At the same time that Uriel encounters la Llorona and learns about her past and the truth of the Conquest of Mexico…Kasumi, Alejandro and Johanna face off against two members of the Orders of the Holy Maiden and the Holy Cross…

An intense battle takes place outside the Hotel. Kasumi battles against Sister Veronica.

Kasumi’s esper suit consists of an orange kimono with blacklines around the borders of the kimono.

Sister Veronica utilizes her Holy Lance named:

Sister Veronica (Age 17) is a young woman who is part of Order. She has a slim body, brown skin, short black hair and yellow eyes; she has a tomboyish personality. She is currently wearing a nun’s attire without her head piece.

“They’re too fast, my eyes can barely keep up…” Alejandro thinks to himself as he holds Xochitl tightly. Alejandro protects Xochitl from Giovanni. However, Giovanni is also spectating the battle. Next to Alejandro, Johanna looks with enthusiasm.

“Alejandro, I’m scared…” Xochitl, a girl with Aztec origins, holds Alejandro as she hears the thunder sounds that Sister Veronica makes as she attacks.

Xochitl (Age 8) she has long brown hair with pinkish colored eyes and brown skin. She is wearing a small brown dress with some decorations and sandals.

Alejandro looks at Xochitl, and smiles; “Stay calm, I will protect you…besides, my senpai is not going to lose…”

“Haha…you sure are confident about your superior, giovanotto” (Young lad) Giovanni approaches them drinking from his container.

Giovanni Piedmont...a Silver Rank member of the Order of the Holy Cross…The man has black hair, green eyes, light brown skin and he is around his 30’s.

Alejandro moves Xochitl behind him; “I won’t let you have her…”

“Relax…I’m not interested in fighting…besides, it’s Veronica’s orders, not mine…I have a different one…”

“Oh and what are those orders?” Johanna asks Giovanni with suspicion. Giovanni winks at her; “That’s a secret bella signora (Pretty lady). For now, let’s just focus on this battle…”

Sister Veronica attacks multiple times by thrusting her lance forward. Kasumi blocks every attack with her katana matching Veronica’s speed. Sister Veronica jumps back to gain impulse and charges forward.

(BBOOOMM)

Veronica’s movements sound like thunder hitting the ground.Kasumi notices her great, she jumps to the side trying to avoid the attack.

“I GOT YOU!” Sister Veronica attacks Kasumi, managing to cut her in her left hip.

(SSSLLLAASSHHHH)

“You’re really fast…” Kasumi, who bleeds from her hip, chuckles. Sister Veronica surrounds herself with lightning and smiles:

“You’re not bad either…Kasumi Miyazono…”

“Her mana is surrounding her, almost like an armor…I must calculate every move she makes, otherwise…I’m dead…”

(DRIP DRIP DROP DROP)

rClouds cover the moon and rain begins to fall. Kasumi takes a kendo stance consisting of putting one leg in front of the other, she grabs her katana with both hands and relaxes her body; “For opponents with great speed, I must concentrate on every movement…it kind of reminds me of his rhythm sense…”

Kasumi chuckles as she remembers Uriel’s technique. Alejandro notices her stance; “Senpai, are you trying that move?”

Sister Veronica notices that Kasumi isn’t moving at all. -TCH- Sister Veronica gets angry; “Are you mocking me? Very well…take this…”

Sister Veronica moves with great speed and moves to different directions at the same time. Kasumi stands in the same position with her eyes closed; “I can feel her every move…she will attack…now…”

(PPUUMMM)

A flash hits Kasumi, but Kasumi remains in the same position. Sister Veronica notices; “What the, I know I hit her…how did she?”

(PUM PUM PUM PUM)

Multiple flashes hit Kasumi with great speed, Kasumi maintains her position however, the ground is covered in slashes from the impact.

“Magnifico…she’s not moving at all…but I can tell that she is blocking Veronica’s attacks with ease…”

“You’re wrong…look at the ground where her feet are…” Alejandro points at the ground. Giovanni concentrates and notices footsteps surrounding Kasumi; “No way…she’s actually moving at great speed?”

