April 16th

The next day, the Professors decided to split the students into two groups. One will go to the Pyramids located at the north of Mexico City. The other will go to Xochimilco.

Johanna and Kasumi stayed at the hotel because Kasumi had poor health conditions…

As for the members of M.A.G.I.C. , they decided to avoid confronting Uriel, Uriel decided to ignore them as if nothing happened and keep their distance from them...

Xochimilco

Dr. Ortiz smiles and says; “Alright group we will split up at this point and go have fun! You have one hour and we will meet in that boat alright”

“AALLLLRRIIIGGGGHTTT” The guys’ scream of excitement, the girls begin to talk about shopping. The group then splits up and goes in different directions.

Uriel decided to go alone as he suspects Dr. Ortiz.

Marjorie, Marinette and Madeleine decided to explore the shopping district near the area. They walk by the stores buying clothes, accessories. The girls enjoy themselves. After they finish shopping the girls sit at a café to drink coffee.

Marjorie suddenly looks down thinking back on what happened last night. Marinette notices and asks:

“Marjorie, can I ask you something?”

“Sure, ask me what you want” Marjorie says as she drinks from her coffee.

“You love Uriel, don’t you?” Majorie spits her coffee feeling embarrassed, her face turns red and replies:

“I-I-I don’t know what you are talking about”

Madeleine teases her; “Don’t play dumb Marjorie, I saw you yesterday, your eyes were filled with love and how your eyes were full of sadness when he ignored you today…”

Marjorie’s head begins to “steam”: “It’s not what it looks like”

"Oh really? You know, he might be a demon but according to the School's social media page. He is the number one hottest guy...so.maybe I'll give it a try…" Madeleine teases Majorie. Marjorie stands up and raises her voice:

"NO WAIT!"

Everybody stares at her, Marjorie sits again embarrassed.

"The truth is that I do love him...I love Uriel…"

The twins blush upon hearing those words and seeing Majorie red as tomato; " So this is the face of a Maiden in Love."

"How did you fall for.him? I mean I always thought you and Alejandro…"

" Oh no, Alejandro and I are just friends...and I don't know...I fell for him the first time I saw him. It's a if I had loved him all my life…"

(GGGYYYAAHHH)

The twins look at her with enthusiasm, they stand up and grab Majorie's arm:

"There is nontime to waste, you must confess to him.right now...let's go…"

"W-W-Wait…"

The head there in search of Uriel…

On the boy’s side, they decided to buy every type of food they saw on the stands, including Chicharrones, Elotes en un vaso (corn in a cup), and candy made by tamarindo…

“So, you were part of M.A.G.I.C as well huh? Now that’s something interesting…” Alejandro walks along with Angel and Crespo. Crespo nods in agreement:

“That’s right, we’re also mages…”

“Wow, seriously? You mean you can cast spells and all that sort of stuff?”

“Of course…look over there…” Crespo points on a soda machine, he snaps his fingers and soda comes out like a fountain.

“Incredible…”

Crespo makes a smirk; “Well, I am a Mid-level mage after all…Angel is a low-level mage but he will soon jump to be a Mid-level like me…”

“Seriously, that’s so cool…”

“And you’re part of Yggdrasil right?” Angel asks Alejandro; “Yeah…I just became a member about a few months ago…I am still a low rank as well…”

“I see…you guys have it rough right? I mean I heard that your promotion exams are inhuman…”

“Really? I didn’t know about that?” Alejandro gets nervous.

“Now, now Angel, don’t scare him like that…”

“Right…Sorry…” Angel apologizes. Alejandro sighs; “I guess I should've told Uriel about me knowing about M.A.G.I.C. To be honest, it was also a surprise for me but I guess, he really felt betrayed…”

They stop walking, Crespo chuckles; “Are you saying that El Charro Negro actually has feeling? That’s hilarious…”

Angel also chuckles, Alejandro gets irritated:

“Of course he does! He has a family that he cares about…he might act cold but he actually put his life on the line these past months to protect the Borderland…” Alejandro makes a fist and gets angry; “He saved my life…and he is my best friend so stop making fun of him or else…”

Both Angel and Crespo look at each other. Crespo smiles; “I guess, you have a point…we’re sorry…Hey how about we look for the girls and also let’s meet with Uriel, I bet we can talk it out…”

“Really?” Alejandro looks at both of them who nod. Alejandro chuckles; “Hey, you guys are really good guys…”

Both Angel and Crespo look at each other with a worried expression.

The guys also decided to look for Uriel and the girls…

Uriel decided to walk alone through the market…remembering Felicitas’ words…

“People like you and me have it different from others. El Charro Negro will always be a target, and those who are related to him will also be targeted…It’s normal to act like a normal teenager, but remember that you aren’t…Things like love, friendship and emotions will only get you killed…”

“I guess she’s right…Maybe I am letting my emotions take the better of me…” Uriel stops and looks at the sky feeling anger; “I must lock these emotions away…I am turning into a human…”

Uriel thinks about Alejandro and Marjorie; “Everyone will eventually betray me…I can’t forget about who I am…I am El Charro Negro…the one who stands between the dead and the living…maybe I should just…”

(BBBZZZZZZ)

Uriel’s phone rings, he looks at it and sees that it says; Valerie. Uriel answers; “Hello?”

