Losing his memories aside with his humanity was the worst thing may happen to Zeral but for him, he was afraid of what he could have done in his last 10 years how many innocents people he killed? and what wrong things he made?

The sadness in Zeral's face was noticed by the king who stands and walks towards Zeral who was looking to the sky and repeating this lines

"It was me isn't?"

The king get near to Zeral asking him

"Adomas, what is wrong?"

Zeral look at the king then lower his head and says

"Nothing, I have to go now" then he looks to rest there and he says

"I have done enough damage to your people and it seems I got no reason to stay here and kill you or kill anyone else"

The king quickly ask again

"But why? what happened?"

Zeral answer the king with a smile

"What? you want me to kill you? You see I was here to kill you along with the rest because I blamed you all for the murder of my family but it seems now it is pointless to continue this task so I'm leaving and I wish you can forgive me"

The king puts his right hand on Zeral's shoulder and looks to his eyes and says

"Adomas, I can't imagine the pain you feeling after what you've been through and it seems it is all because of me...If I didn't order you to go for the hunt of that cursed beast, you would be there with them until the bitter end so I'm sorry"

While he looking to sky again as the king speaking to him, when he heard that Zeral looks down to the king and says

"Wait but you are a king, right? Kings never apologies for what they were done"

King with a smile answering Zeral

"That is may true but I'm telling you this not as a king, as a friend and as a human I'm deeply sorry for everything happened to Batrak city"

After few moments of them looking to each other, Zeral ask the king

"I've one question before I go, do you remember that city as it was ?"

The king closed his eyes briefly and responds

"Of course I do...I still remember the beauty of it, the people, the main church of Batrak, the streets and even that old bar...It was one of my favorite cities and you know that as you know even my wife from there and every day I look to her, she reminds me of that city"

"Mhmmm" Zeral's reaction then the king ask him same question so Zeral answers

"Yeah I still remember most it as it was, I still remember how it was so beautiful and hahaha (laughing for seconds) I still remember that fatty blacksmith, Clark who still owe me couple of coins also I remember how they people were there standing at the gate waiting for me to get back from every duty..."

As Zeral cleaning the tears coming outside

"I still remember their smiles and I do remember my son screaming every time that's my father! that's my dad! he was jumping and that relief I feel when I see him and how he grows up and all tales we tell to each other but in end I..."

He burst in crying, the tears come out heavily like a rain and like taking out all of his tears out for first time in years as saying

"And I did it" then he fall down to his knees screaming "I KILLED THEM"

then he start begging the king

"I killed them, I done it so please my king, punish me, execute me, burn me, please do anything and kill me please I don't deserve to live"

The king stunned immediately "Huh? what? you?"

Zeral continue begging the king

"Just please kill me I have nothing to live for anymore, I've been searching for the responsible of the death of my beloved family but it seems I was searching for myself"

Then the king gets down on his knee as well and says "I can't also you know you are immortal but listen to me...We all do mistakes that we wish we can go back and change it but as you know, we can't live only in the past, we have to learn from our mistakes and make it right so that is for I understand how you feel"

After he said that, he give Zeral a hug and he whisper in his ears

"I don't know why you have done it? But I'm sure it was not on purpose I know how much you love that city even more than I do so I can't believe that you did it for any reason"

Zeral backing his head as looking weirdly to the king while saying

"I'm lucky that the mighty king hugged me but still with purpose or not which I don't remember I did it and I can't live with it"

The king smiles to Zeral saying

"I may the king but it doesn't mean that I don't have a heart and feelings so Adomas you should bring them all back and you have to back as human as you was before"

Zeral stand up and start looking to all soldier's dead bodies he killed and then he says

"I can't be human no not anymore after what I done to all humans just look around you look how many men I killed and how I treated you with all the respect and the love I had before so I think I'm now the most hated creature in this kingdom"

The king stand up as well and take a look then he says

"Maybe you are the most hated person to them and I can't change the fact that you hurt lot of people and you have done lot of unforgivable crimes but for me you still the hero as you were before and prove it to me and as a King I forgive you" then he looks back to his soldiers and says "I, David, the mighty king of Antorya, forgive Adomas Ivr Mar...Damn I forget your last name" then he looks to Zeral wondering about his last name but Zeral says

"Don't look to me! I don't know either, thank you anyway"