“Fufufu, she is…Sister Veronica may move at the speed of lightning, but Kasumi…can equal her speed and in fact…she can move faster…”

(PUM PUM PUM)

Kasumi blocks every attack with her attack as she thinks; “Good, I’m keeping up with her speed…thank you Uriel…”

“What is happening? Why is she blocking my attacks? My attacks should be the fastests?” Sister Veronica notices a small barrier of water surrounding Kasumi; “No way…is that a water barrier?”

“Miyazono sutairu: Mizu no rizumubaria” (Miyazono Style; Water Rhythm Barrier) Kasumi feels an attack from behind and blocks it.-PPUUMM- “By using Uriel’s rhythm sense as inspiration, and the rain as an advantage, I am able to create a small barrier of water, the moment the water stirs, I am able to react using this next movement.”

Kasumi feels multiple attacks and blocks them with ease; “Miyazono sutairu: Kiji no Odori” (Miyazono Style: Pheasant Dance)

Kasumi blocks Sister Veronica’s attacks. Sister Veronica jumps back breathing heavily. Alejandro reacts with enthusiasm; “Awesome, senpai, managed to block all of her attacks. Sister Veronica gets angry:

“What the hell? How are you doing that? You bimbo…”

“Bimbo? Hey, a Sister must not curse like that…” Kasumi screams while hugging her boobs. Sister Veronica takes a battle stance once again. Kasumi looks at her and asks; “Why are you eager to start a war? You know that if we continue this fight, we’re going to create an international affair?”

“Shut up, I already know…but I don’t care…”

“Why?” Kasumi looks preoccupied. “The reason is…the reason is…” Sister Veronica looks angrier. Everyone expects an answer.

“WWWHHHAATTT?” Kasumi, Giovanni and Alejandro scream with surprise. Johanna begins to laugh; “Now I get…well, that solves many things…”

“The battlefield remained silent as the rain continued to fall. Alejandro and Giovanni look at Kasumi and Veronica standing at a distance. Kasumi has her katana inside the scabbard and Veronica with her lance extended.

Sister Veronica’s lance breaks in half as she falls to her knees. Giovanni looks impressed; “Incredible, she drew her katana and put it back in an instant…what speed and precision…”

“Senpai is the strongest among us…she is an Elite Root after all…” Alejandro comments with pride. Katana takes a deep breath and stands straight; “I only cut your lance, I spare your life…now leave…”

“Fool” Sister Veronica smiles, Kasumi turns around.-SSLLAASSHH- Sister Veronica makes a cut on her arm. Kasumi jumps back; “How?” Sister Veronica chuckles; “You see…you should have aimed for the head…”

Sister Veronica is revealed to have two lances; “My lance can divide itself…so cutting it was useless…” Sister Veronica begins to chant; “En el nombre del Señor, trae el juicio a los pecadores…” (In the name of the Lord, bring judgment upon sinners…) Sisters Veronica’s lance splits into dozens of lances floating and charged with lightning.

“It can’t be…” Kasumi looks like she is surrounded. Giovanni sighs; “She’s a goner…”

“Now, take this, you sinner…Juicio de los Pétalos de Rayo” (Judgment of the Lightning Petals) Veronica orders the lance to attack. The dozens of lances attack Kasumi at the same time.

“SSSEENNPPAIII!!!” Alejandro screams as a giant explosion hits the place. As the dust cloud clears, the lances are in the ground, Kasumi breathes heavily as she holds two katanas.

“She blocked the attack? Incredible!” Giovanni looks impressed, Alejandro hugs Xochitl; “She did it!”

“Fufufu…Kasumi, don’t scare me like that…'' Johanna feels relieved. -TCH- Veronica looks angry; “HOW? WHY DO YOU HAVE TWO!?”

“Well…you’re not the only one with tricks…”

-TCH- Sister Veronica extends her arm, the lances turn into mana and gather in her hand, turning into one lance, once again. Sister Veronica gathers all of her mana in her lance; “I am going to finish this with one last attack.”

Kasumi releases an giant aura of orange mana; “If you insists on fighting…I have no choice but to kill you…” Kasumi changes her expression to a serious one.

“Uh-oh, this is going to get ugly…Johanna, Xochitl, get behind me…” Alejandro closes his eyes; “Silver Barrier '' Alejandro creates a transparent silver barrier in order to protect the two of them.

