Ministry of San Juan, Rio Grande City, April 16th

During the night that Uriel confronted La Llorona in Mexico…another event took place in Rio Grande City…it happened without any warning…a destined battle that was ahead of time…The story begins at the Ministry of San Juan…The sun just came down…

At the Ministry of San Juan, Estrella came down under a mysterious fever.

“Aww I miss Uriel” Fabiola lies down on the table, feeling bored.

Fabiola is a young girl that has blonde hair and dark blue eyes. She has a thin well developed body and she acts more mature despite her age.

Mariana and Abril are washing the dishes when they hear Fabiola’s words. Abril notices and whispers:

“Ooohhh she misses her boyfriend. But I don’t think he's interested in flat chested girls like her. Yeah he has Kasumi who is huge.”

Abril is a young girl that has brown skin, black hair and light brown eyes. She has a thin, not so developed body, and she is always hyperactive and smiling.

“Abril, don’t make fun of her boobs…it’s her fault that they are small…” Mariana tries to defend Fabiola.

Mariana is a young girl that has white skin, brown hair, and also light brown eyes, unlike Abril she is very shy.

Fabiola overhears them, and gets angry; “You two shut up and finish washing the plates…” Mariana and Abril look scared; “See…you made her angry…”

“Sorry…: Abril and Mariana chuckle. Fabiola sighs once more and stands up; “I’m going to check on Estrella to see how she is doing…”

Fabiola exits the kitchen. Mariana lowers her head feeling sad; “What could’ve happened to her? She was doing fine two days ago…”

“Maybe she just has the flu or COVID…well I don’t know…” Abril continues to wash, Mariana puffs her cheeks; “Sheesh you’re so insensitive…”

“Don’t get me wrong…I am worried…she is my sister after all…here, I’m done…let’s go catch up with Fabiola…”

Mariana changes her expression to a smile; “Alright…”

The sisters follow Fabiola as they head to Estrella’s room…

Estrella’s Room

(Cough Cough)

Laying down on her bed is a girl who has a high fever. Her name is Estrella, the new member of the Ministry. She has brown skin, white hair and dark blue eyes. She has the ability of a Shadowtamer, which permits her to control the Sombras…

(Cough Cough)

Estrella breathes heavily as she looks at the ceiling; “Why is my mind so fuzzy…I can hear someone calling me…but still…I don’t know…who it is…”

(KNOCK KNOCK)

“We’re coming in…” Fabiola opens the door, Mariana and Abril are behind her. Estrella tries to move:

“H-H-Hello…Sisters…”

“Estrella, stay where you are…” Fabiola rushes and puts her back down; “How are you feeling?”

“I am doing better…it’s just that…my head hurts a little…”

Fabiola checks her temperature; “It’s still too high…Mariana, bring me a wet towel…”

“Right…” Mariana quickly rushes to the bathroom and gets a wet towel. Fabiola puts it on Estrella’s forehead; “Here, this will make you feel better…”

“Thank you…cough cough…” Estrella looks at the ceiling; “Why is this happening to me?”

“Well, it’s natural…I mean you are a human being after all and we tend to get sick…”

“But Sister…I don’t feel that this is natural…sometimes, I hear someone calling for me…and I feel really scared…”

Mariana and Fabiola look worried, Abril smiles and takes out her video game console:

“That’s just your imagination…here, I will let you borrow my videogame for you to play and get your mind off this…” Abril gives Estrella her video game console. Estrella looks at it with enthusiasm:

“Thank you…cough cough…”

“Come on girls, let’s prepare her a special dinner for her to feel better…” Abril grabs her sister’s hand and pulls them to the door; “We’ll be right back…Make sure you rest up…”

(COUGH COUGH)

As they walk down the hallway, Mariana asks Abril; “Why were you forced to come with you?”

Abril looks at her with a serious expression; “To be honest, I didn’t want her to be alarmed…but this isn’t normal…that’s why our Teacher and Sister Carolina went to buy “special products” to make her a cure…”

“She’s right…we think it has something to do with her powers…therefore, we must keep an eye on her…” Fabiola takes a few steps forward; “Of all the times for Father Clemente to go to a meeting…I wish Uriel were here…”

“There she goes again with Uriel…” Mariana sighs, Abril chuckles; “I doubt she will manage to get his attention with those tiny boobs of hers…”

Fabiola overhears them and takes out her Lance saying: “I heard you!!!”

(GGYYAAHHHH)

The girls run away from Fabiola as she chases them with the spear. They run around the yard; “COME HERE!!!”

