[You are affected by Low Grade Gravity Field]
[Decrease movement speed by 20%]
[You are experiencing Mind Distortion effects]
[Attempting to resist…]
[Target Int status is not high enough]
[Mind Distortion effect nullified]
The slumping Hao Xu turned toward the other side of the window after being barraged by a window of notification.
“Moriarty!” Hao Xu almost slipped on the smooth floor as he was caught off-guard. At this point, Hao Xu was severely injured from the previous engagement with the researcher, and guard, with the effects of the Gravity Field, he was incapable of reacting in time.
“Interesting. You can resist my Mind Psychic Ability. 01, you still have your memory, that means the experiment is a success.” Moriarty narrow his eyes, gazing Hao Xu top to bottom.
Thump!
Moriarty drew his hand upwards, unleashing another field of gravity. This caused a small dent on the floor to appear along with the sounds of breaking glasses.
As if the stinging pain was not enough, Hao Xu felt like the blood bleeding through his skin is being pressed backward.
[You are affected by Low Grade Gravity Field]
[Decrease movement speed by 30%]
Hao Xu ignored the notification flashing before his eyes and aimed his gun at Moriarty.
From Moriarty perspective, Hao Xu movement was incredibly slow, as if he was witnessing a slow motion capture of Hao Xu movement.
But for that split second, Hao Xu movement sped up in an instant.
[Focus Shot — 30 Energy]
“Y-You’re not a normal Grade D! You’re a stellar grade D!” Moriarty stammers as he experiences Hao Xu sudden strength, yet at the same time, Hao Xu could hear the crazed and excitement through his tone.
A gush of wind swirl around the bullet, leaving behind a trail that resemble that of a fading comet as the concentrated current of air embrace the piece of metal, relentless as it chases forth like crazed.

Hao Xu bears no hesitation and distant himself from the jawing Moriarty.
Meanwhile, the guard on standby took aim at him again. Unfortunately, Hao Xu was much faster.
Bang! Bang!
With the help of [Weaponry Efficiency], the accuracy of his bullet couldn’t miss such easy target, The guard stood no chance.
“I need to avoid fighting Moriarty as much as possible, he’s too dangerous with that Gravity Field.” Hao Xu was running through the hallway toward the door after escaping from Moriarty grasp. After fighting for some time, he gradually became familiar with [Weaponry Efficiency].
The Gravity Field truly frightened him. It was an area of effect abilities, once caught, it was difficult to escape from. The only reason he was able to escape was a small gap of opportunity that he created when he suddenly input max energy into [Focus Shot], which momentarily startled Moriarty, letting him escape.
Moreover, these are not ordinary people, but people with special abilities!
Hao Xu silently asked what kind of place he was sent to. The prospect of his future seems to look bleak from here.
As for Moriarty, There’s no chance he would die to that bullet. He wasn’t sure yet, but the bullet shot by him was affected by his [Energy], which is most likely the reason Moriarty was shocked.
Hao Xu ran to the door, disregarding the rattling researcher and personnel that was inside each room he passed by.
The siren ring throughout the base. Hao Xu expression sunk further, accompany by a wave of headache and dizziness upon seeing a batch of soldier stationed at the entrance.
“Shoot him down! Shoot him down!” One of the masked soldiers sent an order frantically.
Bum! Bum! Bum!
A storm of bullets hurls toward Hao Xu direction.
He nimbly tumbles toward one of the room on the side.

Inside the room, Hao Xu spotted two cornering researchers in the corner, with a test subject strapped onto the chair.
Bang!
He pulled the trigger mercilessly, putting an end to the life of the test subject laying stiff on the table. Hao Xu hand feels stiffened, but looking at the smile on the face of the dead boy on the table, he jolt himself awake.
“G-General! Spare our lives!”
The researcher nearby had no time to react, with the sudden barrage of bullets, they face death.
At that point, the command already came through. The general commanding his soldiers already pulled the trigger.
Of the dozens' soldiers, only few were alive. Meanwhile, the remaining researcher couldn’t make out head or tails of the situation as they frantically storm around.
[Killed Grade F Researcher. +15 Exp]
[Killed Grade F Researcher. +15 Exp]
[Killed Grade D Guards. +50 Exp]
[Killed Grade D Guards..]
[Killed Grade D..]
Hao Xu leaned against the wall as he check his interface.
“Each level cost me roughly 80 Exp. If I spend all my exp at once and level up, I might have a better chance.” The pistol in his hand already ran out of ammo. Thanks to another pistol dropped from the guard, he was able to continue moving.
[Health: 30/102]
[Energy: 62/106]
Hao Xu adjust his mind. The only way to break away from this encirclement is brute force, with his current ability, it’s difficult but possible. Since Exp are useless once he’s dead, Hao Xu already made his decision.
[Level 10 — +10 Attribute Points. + 3 Ability Points]
[Level 11 — +10 Attribute Points. + 3 Ability Points]
[Level 12 — +10 Attribute Points. + 3 Abili...]
[Level 13 — +10 Attribute Points….]

[Attributes: 12 Strength — 30 (+3.6) Dexterity — 21 Agility — 19 Int]
Blood seeped from his wound and sweat dripped down his forehead. Hao Xu felt a dull pain, but it was surely numbed by the adrenaline pumping through his veins. With the sudden increase in attributes, he was now experiencing a huge change to his body.
It was clear to him that this was going to be a difficult process, but he was absolutely determined to not let this pain overtook him.
After a few seconds, the pain subside like falling tides. Hao Xu felt refreshed throughout his body. The wound on his left shoulder stopped bleeding completely, even the chest pain from running for too long eased down.
An overwhelming amount of strength circulate through his body, like a metamorphosis from one qualitative state to another. He held his fingers against his temples and gently massaged them, before finally gripping a pistol in each palm.
