This is a Glossary of terms or ideas that will be updated as the story goes along.

Ranks:

Power is categorized into 10 ranks and every 10 levels a player can increase their power by one of these ranks

The ranks are Black Iron, Green, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Purple, Emperor, Valkyrie, Saint, Divine, and finally God.

The ore ranks are Copper, Tin, Bronze, Iron, Steel, Mithril, Adamantium, Orichalcum, Cold Iron, and Star metal or Meteoric Iron.

Though the ore ranks correspond to the power rank, bosses in a certain power rank may drop gear that isn't of these materials but is of the same rank.

Skill ranks go from D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS. Though some E or even F skills may exist if someone manages to create such a crappy skill, but standard skills from trainers start at level 10 and thus are at least D rank. Skills cannot have their rank increased without remaking the skill and evolving it like the MC did with the Flight skill. Most skills can have this done but our MC is stupid and won't realize this until either much later or never at all. Our MC will generally create new skills as he reinvents the wheel instead of smoothing the edges.

Also note that Qi increases by a factor of 10 per rank. If a level 1 who uses qi would normally do 10 dmg, might do 11 with qi but the same person at level 10 that would do 100 dmg without qi would do 110 dmg with qi instead of 101 or 102. This probably will not come into the story as plot but is there in the numbers behind the blue screens so this isn't a spoiler even now. However Qi amount increases every level, only Qi quality increases every 10, and only effects skills as they level up so even if a level 90 gets a new skill, at level 1 the quality will be that of a level 1-9. This follows the concept of purified Qi doing more damage or being more effective than regular Qi even though the amount stays the same.

Pets

Pets use the same tier system as most things with black iron being the weakest and God being the strongest. All pets have different growth rates per level and different abilities but none will be revealed unless the MC finds out about it in order to keep the first person perspective real!
