"I'm tired, night." She gets in her cot as I snuggle into the blanket, "Goodnight Nick." She's getting too attached to me. Garvey, here I come! "Goodnight."
I walk up to a giant figure as he turns around slowly. "So, you came!" I raise my fists as Garvey drops his cigarette, "C'mon! Take your best shot, kid!" I run up and throw a punch, only to reel back in pain before hitting him. I quickly grab my arm. "You can't even throw a punch, just go back to the streets where you belong."
I try running as he laughs, but Switch won't move. I open my mouth and no sound comes out. Garvey smirks, "I'm sorry?" I tear at my hair. He runs up and stabs my gut like Reede did to Fox.
I spring up in the cot, clenching my gut, breathing heavily and eyes wide. A doctor's frozen just a few feet away, "B-bad dream?" I take a deep breath, "Yeah. How long until I can throw punches?" He breaks out his ice, "You'll be able to get around in a week." He puts something in my IV bag. "Sleep tight."
I'm back in the dark, Garvey smirks, "Back already?" I try to speak, it only comes out a whisper. "Fuck off." He sighs, "Why don't you like her back?" I barely get it out, "Who?" I start choking as he laughs, "You keep yourself distanced ever since Molly croaked."
I need to come up for air! He laughs, "Oh shit, what'd that doctor give you?"
I gasp as the doctor jumps out his skin, "What the hell?!" He turns around, I try getting up, but Switch is gone. "Uh, where are my legs?" He stiffens up, "I took them so you wouldn't hurt yourself." He walks over to a locker and brings them over. "Careful, your body's still healing." I swipe Switch back and put him on. After he locks in, he won't move. "C'mon Switch."

Tango comes in, "Nick, you alright?" I snarl, "Switch won't work." She tilts her head, "Is that another voice?" I smile and laugh, She's still trying to love me, why? "The legs speak to me. But I can't hear him anymore."
She hands me a bag of fruit and sits down besides me, "Whiskey got these." The doctor walks off, mumbling to himself,
I wince, "Any idea on how to kill him yet?" She frowns, "There's no plan without you, so rest up." I rub my chin, "What're you thinkin'?" I smile and try punching forward, it hurts less than before. "We need to assume everyone from peacekeeper is a threat. We need an army to storm the base, equipped with flame weapons."
She chuckles, "This isn't the damn future." I shake my head, "Flamethrowers, fire grenades, even rocket launchers. Ask Whiskey to pull strings from Engen." She rubs my arm with a twinkle in her dilated eyes, "Uhhh- Yeah, leave it to me."

Holder of a Branch of the Tree of Knowledge. Demon-possessed. Cursed soul. [weed] All of these titles stem from the same misfortune, and all of them describe him equally well. However, there is only one that he holds in any importance: Private Detective.

The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