“Damn, they are getting serious…” Giovanni stands behind them. Alejandro gets furious; “HEY, THIS BARRIER IS NOT FOR YOU! GET AWAY!”

“Haha…don’t be like that…”

Sister Veronica releases lighting; “Juicio del Rayo” (Lightning Judgement). Kasumi swings her sword downward releasing a powerful orange mana ray; “Kiji no ryakudatsu” (Pheasant Pillar)

Both of their attacks are in the course of collision. At that moment, a portal opens in the sky above the attacks:

“Barrera de Viento” (Wind Barrier)

Uriel and Marjorie fall straight in the middle where the attacks will collide. Uriel, holding Marjorie in his arms, extends his hand creating a giant wind barrier. “Hold on Marjorie” Uriel turns into his Charro Form, and uses his wind to slow the fall. Marjorie hugs him tighter.

The two attacks hit the barrier, the current goes upward sending both of the attacks to the sky. Kasumi and Sister Veronica look surprised. As the wind barrier unstables and releases wind to every direction, Alejandro tries to look:

“What happened? The attacks were…”

Alejandro opens his eyes wider, the wind current stops, revealing Uriel holding Marjorie at the epicenter. Alejandro with tears in his eyes screams:

“UUURRIIIEELLLL!”

“Uriel?” Kasumi looks at Uriel and smiles; “Uriel…you’re alive…thank…” Kasumi looks like he is holding Marjorie and her expression changes immediately; “Uriel, you damned gigolo…”

“That’s him…El Charro Negro…his appereance…he looks evil…” Sister Veronica smiles as she holds her lance trembling.

Uriel looks at Kasumi; “Kasumi, what are you doing? Do you want to start a war with the church?”

“N-N-No…it’s just…” Kasumi feels embarrassed. Uriel looks at Sister Veronica; “You are from the Order of the Holy Maiden right? Why are you attacking members of Yggdrasil? Do you want to destroy the hotel?”

“Shut up, I don’t have to answer you…” Sister Veronica also feels embarrassed. Uriel sighs, he lets go of Marjorie; “Marjorie, stay behind me…” Uriel makes a pistol appear and points directly at Giovanni. Giovanni nervously chuckles; “Whoa, calm down…I am also a member of the Order…”

“That I know, now move…” -BBANNNGG- Uriel shoots directly at Giovanni’s direction, the bullet passes next to him as it is blocked by someone behind the trees.

Uriel smiles; “I know you’re there…show yourself…” Alejandro and the others open their eyes wider as they see El Muerto coming out to the open; “Impressive, you noticed me in an instant…Charro Negro…”

El Muerto moves at great speed and pushes Alejandro away.-PPPUUMM- Alejandro looks in shock; “I didn’t see his movements…he’s fast…”

“I’m taking this girl with me…” EL Muerto grabs Xochitl’s hand; “NOO…ALEJANDRO!”

“XXXOOCCCHIIITTLLL!’ Alejandro screams. -CLICK- “Now hold just a minute there…you can’t just kidnap a girl, you pedophile…” Giovanni points a gun at El Muerto’s head. El Muerto chuckles; “This guy is fast!”

El Muerto releases an enormous amount of mana surprising Giovanni. Giovanni sighs; “Man, this is complicated…”

Alejandro appears and tries to punch him, El Muerto dodges, Alejandro uses the opportunity and grabs Xochitl jumping a distance away from El Muerto.

El Muerto with high speed appears in front of Alejandro.

Kasumi stands behind El Muerto with her katana. Kasumi swings her katana, El Muerto dodges the attack. - PPPUUMM-El Muerto kicks Kasumi, Kasumi steps back. El Muerto points at Alejandro, gathering mana in the tip of his fingers.

“DIE” El Muerto releases a small purple beam towards Alejandro.

“AAALLLLEEJJJAANNNDDDRROOO” Kasumi screams. At that moment Uriel makes his sword appear, with great speed he reflects the beam towards the water.

“Come with me girl, Ahide is waiting for you.”

“Adihe” Xochitl begins to walk towards El Muerto.