Daniel opens the window of his room; “Hey girls, you are making too much noise can you please be quiet…Estrella tries to sleep and you are distracting me…”

The girls stop with the chase. Mariana and Abril nod with their faces blushing. Fabiola hits both of them in their heads:

“Sorry Daniel”

“Thank you” Daniel is about to close his window however Fabiola quickly shouts:

“Wait, Can I talk to you for a second?” Daniel stops and replies:

“Sure come on over” Mariana and Abril see her with rage, Fabiola sticks her tongue out:

“You deserved it…”

Daniel’s Room

In Daniel's room, Fabiola sits in the bed as Daniel works on his computer at his desk:

“So, what did you want to talk about?”

Daniel is a 14 years old boy, with a thin body. He wears glasses, and he always has a typical teenage face, always looking bored. He has reddish hair just like his mother, and green eyes.

“It’s about your brother.” Fabiola says with a shaky voice.

Daniel stops typing, turns around and replies:

“Look I don’t know if you are his type, he has strange tastes so please ask Valerie”

“N-N-NO IT’S NOT THAT SHEESH!!” Fabiola screams with her face red. Daniel sighs as he continues typing:

“So what is it then?”

“It’s about his abilities. I heard your mother talking with Father Clemente and she mentioned that Uriel’s powers increase each day, however, there is a catch…” Fabiola looks worried:

“She said that he loses his humanity with each day…is that true?”

“Perhaps…”Daniel continues to type; “The powers of El Charro Negro are a mystery to me as well…Uriel is different from us, but the truth is that my mother and Valerie trust him and treat him like family…accoding to my mom, he was originally our brother but to be honest…”

“Aren’t you two worry about him turning evil?” Fabiola asks with a worried face. Daniel stops typing and sees Fabiola:

“Of course we are, that’s why I have a contingency plan for that…and I am sure that the church has one as well…” Daniel takes out his phone:

“Look…” Daniel shows Fabiola a post on Social Media; “QUETZALCOATL HAS RETURNED!!!”

“Wait, what is this?”

“It appears there was an incident in Mexico where a giant serpent appears…knowing the location and the time, I’d say Uriel was involved in this…I lost track of him this afternoon meaning that my hypothesis is true…also Father Clemente was called by the Bishop…meaning that something has happened…”

“Then, do you think he is alright?”

“He is…Uriel won’t die that easily…For now, let’s concentrate on Estrella, there might be something wrong with her…I believe that it has to do with the amount of mana she has on her body…”

Fabiola looks surprised; “Really, I also thought the same…”

“I see…so you are smart after all…” Daniel mocks her. Fabiola puffs her cheeks; “HEY!!!”

“Don’t worry, I am sure she is going to be okay, mother and Sister Carilina went to buy some ingredients to help her…and I also came up with a way to help her…”

Fabiola smiles at him; “Thank you I feel much better”

“You’re welcome, now you may leave, I need to finish this research and please tell your sisters to stop your ears dropping… I can see their shadows in the door.” Daniel says to Fabiola who opens the door, causing both her sisters to fall.

“So you were ears dropping ehh” Fabiola takes out her lance once again and begins to chase them as they scream:

“WE’RE SORRY”

Daniel looks at his monitor; “This sensation…something is wrong…it’s as if…a catastrophe is approaching…”

In Estrella’s room, Estrella moves around as she breathes heavily. Estrella hears someone calling for her:

“Estrella…It’s time….”

(BADUMP)

Estrella opens her eyes as a purple mana emerges from her body.

Sun City, Chinese Restaurant.

As the cloud in the sky covered the moon, Valerie Di Fiore decided to go on a girl’s night out with her friends Tatiana and Ramona….They decided to eat at the Chinese restaurant to celebrate that the two girls passed their exams to graduate….

“So then when are you going to take me with your brother ehh…I heard he’s very popular with the girls…” Tatiana teases Valerie. Valerie chuckles:

“Well you can talk to him if you like but…he is a serious guy and not very friendly…besides, you have to get in line…he even has Ms. Miyazono and the nurse drooling over him…”

Valerie Di Fiore is Uriel and Daniel’s sister. She has pale colored skin with blue eyes and light purple colored hair. She has a slim body and a nice figure and an extrovert personality.

“Really? The teacher and the nurse…oh man, they have huge boobs…I have no chance…” Tatiana jokes around and the girls laugh as well.

Tatiana (Age 17 ), is a student that goes to the same school as Valerie, but she is a Senior. She has black hair and brown eyes, a white skin and a slim well developed body. She has a tomboyish personality and is a close friend to Valerie.

