《The Silver Sabertooth》Blood And Wine

For Zeral, nothing is important to him except for killing anything that stands in his way...He didn't give a damn about anything that happened, especially the war between the humans and monsters - who now called themselves "Holy Beings".
The abandoned, wounded boy tried to follow Zeral as he walked away. "Please, let me come with you!"
Zeral continued to ignore him as the poor boy struggled to keep up with him, until the boy made a proposal:
"Sir, please help me or at least go help my father...You told me you had a son before, right? Do you think he would have been happy with this? Please, master." He began to pray.
Zeral turned his head downwards towards the boy. "Yes, I had a son, but now he is gone forever. Even if he is not happy, it wouldn't matter to me...You see, I'm an immortal being, I have no life, no heart, and no purpose. I'm only doing what stupid God wants me to do...Live hell on the earth."
The boy shook his head. "No, don't say that about God, my father says he’s our only salvation. I trust god to save me and help me through this -”
Zeral interrupts the boy with a laugh. "Hahaha, you think your God will help you? You think he will even care about you? I don't think so, he didn't help me when I needed him. Now let me prove that he will not help you."
Zeral unsheathed his sword. "You want me to help your father, right?"
The boy smiled. “Yes master, please, go back and help him if you can, I beg of you!"
"Alright, I'm going to help him." He advanced on the boy. "Here is the ticket to meet your father - in the other world." He nonchalantly sliced the little boy’s body in half.
"Now he is up there with your god, go and meet him. Tell your god I said hi, I'm coming for you soon..."

Zeral put his sword on his back and continued on his way to Palin...
Meanwhile, King David’s generals ordered their soldiers to search the entire kingdom to make Zeral help them in the war.
Zeral finally reached the town of Palin. He noticed the multitude of people staring at the blood dripping from his left sword. He ignored their fearful looks and stopped at a bar a few miles away to rest from his journey.
After entering, he sat down in one of the bar stools and told the bartender, “I want a couple shots of wine, please.”
With an “All right”, the bartender gave Zeral a few shots of the wine he had been eying behind the counter. Zeral let out a joyous sigh. "Mhm, this is so good."
As he took the shot, a random woman strutted over to his seat.
"Hey pretty, you want some enjoyment tonight?"
Zeral ignored her.
"Come on, tell me, what do I need to do to please you? I can make your night the best, all at a low price..."
Zeral continued to enjoy his drinks. The woman looked in confusion at the swords on his back.
"What do you need two swords for?"
Zeral clutched her hand before she could touch the sword.
"Don't you dare touch it or I will cut off your hands."
One of the other men in the pub overheard the conversation. "How dare you treat a lady like this?"
Zeral ignores him and he continued drinking his wine.
"Hey, are you deaf? I asked you a damn question! How dare you treat that lady like that? You want me to teach you some manners?"
Zeral start laughing with an evil smile on his face. "Please do."
The man swung his sword at Zeral. "You will pay for this, you dumbass..."
Zeral stood and quickly reflected it with his left sword. He struck the man in the head, slicing it off. The blood spurted from the severed point like rain.

"Now it's raining again, hahaha. So who is next?" He surveyed the shocked men in the bar. "Come on, who wants to try his luck and kill me? I just killed one of your men in front of you, so come and avenge him."
A few angered men began to mumble, "Let's kill this monster...He killed one of our brothers...Yes, that's right...Kill him now!" Zeral moved to kill them one by one and laughed as the swords uselessly bounced off his body like toys.
After slaughtering the aggressors, he shouted to the survivors, "What about you guys? Who wants to dance with me? I'm just getting started!"
All of the men and women ran out of the bar in terror. "So everyone runs away, what a shame!!" He looked under the table where the bartender had been hiding.
"Alright, I really loved this wine, could you give me the bottle?”
The bartender answered hurriedly, "Yes, of course, y-you can have it, just please don't kill me."
He gave Zeral the bottle, who in turn dropped a small pouch of coins in his hand. "Take this to cover the bottle and all damage I caused here. Now if you excuse me, I have to go.”
As Zeral walking towards the exit, he noticed the woman from earlier hiding and crying under one of the tables.
He smiled. "You've got a nice body, I must say - it reminds me of my wife’s. But you see, I'm not into women’s bodies anymore. So I'm sorry I can't play with you tonight, go find someone else." He gave her some coins from his pocket. "Here, take this. Farewell."
Zeral strolled along the streets of the city, drinking his wine and wiping the blood off his face. A soldier saw him walking down the street and nudged his companion.
"Hey, who is that guy with the black clothes and the swords?"
He answered, "Mhmm, I'm not sure, I’ve never seen a man like him before..."
Another asked, "Wait, is that the man who our dear king is looking for? I heard that the king asked his generals to find a strange man with two swords on his back, a black beard and white like silver body.”
The first soldier replied, "Yes, now that you mention it, I think that's the man we're looking for.”
"I didn't hear about this until now,” the one who started the conversation said, “But tell me why the king desires to find this man?"
“As I heard it, the king wants us to find this man and deliver him alive to him because he can be a big assist in this war."
The soldier said, "Really? Let's get him then!” The other agreed eagerly.
The third warned them. "Hey, be careful, as I heard from other soldiers, this man is insanely powerful. There are even rumors about him that he is not even human...So we need to talk to him and avoid any fights because if these rumors are real, we may end up causing real trouble here."
The first soldier groaned, “Ohh alright, let's go after him before he gets out of our sight.”
So the four soldiers went after Zeral, talking over how they would start a conversation with him.
Zeral noticed their presence but ignored them until they caught up to him.
"Oh hey you!! We need to talk to you for few moments, if you don't mind."
Zeral replied, "You kept following for a while, so I guess you have something important to tell me. You want to fight?" He touched his sword.
Another soldier said quickly, “No, we are not here to fight you, we want just talk to you about few things, that's all.”
Zeral said, "So what do you want?"
The End.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
