《The Most OP Protagonist In History》Chapter 5: Saksham's secret!

Saksham went home and told his mom about this lottery. He seriously wanted to share this good news with someone so he first informed his mother about it.
"Mom, let me show you something good." Saksham giggled.
"Hmm? What could it be that my son would want to show me that he is so excited about?" Savitri asked.
"Haha….Look, I've bought a lottery ticket for the lottery with prize money of 1,000,000." Saksham showed the ticket excitedly.
Savitri saw the ticket and suddenly she shook her head and said dismissively, "Fool, what are you so excited about? You have only bought the ticket, not won the lottery. Our family has never had the kind of luck to win these types of things. It was a waste to buy this ticket but still, this will be a lesson for you to remember in the future. Now, go change your clothes, wash your hands and come back for lunch."
Savitri said this and then once again entered the kitchen. As Saksham heard Savitri's words and saw the disappointment in her eyes, he wanted to stop her and tell her that the ticket he had was the winning ticket, but then what? How would he explain it? As this involved his superpowers, Saksham didn't want anyone to know about it or else if the word got out then, he would definitely become a lab rat. He couldn't risk even telling about his superpowers to his own parents. So, Saksham controlled his impulse to immediately explain things and went back to his room. He changed his clothes and then came back out for lunch.
Now, he just had to wait for the results to be announced and then he really want to see what kind of expression his mother would have at that time. Just thinking about it made Saksham snickered.

"What are you laughing about?" Savitri asked.
"Nothing, just some things I randomly thought about," replied Saksham.
"So, how is your girlfriend doing?" Savitri asked playfully.
PUFF
Saksham almost spurted out his food from his mouth.
"How many times do I have to tell you, mom. We are not in a relationship." Saksham said wryly.
"What? You two are still not in a relationship? Then you have to hurry up or else what would you do if she says yes to someone else?"
"Don't worry about that mom. She won't say yes to anyone else but m-"
Saksham suddenly shut up as his face became red. He realized that he had been set up by his mother and he had fallen into her trap.
"Hahahaha! And you still say that you don't feel anything like that towards her? So, when are you going to confess? Do you need your mother to go to their homes and talk about your futures with her parents?" Savitri said with a playful smile on her lips.
"Mom! You are not allowed to tell this to anyone or talk about it! Or else I'm going to ignore you from today." Saksham said with a red face.
"Hahaha! Your mother is just joking with you. Look how red your face has become." Savitri laughed.
Saksham quickly ate his lunch and hurriedly went back to his room. As he closed the door, he could still hear his mother laughing outside. His face couldn't help but heat up once again. He stood in front of the mirror and looked at himself.
He saw a young boy standing in the mirror, about 180 cm. He had a handsome white face with light but deep blue eyes. His eyebrows were like swords. His nose was sharp and his lips were thin but perfect. Combining all these, he was a very handsome boy. But his face right now was red. Saksham couldn't help but think of her now that his mother had mentioned her.

Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Den of Vipers
The Year is XXXX, and a deep, heavy fog sets in all over not just the planet, but the whole of the universe, sending all within into a deep, deep sleep. When they awake, all has changed, and both for the better and the worse. Everything has changed, from the new, impossibly massive planet that all now occupy to the terrain to the very rules of reality themselves. But what has changed the most are the people. It seemed as though Humanity was alone in the cosmos, but no longer, as new, monstrous races have been born from the flesh of those whom the Fog singled out. With the survivors rewarded for each altered former human they kill, along with each heroic (and villainous) act that they engage in, those who have changed are forced to run, hide, and try to fight back. But in a distant place, a single altered person stirs from her sleep as the Fog fades. With no Humans for hundreds of miles and a [Quest] that all other Altered share guiding her newly inhuman mind, the newly born serpentine but humanoid monster will have to fight for survival and dominance in a world hellbent on her death, with that violent, pathological hate coming not just from the remaining Humans. Give Light to Dark Thoughts
When the heart bleeds and nothing can heal it, the only thing left to do is write. Thoughts are volatile, sometimes they are cruel and other times are kind, nevertheless both are needed. If the pain didn't exist no one would know what happiness feels like. This book of poems is the moments when just for a second dark is all that it is, so why not share and give it light, hopefully someone will feel identify with at least one poem. Not all the poem will be in a negative connotation, and the images I put will be from Pinterest.