“Aww man, I wish I could have a handsome man living with me. I'm so jealous of you!” Ramona blushes thinking about Uriel.

Ramona (Age 16) also goes to the same school and she is a Junior. She has white skin, green eyes and green hair, and a well-developed body. She is very shy but likes to hang out with Valerie and Tatiana.

“Well that’s not true, he might be a good person but he is also strict with me, he tries to be my father sometimes.” Valerie finishes eating.

“Well that’s a good thing, my brother doesn’t want to talk to me.” Tatiana tells Valerie as she eats a chicken.

“Well that’s true he might be a clumsy, strict idiot, but I do love him…and he even rented an apartment for me…so that I wouldn’t have to take the lines to cross…. although he often has fights with Daniel…” Valerie says as she lowers her head.

“Oh yeah you have a younger brother as well, you are lucky...I wish I had siblings of my own…” Valerie looks at the glass of water and begins to think:

“Well I hope he is alright, right now he is in Mexico.”

“Oh yeah, he went with the other classmates right? I, like, wanted to go too…but they chose Marjorie to go…she is such a show off…”

“Oh yeah, man she acts all nice and stuff…I hate her…” Ramona and Tatiana chuckle, Valerie chuckles as well:

“I know right, she’s been coming to our apartment lately…she really wants to hit on my brother…”

“Really? What a bitch, she has Aleister right?” Tatiana exclaims, Valerie drinks as she thinks; “Well, I heard they broke up…but I don’t care, that’s Uriel’s problem…”

“Speaking of lovey dovey…what’s your relationship with Alejandro?”

Valerie spits the water and her face turns red; “W-W-What do you mean?”

“Hahaha…you can’t fool us…we know that you and him have something…are you two dating?” Ramona teases Valerie. Valerie looks nervous:

“N-N-No…he and I are close friends that’s all…”

“Hahaha…yeah right….”

“It’s true…and…”

(BBRRR)

Valerie’s phone receives a message, Valerie takes it out and reads it; “It’s from Daniel?”

“Look at the news, there was an event in Mexico…”

“What the…”

“Hey look…” Tatiana points at the monitor; “Quetzalcoatl Attacks…”

Valerie and her friends look at Quetzalcoatl’s attack. Valerie tries to call Daniel.

“WHAT’S HAPPENING OVER THERE!” Ramona points at the mountains from afar. Lighting falls into the mountains, and create an electrical shockwave. Suddenly the light turn go off and everyone panics.

“What do we do?” Tatiana looks scared, Valerie stands up and grabs both of their hands; “We must avoid the crowd, come with me…”

Valerie and her frinds manage to exit the restaurant, the goes into panic, Valerie and her friends head for safety.

“What is going on?” Ramona looks nervous, Valerie looks at the amount of lightning as she thinks; “This is strange, I must get a hold of Yggdrasil.” Valerie looks at the sky thinking:

“Uriel…”

Valerie and her friends face a black out caused by a lightning storm…however, that’s a story for another time…

10 minutes prior to the black out that affected the Borderland, Father Clemente was summoned by the Bishop….At the Cathedral, the church is high alert due to the attack on Mexico…

“You wanted to see me, Bishop?” Father Clemente enters the Bishop’s office.

Father Clemente is a 50 year old priest. Despite his age, he is very strong and looks young. He has white hair and a white beard. He is in charge of the church and he is a member of the Order of the Holy Cross.

“Yes, I wanted to talk to you about something important…” Bishop Adrian takes out a tablet.

Bishop Adrian is a 65 year old priest. He is in charge of the Catholic Church in Rio Grande City. He has white hair and long white beard, he wears glasses and dresses with the Bishop Attire.

“This was recorded this afternoon in Mexico…” The Bishop shows the video of Uriel fighting Quetzalcoatl. Father Clemente opens his eyes wider; “That boy…he went himself and got into trouble again…”

“Indeed he has…the Archbishop has sent agents of both orders to deal with him…I called you here because we had an agreement…you said that if he caused trouble again, you would kill him…I just wanted to know if you are still up for the job…”

Father Clemente trembles as he has doubts on his mind. He opens his eyes with determination:

“I said before and I will say it again, he is my responsibility and if it’s necessary, I will go there myself and kill him…”

Bishop Adrian smiles; “That’s what I wanted to hear…but don’t worry, he wasn’t the cause of the trouble…”

Father Clemente looks confused; “What are you saying?”

“It appears the Aztec God rampaged on Xochimilco and Uriel Di Fiore stopped him…he defended the lives of the people there and managed to control the beast…”

“He did?”