“BBBIIIGGG BBBRRROOTTHHHERRR!” Valerie screams. “Valerie, don't be so loud…”

“Well excuse me…I just want to know how are you?”

“I’m doing well…I’m here at Xochimilco…”

“Really, that’s awesome…Mom says don't forget to buy souvenirs for everyone…”

Uriel chuckles; “I will…don’t worry…”

“Well, gotta go…I have a reunion with my friends tonight…Hey Big Brother…have fun okay…”

Uriel feels a great calm as he replies; “I will…Valerie… thank you…”

“BYE BYE…I will send you a picture…”

Uriel hangs up, he receives a message from Valerie with a photo where she and the four sisters appear in a selfie with a phrase; LOVE YOU XD

Uriel chuckles; “I guess, there are some people who I still care about…” Uriel takes a few steps and suddenly…

(BUMP)

He bumps into a girl. The girl has long brown hair, pinkish colored eyes and light brown skin. She wears a blue dress, with a flower pattern similar to an Aztec design.

“Lo siento…estas bien?” (Sorry, are you okay?)

The girl opens her eyes and sees Uriel. The girl gets scared at first, Uriel bends his legs and asks; “Estas Bien?”

The girl replies; “I am okay” Uriel opens his eyes wider and thinks; “This girl…her language is…” Uriel chuckles; “Good to hear…can you stand up” The girl looks surprised the moment she hears Uriel speaking her language. Uriel helps the girl stand up.

“Are you lost?”

The girl nods; “I am looking for my brother but he is nowhere to be found…I am scared…

“I see…let me help you find your brother…”

(GGRRROOOWWLLLL)

Uriel notices that she is hungry; “Hey are you hungry? Come with me I will get you something to eat”

The girl gets happy; “Thank you mister, what is your name?”

“Uriel and what is your name?”

“Xochitl” The girl answers with a low tone.

“Xochitl huh…nice to meet you…” Uriel holds Xochitl’s hand and both of them walk towards a restaurant. From afar, El Muerto and Adihe look at them. Adihe with rage smiles; “I found you…Guerra…”

“Now then, Kukulkan, it’s time for you revenge…”

Kasumi and Johanna decided to go to Xochimilco…however…

“You sure you are okay?” Johanna asks Kasumi who has barf bag.

“Yes I am fine, let’s go to where Uriel is right now” Katsumi says as she holds the bag tightly.

“Fufufu, you know, you should really rest…” Johanna suggests, Kasumi looks at her and replies; “Johanna, I don’t know why you food poisoned me…but I know that it’s because something will happen…”

“That’s so rude…but you’re right…it was me and I'm sorry…”

“I knew it…”

“Fufufu…I need you to be out of commission for today because I was given the order and besides…I want to see…”

“See what?” Kasumi looks at Johanna. Johanna stares at the clouds and gives Kasumi something; “Here’s the antidote, you will feel better in one hour…”

“Johanna, answer my question…”

“Alright, I want to see what it looks like to see the return of the Gods…”

The two of them head to Xochimilco, however they are still far away.

**************************************************************************Uriel and Xochitl decided to go eat in the famous boats called “ Trajineras.” A special type of large boat where people enjoy their dinners, it has many decorations, and a great board with the word “Mariachi” written on it. They decided to eat a traditional food: “Chilaquiles” which consist of tortillas, cheese, onions and “chile.”

The others met with each other and decided to look for Uriel….

“Where could he be…”

“Hey, I found him…he’s in that boat…” The six of them head there to meet with Uriel. Uriel looks at them heading his way. Uriel sighs; “I guess, I can’t escape them right…”

“Mister, is something wrong?”

“Listen Xochitl, call me Uriel and we might have some company here…”

“Uriel, where have you been man…” Alejandro gets in the boat, the others follow his lead and notice Xochitl. Crespo chuckles; “Who’s she, Uriel, your daughter?”

“Are you a lolicon?” Angel also plays with him.

“HE’S NOT!” Marjorie raises her voice, blushing. Uriel notices Xochitl getting nervous and sigh; “She’s not my daughter, she’s a lost girl who was hungry and I am going to help her find her brother…”

Alejandro tries to have a conversation: “Hola como te llamas?” (Hello, what is your name?)

“Xochitl” The girl says with a timid voice. Xochitl looks at Uriel:

“I want to see my brother, please take me to him”

“Don’t worry I will take you to him after you finish your food.” Uriel answers, pointing at Xochitl’s food. Xochitl eats quickly, Uriel does as well. He feels that everyone is looking at them with a suspicious face.

