I peer down his body, "Nah, you're benched for now." "I can-" Gladius grabs at his stomach and pukes on the floor. It even gets on my shoes, ugh. "Yeah, you need rest. And a doctor." He stands, "I'll be fine. Gimme a gun." Then it hit me, out of nowhere. An idiotic move that only a crazy person-oh wait. I smirk, "We might need guns. We're going to Iron Maiden." Tango tilts her head, "Why them?" "You trust me?" She takes a while, "You sure this is the right move?"
*Do not let him escape!* I wheeled down the hall and Rollins' stepped out from a room. He waved, "C'mon, we're leaving man." I lead him at gunpoint into the morgue. He picked me up and slapped me down on the table.
"They're the only ones who can even compete with Peacekeeper." Norbert yells, "Why didn't we just go there to begin with?" He's got me there. He shakes his head and smiles, "You're a traitor to not one, but two global militias. You hide while everyone around you dies!" Tango glares at Norbert, "He's not in fighting sha-" I wave my hand and she shuts up, "It's fine. He's right."
I point at myself and try holding back the tears, "I'm a deserter that went and killed his wife, the thing two years ago just made me want to do it even more." Tango's jumps and stares at me, as a monster. Her arms go limp as her whole view of me shatters. "I killed her, me. I couldn't let her go!" I jerk myself around and everyone slowly grows further away,
"So yeah, I'm gonna walk up in there and have them end me!" I tear up and talk to myself out loud, "Dead at twenty five." A hard slap comes across my face, the sound booms across the room. I look up at Tango, Norbert shouts, "Tango, don't!" She hands me her gun.

"It's Alice. Man the fuck up, Nick." I stare at it and get up off the floor. If only it were that easy. "We're going to Maiden." Gladius looks to me next to Trey, "My car's out there, take it." He throws Alice the keys, then walks out. Norbert shakes his head at me, yet Angel and Gladius seem unphased.
I walk out and hop in the car. "I know you want to push me away." "Tan-Alice-" She bangs on the wheel. "Stop it already! It fucking hurts too much." I stare off, but she turns my head, "I'll only get you killed." "My death depends on my choices, Nick. I coulda left you behind when I found out what you did." She turns the key. I was a terrible guy. I guess it's time to look ahead and not backward. She turns and smiles, "You ready?" I shake off my frown and my head rises, "Ready as I'll ever be."