“Indeed…however, his whereabouts are unknown…”

Father Clemente sits on the chair as he sweats; “What a relief…I thought that boy…” Father Clemente stands up; “Forgive me…”

“No need…I understand that you care for the boy…and right he has proven to be an ally of the church…I guess that’s because of Maria am I right?”

“To be honest, I don’t know his motives, but Uriel has proven to be much help at the Ministry…”

“I am glad to hear that…for now, let’s wait until he returns and…”

Suddenly, the lights go off. Father Clemente and the Bishop stand up; “What’s going on?”

(BEEP BEEP BEEP)

The Bishop looks at his tablet; “We have a reading…Sombras have appeared in the city…and a large amount…” The Bishop opens his eyes wider:

“This can’t be…”

Father Clemente looks nervous; “Where did they appear?”

The Bishop looks at him with frightened eyes; “They appeared in the Ministry of San Juan…”

Ministry of San Juan…

At the same time…the lights went off at the Ministry…

“What happened?” Fabiola looks around, Mariana and Abril looks scared; “Sister, what happened?”

“I don’t know…but we must check on the others…who else is in the Ministry…” Fabiola asks desperately.

“The only ones here right now are us, Estrella and Daniel…the workers returned home and the others are not here…”

“Okay, Sisters, go check on Estrella, I will go for Daniel and see what’s happening…”

“Right…” The Sisters leave the kitchen head to search for the others.

Meanwhile…

Daniel holds a flashlight as he looks around; “That’s strange…before the lights went out, I had a weird reading near Thunderbird Mountain…and an enormous amount of mana appeared there…but…”

Daniel looks at the ceiling; “The barrier my mother put on…it’s…gone…”

Daniel feels someone behind; “Who’s there…” Daniel points the flashlight and in an instant he sees someone in front of him; “You’re…”

In a blink of an eye, the figure disappears and knocks Daniel unconscious. The figure disappears without warning.

“Daniel…” Fabiola runs to his room, suddenly, she sees Daniel unconscious; “Daniel, what happened? Daniel…”

At the same time…

“Estrella, are you okay?” Mariana and Abril arrive at Estrella 's room. They open the door:

“Estrella…”

Suddenly, both of them open their eyes wider because Estrella is not there. Abril removes the sheets; “She’s not here…”

“Where could she have…”

“Mariana, she’s over there…” Abril points at the window, they see Estrella walking towards the middle of the courtyard; “Let’s hurry…” Mariana and Abril run towards her; “Estrella, are you okay? What are you doing?” The girl noticed something strange on her. Estrella turns around and has weird markings on her face. Mariana with fear extends her hand; “E-E-Estrella…”

“S-S-Sisters…run…”

Suddenly, Estrella releases an enormous amount of mana creating a pillar that reaches the sky. -RRAAWWW- At that moment, Sombras begin to gather around the Ministry. Abril and Mariana only observe with fear:

“Someone…help…”

Rio Grande City…

A few moments before the blackout, Maria and Sister Carolina walked down the street as they headed to the Ministry…Little did they know that they were about to meet an ominous presence…

“Thank you for helping me Maria.” Sister Carolina and Maria walk down the street.

Sister Carolina is a 30 year old nun. She has black hair with dark green eyes. She was a student of Maria until 5 years ago when the tragedy happened.

“It’s nothing, I’m glad to help.” Maria replies as she carries the grocery bags; “I’m sure that with this, Estrella will feel better…”

Maria Di Fiore (age 40) is a beautiful woman with light brown skin, red hair and blue eyes. She has a well developed body with curves and a large breast.

The two of them walk down a crowded street with few lights uphill to the Ministry of San Juan.

“Tobe honest, I am really worried, that fever isn’t normal…Maria what do you think is happening…” Maria looks at Sister Carolina and sighs; “I don’t know, our miracles did not have any effect on her…” Maria looks at the sky:

“I hope my son is doing fine…I bet if he were here, he would immediately cure her…”

“I’m sure he is Maria, he is having fun at this moment.” Carolina replies smiling.

“You are right, when he returns I’ll make a special dish just for him.” The two of them chuckle.

At that moment, the lights go off and the city goes into a blackout. Maria looks around; “What happened? A blackout?”

“I don’t know…but I have a bad sensation, Maria…we should hurry to the Ministry…”

Suddenly, both of them sense a strong mana approaching them. They turn around and notice that all the people walking in the street are gone. The lights begin to turn on and off.

