《Life Sentence》Concupiscence

JANUARY 6TH

“Hey, I was too caught up in the moment to ask but whatever happened to Illia Stellar and the professor Invention?” Alex shrewdly probed.

“Well,” Raymond started, “As far as I know, the government seized his invention and Illia was laid to rest next to her beloved just a few weeks after they found her in the pod.”

“I see,” I responded.

It was time to head back to our cells until dinner time.

“Hey,” I called out Alex.

He turned to me and with a side glance and a subtle wink I said, “Good job today.”

Suddenly blinking uncontrollably, he turned his gaze and brushed his side bangs from his face. “It was nothing.”

We went back to our cell, and I decided to take a nap. But unsurprisingly, I couldn’t sleep. At first, I thought that it was because of our impending danger looming heavy over me. But I soon found that it was something much more troubling.

((Nick… baby please… not there.))

((I can’t hold it in much longer.))

((Well, you’re just going to have to, because I’m not halfway done yet.))

*Indistinct moans*

“Ah…!” I vociferated in pain.

I felt to an area below my waist only to find a familiar yet unwelcomed liquid. A déjà vu incident of my childhood had occurred, perhaps every man’s childhood to be honest.

A wet dream… How pathetic.

But then something struck me. It wasn’t just any wet dream… it was a dream about Alex.

*Ding Ding*

The bell rung for dinner and I had to quickly change my uniform. I could hardly stop my neurotic absurdity to obsess over this matter. I have to come to a conclusion that best suits me.

It has to be because we’ve been spending too much time together. Yeah, that’s it.

I rationalized.

Well, that and the fact that I’m in prison and haven’t had a female in a long time… too long.

I got dressed, slowed my breathing and talked myself down.

It’s nothing to worry about. It’s nothing to worry about.

I slowed my breathing then opened the door.

“Ah…lex.”

“Dude, what the fuck!” He startled. “You almost scared the shit out of me. What’s with the screaming?”

I don’t know…

“Sorry about that.” I frantically replied.

“Are you all right?”

“Yes.”

No… far from it.

“Okay, let’s go to dinner then.”

And so, we proceeded to the lunchroom, side by side, as we’d been doing for the past few days. Only this time, it felt different. We got our food then sat down together. All the while my mind was in a state of mayhem.

“Dude, are you going to tell me what’s up or not?” Alex’s voice brought me back to a semi-rational mindset.

“It’s nothing.” I tried to sidestep.

“Really… then how come you have yet to look at me since you got out of your room?”

My usually tall erect posture fell somewhat short around the table as I slouched sideways on my chair. With my lips set in a grim line, I felt my brows crinkling above me in a state of dread. As I looked at his childish muscles and girlish figure, I slowly came to realize why it would be easy to set him aside from his more muscular competitions.

“Alex, have you ever had a wet dream before?”

Taken aback and quite frankly slightly disturbed by my question, he looked at me with gapped mouth stare and squinted eyes.

“Umm, yes… I think probably every guy has that right.”

“I guess.” I nodded.

“Nick, that’s what’s got you all ruffled. I mean, are you serious?”

An aggravated laugh snickered through my teeth as I found his condescending tone cheeky.

“It’s not the wet dream that I’m bothered by Idiot. It’s who was in it…”

He swallowed his rice then screwed up his face and rubbed his hand over his chin before asking, “Okay… so who did you dream about?”
