Hunter:

Hunter dragged the man across the path of the village, he reveled in the screams of the wife and children that the man had to kill, changing the man into a brainless maddened war tool. Hunter watched the man as he ripped his own children into sections while his wife whimpered in terror. Gruesome but entertaining, the man hugged the wife with tears streaming down his face as he apologized over and over to her, that is before he butchered her and ate her alive, his face carved into a permanent crazed grin.

“Watching the show?” Bassa was beside him, a low growl rumbled formed from Bassa “Always relaxing isn’t it?”

“Shut it” Hunter didn’t realise he was crying, but why was he crying? There was no reason for him to cry, confused he sat down on the ledge of the house that he pulled the man from, He groaned as the voices started to fill his head.

“More…..Kill more….”

“Take over….Control all that stands in your way”

“Satiate the hunger….Satiate our longing….”

“There is nothing wrong….It is meant to be ”

“SHUT UP” Hunter yelled as he tried to force the voices silence, the voices quieted down but didn’t leave him in complete silence, Hunter was starting to worry for the first time since his return to Alagadda, the voice were completely new and the emotions he felt when he killed scared him. He was afraid of what he was becoming, what was happening to his thoughts? Why didn’t it feel like he was in control of his thoughts anymore? Beads of sweat dripped down his face.

“Hunter…” Bassa let out a low growl, Hunter raised his head, the townsmen had started to surround Hunter each armed with weapons of all sorts, some armed with pitchforks while others armed with swords, Hunter felt anger, what didn’t these people understand? He was helping them, he was the savior freeing them from the wretched place that his brothers and sisters had created.

“Listen to me..” Hunter reached his hands as tears streamed down his face, he did not want innocent people to die “I am trying to help you..”

“You killed a family, we all watched you!” A man in the crowd threw a rock at Hunter, the group shouted in agreement “Your nothing but a murderer”

“Please.” Hunter was desperate as the voices in his head start to grow louder and louder “Let me help you”

“To hell with you!” The crowd shouted, pelting Hunter with rocks.

Hunter felt tired he wasn’t going to allow them to waste away at their lives slaving for corrupt people. He licked the blood that had started to trickle down his face, they saw him as the bad guy? Then let it be, he’ll show them bad. Bassa started to sneer as if reading Hunter's thoughts.

“Act two?” Bassa licked his lips as he vigorously rubbed his hands together

“Your will has been understood, you want bad? Then that's what you get” Hunter growled at the crowd the voices had started becoming Hunter's thoughts, their bloodlust was his, their hatred had enraptured Hunter’s decision. “Let the rivers cry blood!”

“Hehehehehehe” Bassa had started giggling furiously as rain started pouring down, the crowd had started panicking, not because of how drenched they were, but of how the rain was similar to blood. Bassa cooed into the ears of the nearby “Drink little lambs, drink your fill”

Slowly as they got more drenched they changed, each person trying to taste the liquid even more, licking doors, pitchforks, and even their licking each other to drink the liquid. Until suddenly the raining stopped and the crowd started becoming even more frenzied.

“WHERE DID IT GO?”

“LET US HAVE MORE”

Hunter pointed at the corpse of the woman and girl that had been killed by his new minion, everyone in the crowd jumped on the corpses drinking every sip of blood they could get to, they started ripping at each other becoming more hungry for the taste as they tore each other open. Hunter stared at the pile of corpses that was left behind by the act, his eyes watered as he prayed to the heavenly ones for a better life of the one, He had freed another village from the prison of life yet he still had so many left to free. He stood and watched as the sun set, as he packed getting ready for the next trip to the border he realised that time was not on his side, it was time to get the head of his first brother, now or never.