“Maria, what’s going on?” Sister Carolina trembles upon sensing the enormous amount of mana.

“I don’t know…but be on your guard…it’s coming…”

At that moment a black portal opens beneath a street light. A figure comes out of the portal:

“Buenas Noches Señoritas”

“I-I-It can’t be…” Sister Carolina takes a few steps back.

(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)

Maria trembles with rage; “WHY…WHY ARE YOU HERE?”

The figure walks towards them as he stands into the light. The figure is a man with pale skin, no hair and sunglasses. He is wearing a black suit as he formally presents himself:

“It’s been a long time…Maria…how have you been?”

-TCH- “Darius Lucifugus…”

The man’s name is Darius Lucifugus, 50 years old, a banker who came from Eastern Europe and serves as an ambassador for that region and he is currently the mayor of Sun City…

“Pardon, but I came here to speak with Maria…” Darius acts courteous, Maria looks around; “Was this your doing?”

“Oh no, I have nothing to do with this…” Darius extends his hand; “You see, I came here to negotiate…”

“What kind of negotiation?” Maria glares at him, Carolina stands behind her shaking as well.

“Well it is something simple really, I want you to work for me.” Darius points at Maria. Maria and Carolina are stunned to hear those words; “Are you crazy?”

Darius chuckles; “Indeed… I am…what I want is for your cooperation.” Darius replies as he chuckles. He continues with the explanation; “ You see, I am going to put into motion an important project…and for that, I need something that’s in your mind…”

“My mind?” Maria looks confused. Darius points at his head; “Correct, I need a certain information that Roberto shared with you…I investigated with several people involved with you and I noticed that he only shared that information with you…the location of an important object, an object that allows the user to control the power of the Golden Keys…”

“I don´t know what you are talking about” Maria replies to Darius, he sighs; “Don´t play dumb with me, Roberto knew the location of the 7 cities and but he also learn the truth about their power and the object I am looking for…” Darius takes out a cigarette; “You think I didn’t notice…You came to my office a few weeks ago and tried to attack one of my employees…” Maria opens her eyes wider, Sister Carolina also looks with shock; “Maria, when did you…”

Maria bites her lower lip out of rage, and begins to chuckle; “It’s all true, I want to kill you and take revenge on what you did to me and my family…” Maria prepares to chant:

“En el nombre del señor defiéndeme” (In the name of our lord, protect me)

She extends both of her arms and calls; “Lanza divina de Santa Rita” ( Divine Lance of Santa Rita)

A white lance appears before her hands. The lance has a white staff, the blade is platinum and a cross is tied next to the blade. Maria points the lance at Darius:

“Prepare yourself”

“Splendid, that Lance never changes.” Darius laughs and scratches her head; “Well that´s too bad, I thought you were a reasonable person but okay let´s do this then I will destroy your ministry with this.”

(PPPUMMM)

At that moment, a pillar emerges from the distance. Sister Carolina looks frightened; “It’s coming from the ministry…”

-TCH- Maria releases an enormous amount of mana, creating a massive wind current:

“YOU…DAMN YOU…I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!”

“M-M-Maria…wait…” Maria makes her lance appear and charge straight to the man screaming; “I WILL KILL YOU…DARIUS LUCIFUGUS!”

(BBBOOOOOMMM)

Maria clashes with Darius; “Carolina… run…go towards the Ministry…” Sister Carolina looks scared; “But…” Maria interrupts; “You go on ahead and stop the specters Carolina, I will kill this bastard”

Carolina nods at Maria and runs as fast as she can to the Ministry. The moment she passes next to Darius, Darius chants in a low tone:

“Eliberare” (liberation)

Carolina is running, breathing heavily, but the moment she remembers the wordDarius said, her head begins to hurt really hard, also her heart raises and she begins to shake. She takes out her rosary but she collapses a few streets before reaching the ministry.

A hooded figure reaches her; “I found you…Sister…” The clouds reveal the figure to be El Muerto with a red stripe in the mask.

Maria steps back and extends her hand; “Viento Divino; Balas” (Divine Wind; Bullets)

Maria releases wind attacks towards Darius. Darius chuckles; “Those attacks won’t reach me…” -BBOOMM- Darius releases mana, disintegrating the attack. Maria jumps back and attacks Darius with wind blades, however, Darius mana prevents any attack to reach him.

Maria charges straight at him preparing to attack, Darius with great speed appears in front of her and with a small movement, he pushes her back with just using his mana. Maria breathes heavily.

