T4NG0; Bolt, answer!
B0L7; I'm at the building still.
At the end of the street, Zero waves.
Z3R0; Get down here!
B0L7; Comin' now.
I walk down the fire escape and hop down. After driving the Jeep up to them, Zero scoffs, "Took ya long enough." I scratch my head, "Think we're not doing much here, guys." Zero shakes his head, "We got a hit and run, took down a gang's enforcers."
Tango watches the Engen pawn as I shake my head, "We could be making a much bigger difference. We could
be participating in raids." Zero's eyes turn wild, "Raids are too dangerous, I mean, think of Tango!"
We both look at Tango, she smiles while holding the guy down with her boot. "I trust you, Bolt." The man tries to get up, "Fuck you-" She raises her boot and simply stomps down. I smile, "Thanks for your vote."
She grins, "You only get it if you teach me some moves." An armored car rolls up as Zero stares me down. Foxtrot marches up, "You guys alright?"
Zero doesn't look away, "We're gonna be participating in raids." She puts her hand on his shoulder, "We are too- Ok boys, let's take this scumbag to the Military Police. Oh and Zero." His head finally turns as Fox winks, "See you back at the Outpost."
Tango tugs on me, "We should get going guys." She was right, I run to the car, "Shotgun!" "No! Damn it!" She chases me around the car, as I grin. "Looks like you're in the back this time." She groans, "Fine." After getting in, I grab the radio and flip it to the marshal's channel,
"Marshal? It's Bolt." Tango springs to the edge of her seat and hovers just behind me, "You have the Marshal's channel?" *Bolt! How's the team?* Zero gets in as I push, "We actaully want to participate in raids." *What about your recruit?*

I look back, she's in my face, she crawls up and pushes, "Bolt trained me well enough, sir." She climbs back into her seat, smiling while looking at her hand. *Ok, you'll be moving out of Outpost Six today then. It's on your map. Complete your shift first, THETA.*
We turn into a gas station and Zero folds his arms, "You two go ahead, I'll pump." I hop out with a smile, as does Tango. She skips her way inside as I walk in like I own it, "Peacekeeper, 20 on pump nine!" Tango slaps down one of those taffy bar things. "Have a great day, you two."
She rips away at the package like an animal before slowly turning towards my face. "What? I have a sweet tooth." My chuckle stops abruptly as Zero gets off the radio and changes the channel back. After that, he starts pumping. What are you hiding, Zero?

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
