Oh, you're already well along the way? Global Warming? Pollution? Overpopulation? Nuclear weapons? Wow... it's been many millenia since I'd last heard of such ancient concepts from someone who is actually living through it. Still, good job getting that far. That means that your world is now, at least, worth considering as a possible place to install a World System. If I find the time, I'll try surveying it. You can just thank me, later. Oh wait! What kind of person am I, not even offering my guest any hospitality. I'm ashamed. Please, take a seat. What would you like? I have everything the multiverse has to offer, whatever it is you want - I can get. Ah! After we talk, would you mind, if I asked you to do me a tiny favor? There's this girl, I want to keep tabs on. She's in one of the Worlds that I preside over, it's called Aiarthe. But, for some reason, I can't see her - not directly, at least. All I need you to do, is check up on her from time to time. Whether you do it as a pure spectator or through someone else's eyes, is entirely up to you. Really!? You would!? Wow! Thanks! You really did me, a huge solid there! For agreeing so quickly, how about I get started on surveying that planet of yours, right now!? You can help yourself, to anything in the fridge! Well, see ya!
