Chapter Twelve: Albert
“Ahh, we’re late.” Albert said as looked at his watch impatiently.
“Why doesn’t this vehicle just jump?” Eliza said as her innocent green eyes sparkled. She was wearing a black shirt with the words “Cannibal Corpse” printed in it. It’s probably Cezille’s. Albert thought.
“You like wearing short shorts, don’t you?” He asked as he looked at her legs.
“It’s comfy.” She smiled. “And besides.” Her pretty face turned into a frown. “Short shorts are the only ones that I own.”
It was only the two of them on the jeepney. The driver was playing a loud irritating rap song. It’s actually a miracle that the two could still understand each other.
“Okay. Do you want new shorts?” Albert asked. His eyes were directed at Eliza.
“It’s okay. I like these clothes that they gave me.” She smiled. “Are we there yet?”
“We just arrived.” Albert smiled.
The two got off the jeepney. No matter how many times Albert enters the Mansion of the blonde girl, he just couldn’t stop and stare and admire how huge it is. It was even bigger than his parents’ gate.
“This way, sir.” An old maid said and showed them the way.
The inside was even admirable. There were trees, lamp posts, lights and a huge fountain in the middle. It’s like a park inside. And the mansion itself was even huge. There at the door, a familiar girl was waiting.
“Albert!” Milly smiled as she ran and hugged him like Mayweather hugged Pacquiao. She was wearing a black hooded jacket and a pair of black six pocketed shorts. “Eliza!” She looked at her wrist. “I’m happy that you’re wearing it.” She smiled.
“Please get off of me first before noticing other people’s accessories.” He said. But in truth, he want to feel her chest more.
“Sorry.” She let out her tongue and let go of Albert. It disappointed him.
“You were waiting for us?” Eliza asked.
“A bit.” She grinned at Albert.
“Is everybody there?” He asked.
“Nah. Only a few of the members that I hardly knew.” She looks disappointed.
“Is it really okay for me to go to your party?” Eliza asked.

“Of course!” Milly grabbed Eliza’s hands and smiled. “You’re a friend of ours.”
“B-But I don’t know those people….”
“You do know us, right? And besides, Alexandria asked you to come, right?” Albert reassured her. “It’s going to be fine.”
“I guess…” Eliza smiled.
“My.” Alexandria came from the door. “Come inside already.”
Albert stared at Alexandria. She was wearing a sleeveless shirt and blue jeans with a black All-Star shoes.
“You looking at my breast again?” Alexandria teased. “Come and let’s eat together. The others will arrive sooner or later.” She smiled at the four entered the mansion doors.
Swords, spears, axes, guns, bows, name it. It was on displayed on the mansion’s wall. I wonder if her family is saving these for a Zombie Apocalypse? They passed a lot of doors that who knows where it would go. Albert had been inside this mansion for about four or five times already, but it was just Alexandria’s room that he knows.
“Every time I enter your house, I feEL like I’m entering a museum for free.” Milly said as she looked at the weapons displayed.
“There are more in our main house in Russia. That’s just about ten percent of father’s collection.” Alexandria said. “Next summer, wanna spend the summer vacation there?”
“Really? I want to go there!”
“Well, I don’t.” Alexandria opened the door at the end of the hallway.
There were quite a few people already. Most of them were people that Albert doesn’t know. A few were from his school that he knows by face.
“It’s Emily!” A fat guy shouted.
“Emily? It is indeed Emily!” A girl confirmed. And suddenly, all the people inside the huge room circled around Milly.
“Hi guys.” Milly wore her usual smile.
“What you’re in-game name, Emily?” A guy asked.
“EmiLy.” She smiled.
“Ohhhh! EmiLy the Reverend!” A guy proclaimed.
“Yes, yes.”
“You’re here.” A cold voice that came behind Albert’s back. “I hope that you guys would enjoy yourselves in this party.” It was Claire with her plain red shirt and black shorts matched with black slippers.
“Yes, we will.” Eliza smiled.
“I have a gift for you but it is not finished yet. I’ll do my best to make it this Christmas.” Claire said with her crisp voice.