Xochitl tries to run, but Uriel stops her; “Wait…”

“But my brother, he is there!” Xochitl looks at Uriel with tears in her eyes. Uriel sighs; “I know…but still…”

Adihe extends his hand; “Xochitl…come with me...they are evil…” Xochitl, with a doubtful expression replies; “No...they are not evil…they saved me…brother…I”

“Stop Xochitl…they are allies of Cortes, they killed our mother…and destroyed our home…”

Uriel sighs and steps aside; “Go with him…Xochitl…I promise that I will come and rescue you…”

“Mis hijos…” (My Children) Uriel hears Marina’s voice, suddenly, his eyes turn yellow as he stretches his hand. Marina tries to move Uriel; “Wait, Marina…I promise that I will save them, but you need to be patient…”

Adihe and Xochitl look that behind Uriel, a sillouhette appears resembling their mother; “Mama…”

El Muerto closes the portal. Marina stops moving as Uriel thinks; “I promise I will save them…”

“Before I go, here is a present for accepting my terms.” El Muerto opens another portal and three people fall to the ground unconscious; Angela, Victoria and Raul.

“Everyone…” Marjorie runs and sees them, Johanna takes a look at them; “They are alright, just unconcious…”

“Thank goodness…” Marjorie smiles with tears in her eyes. Alejandro takes a deep breath and looks at Uriel; “It’s good to see that you’re alive…”

“I see…” Uriel smiles a little and fists bumps Alejandro.

“Uriel…” Uriel sees the others. Kasumi walks towards him; “I’m glad you’re safe…I heard that you fought Quetzalcoatl…and disappeared…”

“It’s a long story…” Uriel notices Kasumi’s cuts in her hip and her arm; “You got hurt…”

“Oh this…don’t worry…it will heal…” Uriel interrupts her by getting close to her. He grabs her hip and arm. Kasumi panics; “H-H-Hey, what are you doing?”

“WWHHHAATTTT?” Everyone screams except for Johanna; “Fufufu…how bold…”

Marjorie looks at him surprised; “What are you doing?”

Uriel whispers in Kasumi’s ear; “Don’t move…” Uriel closes his eyes and chants; “Curacion” (Healing)

Uriel heals Kasumi’s wounds. Sister Veronica notices; “He used one of our miracles…who is this guy?”

“I’m so jealous…” Giovanni cries out “blood”. Uriel opens his eyes and looks at Kasumi; “I healed, you should be fine…hhhmmpphh…Kasumi do you have a fever?”

Uriel notices Kasumi completely red and “blowing out steam”; “N-N-No, it’s nothing…don’t worry about it…”

“I see…”

“Anyway, thank you…” Kasumi hugs Uriel. At that moment, Marjorie pulls Uriel’s arm and hugs it; “Uriel, the teacher is fine…come with me…”

The clock said 10pm, everyone decided to have a conversation in the Hotel’s conference room…Ana Cortes explained the situation about Tezcatlipoca’s revival and Leticia’s “Death”...Victoria, Angela and Raul were taken to the hotel’s infirmary…

“I see…so Leticia is…” Uriel sighs as he looks at Ana. Ana glares at him with distrust.

Ana Cortes (Age 16) has black hair with silver eyes, and she has white skin and a slim body.

Kasumi looks at Uriel; “This is bad, one Aztec Deity gave you a lot of trouble…now a second one has revived…Uriel, what is our next move?”

“First we must locate where El Muerto has the hostages…we can move from there but first…” Uriel looks at Giovanni and Veronica; “What will you guys do?”

Kasumi and Alejandro went to check on their rooms. Everything looked normal, except for the fact that the room was destroyed…Kasumi also contacted Allan Carter and informed him about the situation…After that, she and Alejandro headed towards the Conference Room…

“So what did Mr. Carter say?” Alejandro asks Kasumi as they go down the elevator. Kasumi sighs; “He said that we should work together with the members of the church…they have authority here after all…”

“I see…well I guess we have no choice…”

“Mmmhhpphh…but I don’t like them, specially that girl…” Kasumi puffs her cheeks feeling anger. She looks at her boobs; “Hey Alejandro, are my boobs that big?”

“WWHHHAATTTT???” Alejandro panics and sees Kasumi touching her breasts. -BBBOOIINNGG- Alejandro immediately looks away.

