As I saw my 4 buddies Katy, krog, Oleg and Kiel. I am not dead yet I see that’s great news .i can see I was covered some type of blue and green color ointments. When I looked around I saw it was not our cave but the old goblins house.
While I was puzzled at fist then I thought may due to injury they kept me here.then I saw them smiling at me.
Kiel: “you ok mate?”
Katy: “definitely he is ok can’t you see dumbass”.
Oleg and krog smiled bitterly at them as they always argued with silly things. I can see warmth radiating from their eyes. Hehe seeing those like this made my heart warm .they may be goblins and monsters for the people of earth but there are people to me. Then I closed my eyes to rest and recover with a gentle smile on my face.
After sometime I woke up and they were still there watching over me while I smiled and stood up and saw as it was already evening .then I asked them
Me:” so I slept for almost a day ….”
Oleg: “you bastard made us scared shitless as you were out cold for 3 days straight.”
Me: “what?” I was flabbergasted by his reply as 3 days my god the wound was pretty bad I know but I didn’t think that long.
Kiel: “and it seems you have become some idol in between villagers.”
Krog: “yeah, as the old elder gric left with his things to another shed.”
Katy: “I bet that I saw him smiling and looked so relaxed when taking his things and when we asked why then he told to call him once you wake up.”
Me: “its ok I will go” .but they didn’t allow me and told to lay down while they went to fetch the old elder gric. I lay down and waited after some time the old goblin showed up with his walking cane and smiling at me. Then told me to wear a shabby but black animal skin and wait here until he call me and I hear his call came out.

I was taken back from the scene I saw I as every village goblin were lined orderly from the newborn to elder and I saw their eyes filled with reverence as they looked at me I felt something inside me telling me to stand strong or I couldn’t stand that many gazes.
The old gric came and roared with his small frame
“He taught our warriors to hunt, he brought us food and he saved us from imminent death above all he is kind and value his fellow’s life. Today, I give you our new chief of our village……. warrior Zane!”
Small crowd of goblins was shouting my name repeatedly.
I was tongue-tied at the development as I got notifications coming at me as a flood .l took a deep breath and looked the first one.
