《Round Two》Chapter 32 - Bleeding Out

“Aren't you going to have a drink Leo?” Su Sheng asks as he takes a gulp from his cup.
Leo shakes his head. “Nah, I'm on duty today. It's Sal's turn to get hammered.” He says as he takes out his pack of cigarettes. Suddenly, Leo freezes. Damn. Why do I keep brining this around? He asks, slightly mad at himself. Leo stands up and finds a garbage can before throwing the cigarettes away and walking back to sit.
“I'm going to take a leak. Keep the girls company.” Su Sheng says before getting up.
“Yeah, yeah.” Leo says as he waves his hand and leans back on the couch.
Su Sheng stands up and smiles before walking away. Hmm. Sal would have followed. Awesome. He thinks as he walks further away.
A long-haired brunette lady, dressed casually, takes a deep puff off her cigarette and exhales a cloud of smoke onto Leo’s face.
Sal takes the moment to breathe in that intoxicating smell.
The lady smiles. “You’re a freak, huh?” She says casually.
Leo couldn’t help but laugh. “Yeah. Yeah, I’m a freak.” He says as he continues to chuckle.
The lady scoots closer to Leo, much closer. She smiles as she looks at him and puts a hand on Leo’s arm. “Good. I like that.” She says enticingly before taking another drag from her cigarette.
Leo feels his pants stir and he clears his throat. “Do you want a drink? On me.” He says as he hurriedly stands up.
The lady looks at the tent that was at face-level before looking up at Leo and letting out a smirk. “Are you sure you don’t want to stay? We can find somewhere more private?” She says as she caresses Leo’s arm.

Leo lets out a hot breath and feeling himself losing control, he leans down to speak into the lady’s ear. “I’m going to get a drink. Maybe I’ll cool down, maybe I won’t. But please keep pushing. I’d love to tip over.” He says before instinctively pressing his lips onto the lady’s earlobe.
Leo quickly stands up and walks away. His breath felt heavy and he desperately needed a drink, so he hurriedly starts walking to find a bartender.
As Leo continues to walk, he hears a commotion. Leo looks over and raises an eyebrow. Su Sheng? He thinks as he watches the scene.
“Look man! I’m not giving you my cell phone! Just fuck off!” He yells before pushing Su Sheng, forcing him to take a step back.
“Fuck you, man! Do you know who I am? I’m a fucking ambassador asshole!” Su Sheng yells back.
The man lets out a scoff. “Dumbass! Look around you! Half the people are somebody, or somebody’s kid! I happen to be the Prime Minister’s son; do you really want to start shit?” He says, unimpressed.
Su Sheng’s eyes widen. “Fuck, man. Why the fuck are you here on a Tuesday? Shouldn’t you be doing your homework?” He says, maybe feeling a little too brave.
The man’s eyes widen. “Alright, that’s it. You’re getting fucked tonight.” He says as he approaches, ready to take a swing.
Leo quickly steps forward. “Hey man, can we ease up?” He says as he flashes his jacket, revealing his gun.
The other guy smirks. “Connor, come take these fuckers out.” He says with a gesture.
The man standing nearby doesn’t hesitate. He quickly takes out a gun and takes a shot at Su Sheng’s leg.
***BANG***
“Fuck! Holy shit!” Su Sheng exclaims as he feels the bullet enter his leg. “Holy fucking shit! This dude actually did it! He fucking shot me!” He continues to exclaim.

Leo quickly pulls out his gun and aims it. “Alright, alright. Everyone calm down. The dude’s already shot, let’s settle this here.” He says, hoping to de-escalate.
The man called Connor looks to the young man.
The young man waves a hand. “Fuck him. Let’s dip. Remember your place bitch.” He says before walking away, followed by his entourage.
Leo lowers his gun and watches the group leave before looking to Su Sheng who was on the ground pressing a hand onto his wound. “Fuck.” Leo exclaims before bending down to have a look. “Take off your shirt.” He says.
Su Sheng continues to breathe heavily. “Fuck.” He says before taking off his shirt.
Leo takes off his belt before ripping away part of Su Sheng’s dress pants and wrapping the shirt around his leg. He ties the wound pretty tightly with his highly adjustable belt and lets out a sigh. “Alright, let’s get out of here. I’ll carry you out. Take out your phone and call Sal.” He says before picking up Su Sheng.
“Fuck. You’re going to princess carry me out of here? That’s lame.” Su Sheng says before taking out his phone.
Leo lets out a chuckle. “How ‘bout you focus on not bleeding out. We can worry about being lame later.” He says as he looks for the exit.

Luck's ideal version of a journey to another world involves many things. Find out this and much more in the first book of the Fat Boy Hero Series. -History of FBH- Fat Boy Hero is a story long in the making. The idea came from my love of hero stories, but the lack of relatable heroes. By that i mean there were no, or few heroes that dealt with weight gain. Something I have and am dealing with after leaving the Marine Corps. So Fat Boy Hero was born. Check out the link below to listen to an episode of The Round Table Podcast where I brainstormed the idea with the hosts and special guest Michael underwood. http://www.roundtablepodcast.com/2013/03/workshop-episode-53-guest-host-michael-r-underwood/ This book is a side project and will be updated as time permits. I hope you do not find this too off-putting.