As everyone shocked to hear that, no one believed that the king forgives Zeral for what he was done...However Zeral ask the commander who told him earlier his full name

"Hey you, what was my last name? I remember you said it right? so tell me"

The commander out of shock says "Ah-ah-ah-Ma-Ma-Rilos, ahh it is Marilos"

The king says "thanks, however, I forgive him for what he did as I can see it was misunderstanding and I think after we saw now and we learned that he was the responsible for the death of thousands of innocent souls since then I think he owe us an apology"

Zeral look to them and after moments he start walking towards them with a smile in face as they falling back preparing for any surprise attacks from Zeral but he stop and says

"Alright he is right I owe you all an apology so here it is simple but I know it will be simple for you to forgive me so I'm sorry for everything I was done or I can simply continue killing you anyway wait no I'm kidding I promise no more unless you stay out my way and always remember that you are the fate of this kingdom"

Then quickly turn to give a look to the king smiling at him then he turn his head back to soldiers and says

"You are lucky to have a great king like that, after what I did to him he still think that I'm the same hero as I was even though many of you think that I am a monster and believe me I don't blame you...I hate myself as well I wish I found a way to die and now I have to live rest of my life in this pain of knowing what I've done but unlike me, you all still have a life to live and war to win so for your great king please protect him for everything you got"

All soldier lay down their weapons and hail the king then Zeral himself hail them and says

"Protect your kingdom as a true warrior I want to see the old me or Adomas as the king prefer to call me in you so fight for him to your last breath"

The soldiers screamed all together "HELL YEAH!"

Then he turn to the queen and says

"Sophia, my queen and my childhood friend, you are the last person expect you to forgive me but you know..."

The queen interrupts him saying as she cleaning her tears "No, I do forgive you as well I know how much you love your city and there is no way you could do that on purpose...I'm sure something controlled you to do that and I'm sure that you are always will be one of bravest and greatest warriors of it"

Zeral quickly closed his eyes and open it then says

"You are always that good heart woman as I knew you even after what I was done you still believe in me as the greatest warrior of Batrak, however, I hope your son soon will be the greatest warrior of Antorya even greater than his father"

As he looking to Mike who was already in tears and he told him

"Hey listen to kid no matter what! you must never give up! also, you are the only kid in my life to get a fight with me...What you did earlier it prove how you are amazing already and I respect you for that little prince so don't disappointed me and let your sister be better than you"

Mike with a smile on face "No way! I will be the greatest king ever"

The king start laughing as he getting close to him saying "You know I said same when I was young but I never ever fought someone like Adomas at your age and I really impressed about it and as I told you earlier, you will be a fine king even better than me"

Then Mike goes to hug his father...After that, Zeral collect his swords and prepare to leave while the soldiers went inside with the queen and her son while King stayed talking with Zeral outside alone "Where are you going now? stay here with us" the king asks

Zeral answers the king "Sorry, I can't stay here I have to continue walking and trying to get rest of my memories and understand why I killed them and in same time gives your soldiers amount time to get over what happened today and you know you can't stop me right?"

The king says "Ah yeah that's right but I hope you will help us in this war, we really need you and if you still considering yourself as a warrior then you still under my command right?"

Zeral asks "So you ordered me to fight with you? well I'm not sure as I said I have no part in this war so I give me spare time to think about it and regain my mind again so I can't promise you for now"

The king says "Ah yeah of course, after all, it is not easy what you are in now! so I give you time and I really hope someday you will back raising my kingdom flag and fight for not just me but for all of the mankind to end this war with the monsters"

Zeral asks the king again "Yeah like old days you say? and by the way where is your daughter? last time I saw her, she was a little cute girl"

The king answer as he laughing "Hahaha yeah well now she is at Kolino city I send her there for some training and I don't think you will recognize her now...She grow fast and became bigger and stronger and talented I hope she will meet you soon and see her yourself"

Zeral says as he laughing "With a pleasure! I'm sure she is amazing as her parents however now it seems the farewell my king or just David same as you call me Adomas instead of Zeral hahaha"

The king continue laughing "Hahahaha its okay, no one here to hear you said that anyway"

Zeral says "hahaha yeah so see you soon and good luck in this war"

As Zeral leaving, the king getting inside but at a moment he stopped and recall Zeral again

"Zeral, wait I forget something important to tell you"

As Zeral went back to the king to hear him so what could it be? and is Zeral really going to help them?