“Really? I wonder what it is.” Eliza was excited.
“Hey…” Behind Claire was a person who looked like a pale vegetable.
“Oh, Roxanne.” Albert said.
“Albert. Hey…” Roxanne said.
“What happened to you? Did you ate something bad this afternoon?” Eliza said as she placed her hand on Roxanne’s forehead.
“She was looking for her ‘Sun and Stars’ named BethLOGIC.” Claire said as if it was common knowledge.
“Claire!!!” Roxanne shouted as if she’s a vegetable that came to life.
“Well, good luck finding her.” Albert said.
“Who said anything about ‘her’?” Claire said as if she’s a bald eunuch.
“Ehhh? Isn’t BethLOGIC a girl?” Roxanne asked. Her huge brown eyes became bigger.
“There is your BethLOGIC, swarming his Goddess named Milly.” Claire pointed on a fat guy who is wearing cat ears.
“How did you know? BethLOGIC isn’t a guy.” Roxanne said. “She has a female avatar with a female name!”
Claire handed her an Adventure Time notebook that has Marceline on its cover. Inside it was the list of the people from the guild, in-game and IRL names, contact numbers and signature.
“Number thirty-two.” Claire said.
Roxanne grabbed the notebook and started to read. “BethLOGIC. Bernard Mendiola.” Her heart broke as she said those words.
“Oi, Bernard.” Claire shouted.
The fat guy with cat ears looked her way. “Yes?” He asked as he walk towards their direction.
“Someone wanted to talk to you.”
Bernard came and to Claire. “Who is it?”
Bernard was indeed fat, but he is tall. He was wearing a black shirt with the anime character Hestia printed on it, black pants and shoes.
Claire gestured to the tensed Roxanne. “We’ll leave you two young ones together.” Claire said with her normal poker face. But you could feel a grin inside that expression of hers.
“Ehhhh? Please don’t…” Roxanne said with eyes like that of a hungry puppy.
“I’m going to show my guests around. Don’t be rude.” Those were Claire’s way of saying ‘good luck’ to Roxanne as the three of us left.
“What’s that about?” Albert said.
“Nothing.” Claire said as she took her phone from her shorts and took a picture of Roxanne and the fat guy.
Albert looked back, he saw Roxanne blushing all over.
He observed the whole room. There were crystal chandeliers on the ceiling. A lot of tables and a very long one where the food and beverages are. There were also wines and liquors. There were people who’re eating by groups and talking and the rest were still surrounding Milly.
“I’d like to apologize on my cousin’s behalf if the dance hall wasn’t to your liking.” Claire said. “The idea was so sudden that we didn’t have the time to ask uncle to borrow a couple of jet planes. Uncle is really busy so you need make appointments when you’re going to call him.”
“Ehh? This is more than big enough!” Albert said. “It’s so big that they could even bring their pet T-rex in.”
What Albert said was no exaggeration. Because the ceiling is way too high. And the whole room is huge enough for a whole basketball court.
“Really?” Claire said with her expressionless face. But there’s a hint of relief in her face. “Milly will sing for us later, so does the situation goes. They would probably ask her to sing.” She took a picture of Milly. “Of course they will.”
Before Albert could even laugh at the idea, Cezille came running towards them. She was wearing a black long sleeved shirt matched with her black shorts and blue Vans. Her Skull Candy headphones were on her neck.
“Have you guys seen Matthew?” Cezille looked worried.
“No. Why?” Eliza answered.
“I was calling him many times now, but he’s not answering.” Cezille looked like she’s about to cry.

Children of The Sky: Heartcore
In the realm of Yggdrasil, there exist nine worlds. Each and every world has unique stories to tell, but there was one that stood out--The Floating World of Speir. In the land of Speir, the impossible does not exist; this world has given birth to thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of tales, fables, and legends. The fight for the fate of the world is a common occurrence and the neverending stories of the people which reside in it were all, by itself, always unique and interesting. Now, after many aeons have passed, the world has changed. Not only the power of magic could shape reality, technology also has the ability to change the world with just a thought. And from the world where futuristic technology meets magic, I have chosen to tell you a story, a story picked from countless others. This is the story of a boy who recently entered the prestigious, and the most powerful academy in all of the nine worlds--Yggdrasil Academy, to fufill his dream. What is his dream, you might ask. Well, allow me to show you the life of Reynard Foxtale, one of The Children of The Sky. *Warning. For those who don't like lengthy explanations or long talks, this might not suit your taste. However, the setting of my story does not adhere to most of the main stream fantasy/sci-fi settings. So, you might find my ideas unique or a little too weird and complicated or both. Whatever opinions you might have, I truly thank all of you who are willing to spend your time to read my story. *The cover (which is a picture I do not own) is not in any way an accurate depiction of the world in the story. P/S I will post this story on FictionPress as well. P/P/S I'm relatively new to this website, so if I made any obvious (to regulars) mistakes, please tell me. P/P/P/S Will update every two weeks. *Important: In Hiatus for now. **13/7/2017 Update. Check chapter nine (and maybe ten) post-chapter note.