“Well, answer me…that girl said that my boobs were enormous…”

The elevator opens, Alejandro runs out; “Thank goodness…I was going crazy…” Alejandro runs to the lobby. Suddenly, someone calls him; “Alejandro…”

Alejandro looks at the door and sees Dr. Ortiz, with some hotel employees, notices Alejandro and runs towards him. Alejandro opens his eyes wider and immediately tries to help him; “Dr. Ortiz…what happened to you? Where were you?”

Dr. Oscar Ortiz (Age 58) has white hair, white skin and brown eyes, and wears glasses. He is also the husband of Dr. Escobar.

“Alejandro, it’s terrible…my wife was kidnapped…and the students…” Dr. Ortiz is in a state of shock. Alejandro helps him sit on the couch in the lobby. Kasumi catches up to him; “Alejandro what’s wrong?”

“I found Dr. Ortiz at the doors…he was in a state of panic…”

“Dr. Ortiz, Dr. Ortiz, are you alright?” Kasumi touches Dr. Ortiz’ shoulder. Dr. Ortiz looks at Kasumi and tries to attack her; “YOU, BECAUSE OF YOU! MY WIFE WAS…”

Kasumi grabs his arm and slams him in the ground.-BBBOOOMMM- “That’s enough…” Kasumi holds his arm. Dr Ortiz comes to his senses; “Where am I?”

“It appears that you regain your senses…sorry for being this rough Doctor…”

“No, it’s okay…I was really panicked…I just witnessed Quetzalcoatl…and saw ''him ``”...”

“Who did you see?” Alejandro asks as he helps his teacher stand up. Dr. Ortiz looks at Alejandro; “Please take me to Uriel…I need to speak to him…”

“That is our report Sister Magdalena…” Sister Veronica comments through the phone. The phone has the speaker on giving the opportunity for Giovanni to hear.

“We have a tight situation at our hands…we have Yggdrasil and the Mages Association involved now…we have kidnapped civilians and agents…”

“Yes Sister”

“You are to return immediately…”

Sister Veronica looks at Giovanni surprised; “But why sister? I mean we are in position to help and…”

“Sister Veronica, you are in a situation that puts your life at risk…the two Deities can easily kill you…I am worried, once you return I will deploy more agents and your sisters will…”

“Sister Magdalena wait…we don’t have time…”

Sister Veronica feels anxious and weak, Giovanni takes a step forward and grabs her phone:

Giovanni closes his eyes and scratches his head; “Look little bambina (girl), right now we don’t have the power or the people to do something so stupid as to declare war against those two…you saw how powerful he is to the point that he reflected his attack with ease…”

Sister Veronica avoids looking at him; “Well, it’s just, I didn’t use my full power…that’s all…”

“Think about it, that giovanotto (Young man) may be the lover of Kasumi, or he could be the lover of one of the members of the Mages Associations…you don’t know that…now let’s say that you go and fight him…you will killed instantly and cause a great war…”

Sister Veronica remains speechless, she lowers her head; “I understand…”

“W–W-What are you doing here?” Uriel asks with a trembling voice. Marjorie and Ana look at a girl sitting at the end of the table, the girl eats a bag of chips looking at her cellphone.

Suddenly, both of them feel an enormous amount of mana coming from her. The pressure makes Ana fall into her knees; “What is this power…this girl, her mana is immense…”

“Sheesh…these chips are not good enough…I will have to fire that damn butler…” The girl stands up and walks towards them. Uriel once again asks; “What are you doing here, Alexa?”

“I came here to speak to you…Uriel…” Alexa replies with a face filled with disgusts.

Alexa de la Trinidad (Age 15), is the adopted child of Juan de la Trinidad. She has light brown skin similar to Uriel. She has a slim body and a normal height. She has hazel colored hair with a ponytail in which she holds a red ribbon and short bangs that are on her left side of the face.

