《Emperor Of The North [Dropped]》Chapter 28: Poor Alexandros.

After a short run, we managed to reach the stairs leading to the second floor.
Only a tiny percent of our raid group survived through here. People either died because of the Alexandros or the falling boulders.
"Sir, your orders." Knights approached Arthur. Only three Knights survived, but it is good to see them still staying loyal to their leader and not panicking.
That will drastically increase our chances of survival.
Arthur steeps forward. "Now, I want to learn every bit of supplies we have. Everyone give me a report."
"Two canteens of water, one with medicinal herbs, three bombs, some dried meat. I don't carry much." I said first.
"Four magical scrolls, one with healing, one with shield, and other two with fire magic in it, two small mana potions, some hard biscuit, and water." A girl who's looking like a magician talked.
I guess she is one of the heroes.
"Food, water, three heath potions." Another hero added.
"Food, water, torches. Most of our supply left on the camp." A knight talked for both himself and his other two friends.
"Other than my sword, I left everything on the camp." Achi shout.
Even in a situation like this, he still has a smile of a moron. I don't know if it is a bad thing or not.
"Even your id!" Victoria shouts at Achi. "It is the fourth time you lost your id! "
I began to understand their relationship.
"Back to my resources. I have some medical supplies, potions, a heal scroll, a flashlight made by shiny crystals, various kinds of food, and water." She is too prepared, I am happy about it, but it is too much.
"And you managed to fit all of these things into the small bag of yours?" I said.
"No, it is a magical item. It is way bigger inside!" She answered me.
"Good, good." Arthur sighed. "Other than some of us being too childish in a situation like this, we are prepared good enough. Now, where is the fifth hero?"
"Fifth hero?" I asked. "I only saw four at the entrance."
"That's because I didn't want you to see me." A short kid wearing a black rob jumped down from the ceiling. He took a stance and tried to act cool.
I am questioning God's choices of heroes.
"You can see the lord of darkness if only he wants it." He said.
I am not questioning God's decision. I am finding it utterly stupid.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
There isn't much on this floor, only a long corridor. We are directly going to the boss room.
"This dungeon has more floors, but we only need to defeat the second floors boss to open the first exit but be careful. Other than the first floor, we didn't scout it properly. You can never be sure what will try to kill you next."

A large double door with carvings of spiders on it appeared at the end of the corridor.
Arthur warned everyone before we entered the boss room.
My danger sense is tingling like crazy. Something is wrong with this place.
"Danger alert! Your party is between two different powerful creatures." Voice alerted.
That could only mean one thing. Alexandros is after us.
I hope we managed to kill the floor boss before he reaches us.
"Open the gates!" Arthur shout.
Knights began to push the door.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The door closed after everyone got inside.
This room is much bigger than the area we waited at on the first floor. There are several pillars around, and inside feels like an arena where ancient Romans throw gladiators.
Yellow crystals spread across the place illuminates inside.
Skull carvings decorate the walls, and the ground is flat like someone purposely made it this way.
"Boss battle will start in ten second's" A voice echoed inside.
"Everyone, be ready." Artur raised his sword to the air.
Arthur's sword began to shine. I believe he prepares a ranged attack. I wonder if there is a need for bows in this world.
"Floor boss, gladiator released." The same voice talked once again.
A wall collapsed, and a three meters long humanoid rat giant wearing gladiator armor jumped out.
"Rattoid gladiator. Floor boss. It has the strength of an ogre and the agility of a man. Be careful about his as it still can use as a weapon. It has a weakness against fire."
I wonder how my guide is working, sometimes it gives every detail, and sometimes it says certain things and shuts ups. Still better than nothing.
"Hey, Arthur. Isn't that a spider dungeon? Why are we fighting against a rat?" I asked.
"I don't know." He said. "Somethings wrong about this dungeon. I want everyone to be extra careful!"
The rat pulled out a large morning star from his back. It has a cracked human skull on the tip of its handle.
Arthur unleashed a light beam from his sword. The magical projectile hit the rat and caused a wound.
The monster hissed and took a step back.
Smaller rattoids began to jump out from the place where the boss came out. Every single one of them is carrying weapons.
"Crimson blade," I whispered to my sword. "I am going to kill all of you."
