While everyone wondering about what is going on? why Zeral didn't kill that monster instead he bringing him to the city...Zeral holding his friend Kevin and walking him back to the city

"What is going on? Why are you bringing him here?" one of the commanders walk out the gates and asks Zeral while other soldiers surrounding them waiting for Zeral to answer

"MOVE!" Zeral orders the soldiers but they refuse so he says

"Move, my friend need some aid, I wounded him badly"

The commander with confusion expression in face he asks Zeral again

"What? Is he your friend? but he is a monster"

Zeral interrupts The commander screaming at him "NOO! HE IS NOT"

Another commander asks Zeral "But he looks like one so tell us who is he? and why are you helping him?"

Kevin barely stand, he says "Am I monster? After all that I did to this kingdom? You think I wanted to be this? a creature that feeds on humans like a wild animal"

Zeral add to that by saying "Man, this is hard to understand to them since they reject anything not same as them well this is what you were before and now you see why humans are monsters too" then he looks to the commanders and says

"This man or like you call him a monster is my friend Kevin, he was a commander in Batrack city and he is the only survival as I think from the Batrack massacre that occurred by me"

The commander says "Oh really? it is hard to see a friend like this" the other one asks "So can you trust you, friend, to enter the city? and do no harm to anyone there?"

Zeral answers as he entering the city while the soldiers are moving away

"Yeah, after all, he came here to talk to me as he said and indeed we got much to talk my friend" while he getting inside all soldiers, commanders and general himself along with the princess is watching them walking towards nearest infirmary to get his friend there to take some treatment and rest...

While Kevin under the treatment, Zeral, and the general start discussing Kevin situation

"So how is he now?" The general asks Zeral

"Well I think he is getting better"

The general asks Zeral again "So do you really trust him?"

Zeral with a smile he says "He was one of best soldiers I ever see, he was a warrior as me and he was a brother to me so I do trust him but if he tries to do anything bad to your people I will stop him myself even if I had to kill him so don't worry "

The general says "The princess wanted to meet him and speak to him after she heard he was your friend before and she insists on doing that and you know she is stubborn girl"

Zeral says "That is fine, let her talk to him later after he wakes and thank you, Alex, for all of this and for understanding that this man is only one who can help to remember what happened to me and why I destroyed my hometown"

The general struggling to says "Umm...Yeah...Yeah Of course"

Zeral ask the general "Are you okay?"

The general quickly start smiling as he leaving the room "I'm fine, don't worry. Well I just need to get back to talk to the princess now, speak to you later sir Adomas"

Then he leaves the room while Zeral sits to the chair thinking and preparing himself to speak to his friend about what happened there...

Hours later, Zeral walking towards his friend's room to speak to him as he walking he start feeling some pain as start hearing screams inside his mind...

Zeral stop for seconds grabbing his head and saying "What now? damn it this pain again"

Then he continues walking and while reaching Kevin room's door the pain gets more and more but he doesn't care so he knocks the door and asking Kevin to allow him to enter the room

"Hey, Kevin! are you a wake? can I enter?"

After he heard Kevin says "Yes" he enters the room with a smile on face he asks

"Kevin it seems you got healed from the fight earlier, sorry I did that you if you told me that you were Kevin from the start this wouldn't happen however I'm glad that you are fine and here with me"

Kevin who got most of his wounds are almost healed thanks to his powerful skin and the ability to heal faster than a regular human.

So Kevin says as he getting up from the bed

"Well I wanted to know if my friend still there or not and that is only way to check that I came here to talk with Adomas, the warrior that I admired not Zeral, the beast that everyone fears so these wounds are nothing to compare for gaining my friend once again"

Zeral start laughing even the pain didn't go off but he pretended he is fine as saying

"Yeah hahaha Adomas is the hero while Zeral is just merciless beast which both in me anyway I'm here to speak to you about something you may not like to talk about as it may give you such hard time to remember so if you don't want to talk about it that is fine I will accept it and change the subject..."

Kevin interrupts Zeral by saying "No no it is fine, you want to know what happened to Batrack city? the city that you destroyed without realizing it well it is your right to know"

Zeral ask Kevin with change in expression from smile to sorrowful and serious

"I know I did destroy and killed them but as I told you before I don't remember why or what happens before or after that. The last thing I remember is waking in a cold cave in far mountains in the north, so can you tell me what happened? and is there any explanation why I did it? please tell me everything you witnessed"

Kevin turned his head to the window near him looking outside the room as he gets silence for few moments while Zeral who is waiting for the answer from Kevin, the pain got to him so bad but Zeral didn't care about pain or anything else he just wants to learn the truth...

