As Anitha reached Saksham, she smiled and said, "My mother is admitted in the hospital and I was there last night and came home just half an hour ago. So, by the time I got ready for school, I realized that I was a little late. When I left my home, I saw no one along the way so I thought that I was really late today. But then, I saw you."

Saksham heard this and patted his head. He had forgotten that Anitha's mother was suffering from Dengue. Due to her blood platelets falling down quite a lot, severe headache, fever, and aching of the body, she had to be immediately sent to the hospital. Since then, although her conditions have gotten stable, there was not much improvement in her health. It has been 3 days since she had been admitted to the hospital.

"Oh! I forgot about that. Then, let's go or else we're going to be late today," said Saksham.

"Alright," replied Anitha.

As they were walking down the street, many people would turn towards Saksham and Anitha and be envious. Girls couldn't help but want to replace Anitha and walk down the street with Saksham but they kept this thought deep inside their hearts because they knew that they couldn't come close to 1/10th of Anitha's beauty and grace.

And the same goes for boys. Some felt inferior just looking at Anitha. And some who didn't feel inferior gave up after looking at the handsome face of Saksham. Due to this handsome face, there had been quite a lot of times when he had been asked out by girls. But he had rejected all of them. And as for the reason? The reason is right now walking beside him.

They were silent the whole way till they reached the school. Although this type of silence may be awkward for many, but not for Saksham. For Saksham, this was just the type of peace and the tranquil environment he wants when he is with Anitha. He likes this type of harmonious silence. It felt like Anitha also liked this type of silent walking.

As both of them were in the same class, they entered the class together under the envious gazes of their classmates and sat down on their respective seats. The Homeroom teacher then took the attendance. After taking the attendance she asked every student to take their math books out. She was their class teacher as well as a Math teacher. Her name was Mrs Poonam Chander. Mrs Poonam Chander was a middle-aged woman with some white hair on her head.

She suddenly announced loudly, "Students, as the final examinations come closer, we expect all of you to be studying with all your hearts to get great results in the finals. We, teachers, have done and taught you everything in the period of a year. From next week, you will have your Pre-boards. Through that, we will be able to find out just how much you lack for your Boards (Final Examinations). So, please put your playful attitudes and mischief aside for the duration of 3 months. If not, it may cost you, your future."

Everyone in the class nodded seriously but only a few took it to heart. Saksham was one of the few who took it seriously to heart and that is also why he wanted to use his powers to learn and understand everything which was taught in class 12th. If that could come true, then Saksham would have nothing to fear from the Boards examinations.

As Saksham had chosen Science stream, his next some periods were of Physics, Chemistry, English, and at last, Physical Education. In the Physical Education period, Saksham did nothing and sat down at a corner of the playground and watched other play the Football, Basketball, Kabbadi, and Badminton. As this was a combined class of several other classes, many students were on the playground. Saksham sat there quietly and watched others play on the ground enviously.

Since small, his physique had always been very weak. So, there were not many times in his childhood that he had taken part in any sports activity. And due to this, he had always concentrated on his studies more. But he still couldn't help but be envious of those who could play for hours.

Haah!

Saksham sighed and closed his eyes for a bit. Suddenly, a pair of hands covered his eyes. Then, he heard the playful sound of a girl coming from behind. The girl deliberately said in a hoarse tone, "Guess who?"