Arthur dashed towards the boss and jumped into the air. His sword is still shining, he swung his weapon towards the boss, and their weapons clashed in the air.
Arthur is doing a great job at handling the boss alone. I can deal with the smaller rats without worrying about the big guy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Close, they are close. I can sense it!" Deformed Alexandros said.
"You will die in my hands. Everyone will die!" He screamed.
His body turned into an abomination of burned flesh and bones, but he is agile as before.
His is face looks like molten plastic, almost unrecognizable.
Poor soul, but why did he burn himself. Couldn't he choose a better way? Who knows.
He reached the door and rushed inside. People are fighting against different monsters.
A strong sword user is pressuring the boss and cornering it, and there is also a girl who constantly damages the boss from far with her spells.
Alexandros waited a bit. His body calculated the possible outcome of a fight, then he raised his sword into the air and screamed. "Your doom arrived!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I just raised my hopes.
Alexandros directed his sword towards me and shot a beam of fire.
I dodged the incoming attack, but the heat from it was incredibly high.
Arthur is busy with the boss, and no one is protecting the heroes, which means men sent by Lady will try their chances right now.
"Crimson Sword." Time didn't slow down because of Alexandros, but I was still fast enough to spot every traitor.
I a fire attack coming from him and managed to hit one of his legs with my sword.
I dashed and stabbed them from the back before they did and killed them all.
"Thankfully, there weren't many of you, now back to the main course."
I turned towards Alexandros and dashed towards him. I will not try to kill him but rather immobilize him much as I can by attacking his legs and arms.
"Fool!" Alexandros shouted as he sent another fire beam towards me.
Once again, I barely managed to dodge the incoming attack, but I was close enough for him to attack me.
He screamed and began to swing his sword towards me like a mad man.
None of his attacks are accurate, but they are coming soo often I barely managed to block some of them.
My sword is screaming in pain. At least I can hear that from the sound coming from clashing irons.
Trying to block all of his attacks will be stupid. I should use a bet-
"Boulder!!!" An enormous piece of rock hit the ground just next to me.
Shock waves affected me, and I lost my vision and hearing for a second, which allowed Alexandros to hit me.
His sword is very blunt, so he didn't manage to cut my flesh, but he managed to throw me far with his strength.
"Fuck." I spat to the ground and tried to get up.
The floor is collapsing, and if I don't move, the boulders will kill me before the Alexandros.
"Why is he so strong," I shout. "Voice, I need a bit of help!"
Details about Alexandros appeared in front of me. "Something quite new and interesting." But one thing took my interest more than my new ability.
"Flesh Abomination Of The Dark Seal. Rare Undead Monster."
So, that means I have an advantage over him! "Voice, how can I do the control undead stuff. Tell me and be quick."
"One's obtained Lich skills: Control Undead, Punish Undead, Hierarchy. The guide recommends the usage of Punish and Control Undead in this situation. Warrant! Usage of Lich skills can be dangerous as other people may see you as a threat."
I wonder what that Hierarchy skill does, but I can learn it later.
I looked towards Victoria. "Please don't say none of the things you see to anyone."
She nodded.
I raised one of my hands. "Punish Undead."
Purple flames circled the Abomination once called Alexandros, and he began screaming in pain.
Purple flames are tearing the remaining skin apart from his body, but he can't even move an inch.
"Enough!" Alexandros shouted and raised his sword to the air, then began to charge towards me.
As he almost slashed his sword, I raised my other hand to the air. "Control Undead."
I can't control my body, and my mana is draining at insane speeds, but I managed to stop Alexandros from moving.
I turned my head to the back. Victoria is still there. That's probably because boulders already closed our exit.
"Thank you for handling him." With a sudden burst of light, Arthur jumped into the fight.
He dashed towards the Alexandros, cut his throat with a quick slash, and jumped back towards us.
Alexandros didn't scream or do anything over than cry, and before he collapsed to the ground, we heard a whimper. "Thank you."
I looked towards Arthur to thank him but found a completely different look in his eyes.
"No need for thanks, but you will tell me certain things when we get outside."
Arthur raised his sword to the air and hit my head with its pommel.
That was the last thing I saw before, I faint.