Then Kevin finally speaks as he turning his head again to look at Zeral face and tells him this

"Ask yourself why you attacked us? you came back to the city gates, the guards opened the door the moment they recognized you coming back, they didn't know that you weren't same Adomas they know as they opened the door for you the hell started"

Kevin start crying while saying

"I didn't believe it, no one does! you were attacking the guards and killing anyone get in your way, your eyes man your eyes were...Damn it"

Adomas struggling to speak from the growing pain in his mind "Uh tell me" he says

Kevin continue speaking "Your eye's sclera was so red it was unbelievable those eyes I never saw something like it before then when we tried to stop you from attacking the villagers, you transformed into something more powerful and dreadful even than the monsters"

Adomas interrupts asking "What?" as Kevin continue speaking again

"Yeah you were a real monster something by far horrible than any other creature you may see even Hirvan himself can't stop it also your body got bigger and you grew fangs and claws as tiger or to be more precise it was like the famous Zeralizion"

Adomas completely shocked and barely says "What?...I was...That...Creature"

Kevin as more tears coming down as heavy rain he continues telling Zeral what happened there

"Yeah and you attacked anything come to your way, no sword or bows scratched you as same as you are now, an unstoppable being, a godlike, a something that can't be killed or run from...I tried to stop you but I failed and you injured me badly that I can't even move as I remember you nearly take off my body with one attack, I thought I'm going to die"

Adomas start crying as well while saying "I'm sorry I'm truly sorry I don't know how you will forgive me or anyone I killed in that day but I swear I would never do such thing if I was aware of my actions back then so I'm sorry"

Kevin says "I know you weren't aware of what you were doing, I don't think you could you would kill your wife and then your kid like that"

Adomas get many tears down and with pain and regrets as screaming "NOOO! What I've done? I killed them too"

Kevin holds Zeral hands and says "My friend I know how much you loved your wife and your son and I never thought that someday you would do that to them even your wife thought same, she tried to stop you, she came to you begging you to stop she even tried to hug you but in that moment you...."

Kevin couldn't finish the line as Zeral remembers the moment he killed his wife so he says

"I stabbed her chest and took out her heart and I did eat it" then he stops talking for seconds cleaning his tears then he says "God! I remember how I killed her I remember her pretty face, her last breath and how she fell down while I continued moving forward! man how I could do that? I killed her because she tried to stop me"

Zeral can't believe what he was done while Kevin, the monster is crying loudly yelling

"I witnessed that and couldn't do anything, my body was torn apart I couldn't even move and I got no power to warn her from you. Tell me do you remember when she said please no! stop my love you aren't this monster please stop before you took off her heart and kill the most thing you loved"

Zeral with no words to says, Kevin continues telling Zeral the rest of the event

"Then you continued moving to kill anything in your way then you found your son crying holding a sword that heavier than him as I remember he was saying stop dad please or I will fight you or something like that I couldn't help him too so with your hands you smashed his face and throw his small body miles away and you continued marching to kill more and more and in that moment I wished to die so I won't see any more of your killings"

Zeral closed his eyes for seconds and open it again and he says "I did it" then with tears coming down and pains get more and more he smiles and says

"Fuck I deserve to get in deepest place in hell for this and still can't forgive myself for what I was done...I, by those hands (looking to his hands) I murdered my own family in a gruesome way, something that even worst creatures in this world wouldn't do"

Kevin trying to calm Zeral as he saying "Maybe that is true but I'm sure you can correct what you did by defeating Hirvan because he was the reason for killing the Zeralizion and for that you transformed to this beast who killed his family also to end this war so I'm here to help you doing that"

Zeral asks Kevin as trying to regain himself again

"What? you aren't on his side as rest of his creation?"

Kevin answers "He maybe the reason why I'm alive as same for many who were lucky to be saved from death by drinking his holy-as he calls it- blood and grants us this ugly body with this enormous physical power...I was about to die from injuries while you left the city after killed most of the population there, Hirvan and his army came to the city shortly after to find no one alive there and I was lucky I was breathing my last breaths when he reached me so he changed me to this creature and gave me a new life

Zeral says "So you owe him that"

Kevin says "Yeah and for the reward I must follow him and call him my god but you know me Zeral, I always been a faithful to my God, our God so I pretend that way and in same time I tried to find away to stop him until I heard that there is a book in the castle that can make it happens"

Zeral ask again "What? how do you know about it?"

Kevin answer him with low voice "Well there are other monsters who refused Hirvan as me so we all pretended that we are under his control while plotting how to stop him then we realized that he fears you and he need that book to kill you and we learned that only Druids can read it so guess what?"

Zeral who start to calm down, he wonders "What?"

Kevin answer him as he starts smiling "There is monster who can read it because he was one of Hirvan close friends and he learned from him the language of that book so he told me he can read it if we deliver that book to him and he hated Hirvan for claiming that he is a god"

Zeral screams directly "WHAT? ARE YOU SURE? Man this is great if he can read it then we can find out the poison that he used to put off the immortality thing from the Zeralizion so with that we can kill Hirvan and finally to kill me"

Kevin says "Yeah that what I'm talking about so I'm here to ask you can you get us the book from the castle?"

Zeral with a smile in face he says "Yeah, of course, we have to go the castle then"

Kevin says "Well you go and bring me the book while I will go to get this monster outside the base of Hirvan and we will meet in a secret location so we can make the poison and then we will use to kill Hirvan for good"

Zeral says "Alright that seems a good idea so let's do it"