“Come on Maria, is that all the power you have?” Darius lifts his arm and opens a great portal; “I guess it’s the perfect opportunity to see its abilities…” The portal makes a figure appear, Maria opens her eyes wider. Suddenly a 7 feet golem comes out of the portal. It is gray in color, it has huge muscles, and the face is similar to a lion with glowing yellow eyes. It has fangs and claws, the golem roars:

“Do you like it? It is one of my creations, the golem; Distrugător (Destructor.)

“W-W-What is that?” Maria is in shock, she takes her distance but the golem charges straight at her.

The ministry is surrounded by Sombras. -RRAAWW- Estrella cries as she roars. Fabiola charges at the Sombras; “En el nombre del Santo Protégeme: Lanza Divina de Santa Inés” (In the name of the father protect me: Divine Lance of Saint Ines)

A spear with a white staff and a silver blade appears in her hands. -SSLLLASSHHH- Fabiola slashes the Sombras. Mariana and Abril protect themselves using mana shields. Fabiola looks at them; “You two stay there…I swear I will protect you…” Mariana looks at Estrella; “But what about Estrella, we must help her…” Abril grabs her roughly; “You idiot, we must protect ourselves first…”

Fabiola looks at Estrella; “What happened to her? Is someone controlling her?” -TCH- “ESTRELLA SNAP OUT OF IT SISTER!” Fabiola screams as she continues to fight the Sombras; “Daniel where are you?”

(GGYYAAHH)

The Sombras break the sister’s barrier and grab them. “SISTERS!” Fabiola gets distracted and she is attacked by the Sombras as well; “GGYYAAHH! SOME ONE HELP!”

(BADUMP BADUMP)

“WAKE UP! DANIEL WAKE UP!

Daniel, who was unconscious, hears a voice calling him Daniel wakes up and immediately stands up. He hears a beeping sound coming from his computer. He sees the red light coming out of the monitor; “DANGER.”

(BBBBOOOMMM)

Daniel blows up the wall of his bedroom, he sees Estrella in the middle of the courtyard and the girls gettting attacked:

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!”

Daniel lifts his hand and creates a mana sphere. -BBBOOMMM- Daniel releases red mana rays immediately destroying all of the Sombras in an instant. Daniel jumps towards Fabiola; “Where are Carolina and my mom?”

“We don’t know, they were supposed to go shopping but they haven’t shown up yet. I’m scared.”

“Are you alright?” Daniel asks Fabiola, holding her in his arms.

“He’s fast, I did not see him move” Fabiola thinks to herself. Daniel puts her down, and Fabiola says embarrassed; “T-T-Thank you!”

More Sombras attack the Ministry; “Step back a little” Daniel extends his arm charging manna in the palm of his hand. “Ladrido Rojo” (RED BARK) The mana turns red and a ray of energy disintegrates the Sombras completely.

“How did you do that?” Fabiola asks Daniel. He turns around:

“Uriel isn’t the only one special around here.”

Daniel notices Fabiola; “It appears she’s been possessed…” Mariana hugs his arm; “Please help her…She is my sister…”

Daniel looks at his arm and a small screen showing the map at the city shows three white dots; “I see Valerie is still at the restaurant, however my mother and Carolina are nearby.” Daniel looks at two black dots in the map and says: “This is bad, there are others with them and I need to hurry!”

Daniel puts the palm of his hand on the floor; “Hound Barrier” -RRAAWW- Daniel creates a red barrier blocking Estrella’s powers. Estrella tries to break free. -TCH- “What a pain!” Daniel puts his hand on the barrier; “Duerme!” (Sleep) Daniel knocks Estrella unconscious, Estrella stops releasing mana.

“ESTRELLA!” Mariana runs towards the barrier. Daniel stops her; “I’ll deal with her later…You girls put a barrier…this is something that was planned…”

“Plan, by who?”

Daniel runs towards Maria; “Mother…”

(BOOOOOMMM)

The golem keeps attacking multiple times with Maria dodging it. Maria's counter attack slashes the golem´s back. However the golem moves it´s arm and punches Maria making her fly back and hit the post. Maria spits blood, as she falls the golem kicks her sending her flying and the golem jumps in to punch,

“Viento remolino” (Wind swirl) Maria creates wind around her avoiding the attack, but the golem is fast enough to make a kick at Maria, slamming her in the ground.

(BOOOOOMMMM)

Maria begins to bleed in her head as she stands up breathing heavily. Darius chuckles; “Maria, you’re no match for my golem…I’ll make you a deal…how about you become my mistress…and your family will never suffer again…”

Maria stands up and spits out blood; “I'm just getting started.” Maria lifts her hand, the lance that was in mid air begins to fall at great speed and stabs the golem´s stomach making a hole in it.