“U-U-Uriel, who is this girl?” Marjorie asks with a shaky voice, Uriel looks at her and replies; “Her name is Alexa, she is my successor’s daughter…you could say that she is my cousin…”

Alexa formally presents herself; “It’s a pleasure, I am Alexa de la Trinidad, it’s quite an honor to be in the presence of members of M.A.G.I.C…sorry but I will have to speak with my cousin outside…if you excuse us…”

Alexa opens the door and goes outside. Uriel follows her, Marjorie grabs his arm; “Uriel…”

Uriel and Alexa they exchange a murderous look. Uriel sighs; “Fine, I’m sorry…he is my Predecessor after all…”

“Fair enough…” Alexa withdraws the sword:

“So tell me, who is that soul that's inside you”

Uriel recalls that Alexa can also use the rhythm sense and thinks; “So, she could probably use the Song Field as well…”

“Her name is Marina; I promised her that I would take her to see her children.” Uriel replies, Alexa sighs and puts away her sword:

“Ay Uriel, just like the “vampire situation in Guadalajara.” You are too nice, and El Charro Negro isn’t suppose to be like that…remember that we Charros must be soulless…but as long as it doesn´t interfere with my mission. Do as you like.”

“Alexa, where is your father and why does he want the Golden Key?”

“My father is in Argentina…and in regards to your other question…that’s a secret…” Alexa puts her finger in her lips and makes a cute face closing one eye.

“Now then…I will be going…” Alexa opens a crimson portal similar to Uriel; “Remember that I am the real successor.”

Alexa walks inside the portal and closes it. At that moment, Alejandro and Kasumi walk towards him with Dr. Ortiz.

“URIEL” Alejandro shouts, Uriel turns and sees them. Dr. Ortiz quickly runs towards him; “Uriel Di Fiore…Charro Negro…you must die…”

Dr. Ortiz takes out a knife and prepares to attack him. Kasumi and Alejandro are in shock; “WAIT DOCTOR!”

Dr. Ortiz stabs Uriel’s abdomen; “UUURRRIIIEELLL!!”

Uriel falls to one knee as blood comes out of his stomach and his mouth; “Damn it, Alexa left me distracted that I let my guard down.”

Alejandro quickly runs and grabs Dr. Ortiz from his shirt neck and slams him to the wall.

“What happened?” Marjorie and Ana come out of the room and see Uriel stabbed; “URIEL!” Marjorie and Ana run to help him. Kasumi is in shock upon seeing the situation and makes her katana appear and points it at Dr. Ortiz.

Alejandro with great anger demands an explanation:

“YOU BASTARD, WHY DID YOU STAB URIEL?”

“I’m sorry…I needed to do it because…because he ordered me to?”

“Who…who ordered you to?”

“El Muerto…he told me that I needed to kill El Charro Negro or else he would kill my wife…”

Kasumi and Alejandro are in shock upon hearing Dr. Ortiz’s words. Uriel chuckles; “Sorry to disappoint you but…killing me won’t be that easy…”

Uriel stands up and pulls the knife out of his stomach. Dr. Ortiz looks with shock; “But how? You should be dead? I hit a vital organ…”

“You did…but I can regenerate quickly…” Uriel cleans the blood from his mouth. He lifts his shirt and shows that the cut disappeared.

The girls immediately blush upon seeing Uriel’s six pack with Alejandro crying; “Man…I need to work out…”

“If you can’t die…then, my wife…my wife is going to be killed…” Dr. Ortiz cries. Uriel looks at Alejandro, Alejandro lets go of him. Uriel walks towards Dr. Ortiz and looks at him; “I’m sorry, I’m sorry…I went against my principles…please forgive me…”

“Is that so…well then, how about if I kill your wife right now…” El Muerto gathers green colored mana in his hand and he is about to attack Dr. Escobar.

“NNNOOOO…” Dr. Ortiz screams, El Muerto stops and chuckles; “Oh so you do care about her…alright, will you do as I say?”

“Yes…I will…but please let her go…”

“Good…don’t forget, I will be watching…” El Muerto disappears. Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Escobar are left with no choice as they see each other with fear.

Quetzalcoatl confronted Uriel…Dr. Ortiz got separated from the students as the fight raged on…He was pulled by the water current and saved by El Muerto…El Muerto gave Dr. Ortiz that knife…

“It appears that he isn’t dead…El Charro Negro is alive…” El Muerto comments, Dr. Ortiz looks frightened; “Please, I did what you asked me…let us go…”

“No…I decided to keep your wife as a hostage along with other students…and you…”

El Muerto gives Dr. Ortiz a knife, the knife has purple substance coming out, Dr. Ortiz looks at it; “What is this?”

“Poison, I want to verify something and you will help me…kill Uriel and I will give your wife back…”

Dr. Ortiz with tears in his eyes grabs the knife; “I will…”