Uriel notices that and asks; “Is something wrong?”

“Uriel, what language were you speaking to that girl?We couldn’t understand you” Alejadnro asks with surprise.

Uriel realizes that he and Xochitl were speaking ancient Aztec language. Uriel thinks to himself: “ That’s right, that Viejo told me about how I broke the language barrier when he transferred his powers, now I can understand all the language past and present to speak fluently.”

Uriel sighs with his eyes closed and replies; “Well she is speaking ancient Aztec, I happen to know a little”

“Wow he is a genius” Angel and Crespo say out loud. Marinette and Madeleine hug Marjorie and with a low tone whisper:

“You sure are lucky Marjorie…”

Marjorie blushes and plays with her fingers.

After they finish eating they get off the boat, Uriel walks with Xochitl who is holding his hand. Marjorie frowns because she feels jealous. The twins are talking in the back with the boys fooling around as they walk.

As they get close to the edge of the river, Marjorie gets closer to Uriel; “Uriel can we talk?”

Marinette and Madeleine grab Xochitl’s hand and point at the ice cream stand; “Come with us, we will buy you ice cream…” Xochitl’s eyes turn into “stars” as she looks at Uriel who nods in agreement. Everyone goes to buy some ice cream leaving only Uriel and Marjorie at the edge of the river.

Uriel and Marjorie stand next to each other. Uriel proceeds in asking; “So, what is it that you want to talk to me about…is it about your organization?”

Marjorie shakes her head; “No…that’s not it…Uriel, there is something I wanted to tell you for a long time…”

(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)

Marjorie faces towards Uriel. Uriel feels that his heart beats faster; “What is this feeling? Why am I feeling this? Everytime I look at her…”

Marjorie looks down, she feels the same way, almost as if her heart would come out because of the extreme beating. Everyone else is keeping their distance, including Xochitl who eats ice-cream with joy.

(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)

“I-I-I…uhm…I want to tell you…” Marjorie struggles. Uriel awaits an answer as he feels the same way. “You can do it…” The twin whispers, the others also await for Marjorie’s words.

(BADUMP BADUMP BADUMP)

Marjorie gathers the courage and lifts her head, their eyes meet. The sky opens up and small rays of sun cover the are. One of them shines between them as Marjorie begins to say:

“Uriel, I wanted to tell you for so long that I…love…”

(STEP STEP STEP)

Uriel interrupts her; “Sorry…but I’m afraid, we will have to wait…”

“WHAT THE HELL!” The others react with disappointment. Uriel turns to see the lake and sees a boy walking towards them. Marjorie opens her eyes wider as she sees the boy standing in the middle of the lake. The boy has black hair, yellow eyes and brown skin. He is wearing a blue sweater with black shorts and sandals.

“I finally found you…Guerra”

Uriel opens his eyes wider; “This boy, his mana…”

“Big Brother…” Xothitl runs towards the boy. “You did well bringing them here Xochitl…” The boy smiles at Xochitl. Xochitl runs on top of the water and hugs the boy; “I was scared Adihe…”

“Don’t worry, you did well…”

-TCH- “So it was a trap all along…” Uriel chuckles. “Hey what’s going on Uriel? Why is Xochitl with him?” Alejandro asks as he gets closer to the others. Uriel feels a huge amount of mana coming from the siblings:

“Marjorie, you and the others need to run…these kids are dangerous…”

“But Uriel…” Marjorie hesitates. A serpent comes out of Adihe’s clothes and sees Uriel and the others; “SSS…THERE THEY ARE, GUERRA AND THE CORTES…” The serpent sees Uriel’s crimson mana and the Cortes siblings’ mana.

“Guerra…prepare to die! Quetzi now!” Adihe extends his arm and a little serpent comes out of his sleeve, the serpent's eyes begin to glow.

-BBAAADDUUMMPPP- Uriel feels the enormous mana starting to flow. Uriel looks at the others and screams:

“GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!”

(BBBBBOOOOOOMMMMMM)

At that moment the wind blows harder and the mana turns green.

(RRRAAAAAWWWW)

The serpent roars and grows bigger and bigger, the wind blows harder forming a tornado blowing away the stands and causing people to run away from the scene. Everyone is in shock upon witnessing the giant snake.

“EVERYONE…YOU NEED TO RUN!!!” Uriel exclaims as the wind stops and the figure of a giant serpent appears in the dust cloud. The serpent extends its wings and roars one more time:

(RRRRRAAAAAWWWW)

The cloud slowly clears revealing a Feathered Serpent; the serpent’s belly is orange, the head of the serpent has a pattern of red and blue feathers. It has blue eyes, fangs, and a serpent’s tongue slithering. The body has green and red scales covering it all around until its tail. The wings inside have white feathers with the side being red. The outside of the feathers are green as well.

Uriel and the others look with shock as Adihe completes the transformation:

“The Guardian God: QUETZALCOATL”