(SSLLLASSHHH)

Maria notices something; “So it's made of clay ehh” Maria calls her lance, the lance returns to her hand. Maria extends her other hand; “Viento divino fórmate en el nombre del señor: Lanzas de ciclón!” (Divine wind form in the name of our lord: Cyclone spear.)

Four spears are formed from the wind. They have large blades and the wind begins to blow faster. Maria points at the golem; “Now die!” The spears head towards the golem at fast speed connecting.

(CCCCRRRAAASSSSHHHHH,BBBBOOOOMMM)

The explosion creates a massive wind current, blowing up some of the cars surrounding them, forming a small tornado. Maria charges straight at Darius; “DDAARRIIUUUSSS!”

(RRRRAAAAWWWW)

Darius chuckles; “You let your guard down…Maria…” The golem screams as it comes out of the cloud with only one arm and tackles Maria sending her to a wall.

Maria points at the golem´s hole. The golem´s hole had a small ball of wind. She makes a fist and chants:

“Viento Divino: Expandir” (Divine wind: Expand)

The ball expands to the point it crashes the golem. Maria smiles as she breathes heavily; “Well now it's your turn.”

She grabs her spear and runs straight to Darius however she hears the golems roar and turns around.

(CCCRRRAAASSSH)

The golem hits Maria once again slamming her to the ground making her body to bleed severely and breaking her left arm; “KKKYYYAAAAHHHHH!”

Maria screams grabbing her left arm. Darius walks towards her; “A golem can´t be killed that easily, not unless the heart's still beating, it will reform again.”

Maria sees the golem´s chest beating, and determines that the heart is located there. The golem grabs Maria's neck and begins to choke her.

“KKKYYYYAAAAHHHH!” Maria screams as she is being strangled. Darius walks towards her and grabs her hand; “This is your last to become my mistress or die, since I am generous, I will give you 5 seconds.!”

Maria begins to faints as Darius begins to count; 5

She remembers her children Uriel, Daniel and Valerie standing there watching her worried. 4

She begins to see the sisters calling her name. 3

She sees Roberto who is smiling at her. 2

“Roberto I´m coming to see you” Maria says as she closes her eyes; “Don't give up Maria” Maria hears Roberto’s voice calling for her; “R-R-Roberto?”

“MMMAAAARRRRIAAA!!!!” Roberto screams her name as Maria faints.

“You must fight; protect the children, the sisters and the PORNOGRAPHY!!” Roberto shouts to Maria provoking her; “Shut up you pervert!” 1

(AAAWWOOOO!!)

Darius hears a wolf howling. He turns around and sees a green-colored wolf at the top of a building; “Is that wolf?”

(BBBBBBOOOMMMM)

Maria opens her eyes and gathers wind, creating a huge tornado. Darius backs away from her. Maria uses the wind and blows the golem away several buildings afar.

(BBBOOOMMM)

Maria coughs many times as she feels Roberto´s presence:

“ESA ES MI BELLA FLOR!” (That's my beautiful flower)

Maria sheds tears; “Roberto.” Maria gathers mana around her. Maria looks with determined eyes as she begins floats:

“Sorry my children I was weak but not anymore!”

She summons her lance and puts one foot in front of the the other making a stance and puts the lance straight as she chants:

“En el nombre de mi señor te libero; FORMA DIVINA- RITA!” (In the name of our lord I release you: DIVINE FORM -RITA”

The cross in the spear shines, suddenly Maria shines as well, her hair changes into a golden color along with her eyes that glow a golden color as well. Her dress changes from black to white with a yellow belt in her hips. Wings begin to grow in her back and a golden circular crown like an angel glows behind her.

(RRRRRAAAAWWW)

The golem immediately charges straight at hee and stands on Darius' side.

“Impressive…that’s the Divine Form used by the members of the Order…” Darius smiles; “You should become my mistress…You’re perfect Maria…”

The golem jumps to attack Maria. She dodges it with great speed and cuts the right arm and punches it with great force creating a giant crater with a huge explosion.

(BBBBBBOOOOMMMM)

Wind blows with high speed, Darius releases more Sombras to attack. Maria points with her lance at the Sombras:

“Lanzas de Viento” (Wind spears)

The spears attack all the Sombras, disappearing them in an instant.

Maria breathes heavily; " I am running out of time…I will end this with my next move…"

Maria prepares to throw her spear at the golem, she gathers mana at the spear causing it to grow. The spear takes the form of a long sword with a curve in its blade.

“PURIFICACION DE RITA” (Rita´s purification)

She swings her arm, releasing the spear towards the golem. The golem tries to arm the spear. The spear destroys the golems arm thanks to the rotation. The spear impacts the golem's heart creating a giant explosion in its heart with a golden light.

(BBBBOOOOMMMM)

Light shines with great intensity as Maria's attack disintegrates the golem. The light is expanding and it covers the city, wind accumulates the whole area making a small tornado.

"What's that light?" Daniel.runs towards that direction even though the wind pressure makes it difficult to move.

Daniel sees a rosary lying on the ground; "This belongs to Carolina…I must hurry…"

(AAAAHHHH)

Suddenly, wind breaks the windows and buildings causing a huge panic among the crowd.

The light finally clears along with the wind, the golem disappears. Maria floats in the air breathing heavily.

(CLAP CLAP CLAP)

Darius walks out of the smokescreen clapping; " What an incredible power…I made the right choice…"

Maria glares at Darius and points at him; “Now it’s your turn.”

"Hahaha…Go ahead and try…but let me ask you this; Why are you protecting someone like Uriel…You know he's the Horseman of War…he is even worse than a demon and yet…you treat him as your son…why?"

Maria gathers mana in her lance once again and points at Darius. Darius smiles thinking; “ If that thing hits me I will be killed. Good thing I always have an ace up my sleeve.”

Darius snaps his fingers. Suddenly, a figure appears from a distance and throws a lance towards Maria.

Maria notices and dodges;“Was that a LANCE?”

Maria lowers her guard. Suddenly, a portal opens behind her; "I'm sorry but I need you to stay out of my way…"

Darius summons a snake and immediately bites Maria's neck.

(BBBBOOOMMM)

"GGYYAHHH" Maria falls into the ground feeling pain. A purple pattern begins to expand in Maria’s body.

Her Divine Form disappears, Maria struggles. Darius walks towards her and touches her legs:

"Such a beautiful woman…what a waste that you have to die…and you never answered my question…why do you protect the Horseman of War?”

“Because…he is my…son…” Maria breathes heavily as the poison overwhelms her. Darius laughs; “Now that’s a heartwarming response…It is said that there is no cure Maria, I will not kill you right away, instead I will let you suffer. The poison will kill you in 3 days, you better hurry to find a cure because God will not save you on this occasion…now then, show me your memories…”

Darius puts his hand on Maria’s forehead and closes his eyes. Suddenly, purple mana shines in his hand, Maria’s eyes turn purple as Darius chants; “Căutare de memorie” (Memory Search)

“GYYAAHH!” Maria screams, after a few moments, Darius smiles; “I see…Mictlan…that’s where it is…”

(SSLLAASHHH)

At that moment, a fire blade attacks Darius. Darius dodges the attack, and senses someone appraoching his back; “YOU BASTARD!”

(SSSLLAASSHH)

Darius evades the attack once again. The person who attacked him is Father Clemente with a sword. Darius chuckles; “Oh, Father Clemente…it has been too long…”

“Darius…you demon..what did you do?”

“Oh nothing…just a little poison…but I hate it when people interfere with my conversation, so I will…”

At that moment, Darius notices that he is surrounded by agents of the Church; “I guess you didn’t come alone huh…” Darius opens a portal; “No matter…I already finished with my mission…thank you Maria…try to survive…my mistress…One more thing…blame Uriel for this…blame him for everything bad that it's about to happen…and this was for interfering with my plans…”

“Damn you!” Father Clemente shouts with fury. He notices Maria on the ground; “MARIA!” Father Clemente runs to her aid; “What is this? What did he do?”

“MAMA!!!” Daniel arrives at the scene to find Maria covered in blood with an arm having strange purple marking.

“MAMA WHAT HAPPENED, TALK TO ME PLEASE!” Daniel holds his mother. Father Clemente looks at him with a worried expression; “Daniel…”

Maria slowly opens her eyes; “Daniel I’m sorry.” Maria loses consciousness.

“Daniel what happened?” Fabiola arrives and sees Maria in Daniel’s arms. She covers her mouth as tears come out of her eyes; “T-T-Teacher…”

Daniel begins to cry:

“I did not make it in time damnit!! MAMA!!!!!” Daniel screams into the sky crying. Father Clemente and Fabiola call for an ambulance as Maria’s state gets worse. The sky begins to fill itself with clouds and it begins to rain in the borderland.

On that night…a series of events led to a tragedy…this was the darkest night in the Borderland…
