Rio Grande City, April 15th

Over the past weeks, everything has been normal in the Borderland...no major incidents have caused commotion...only the typical Sombras who appeared in both cities but that has been taken care of thanks to the Ministry in Rio Grande City and Yggdrasil in Sun City…

On a typical spring night...where it's neither cold nor hot...the Di Fiore siblings head to the Ministry...

“Hurry up Valerie or your dinner is going to get cold.” Daniel says to Valerie as they walk down the street going to the Ministry. Valerie frowns and says:

“Ay hermano, you are going too fast”

Daniel looks at Valerie and sighs with his eyes closed:

“Okay I will slow down, like Uriel always says to me that I must protect you.”

Valerie hugs Daniel and says; “Aww you’re so sweet.”

“Shut up and hurry,” Daniel says to her, blushing with embarrassment. As they walk down the street, Valerie begins a conversation:

“So, how is school?”

“Seriously, you want to ask me that?” Daniel shakes his head, Valerie puffs her cheeks as she exclaims; “Hey, what’s wrong with wanting to know about my little brother’s life...tell me, do you have a girlfriend now?”

“I don’t have time for such unorthodox things Valerie…”

“Oh come on...I know that you and Fabiola are close, then there's Abril and Mariana and now Estrella...Don’t tell me it doesn't excite you living with four beautfigul girls that are the same age as you…”

“Like I said, I don’t have interest, besides…”

“Besides?”

“Don’t you feel it Valerie? There is tension in the air...something is coming...and we must be prepared, that's why, I need you to stay focused…”

“Yeah, yeah…” Valerie says as she looks at the sky; “But still…” Valerie grabs Daniel’s head; “I know that you are working hard and all...but remember, you are still a teenager...try to enjoy life a little…”

Daniel gets embarrassed once again; “Stop that!”

“Besides, like Uriel says, when the time comes, the time will come…” Valerie chuckles, Daniel exclaims; “That’s not how he says it and it didn’t make any sense.”

“Really? I guess I didn’t pay too much attention…” Valerie chuckles once more. Daniel looks at her and asks:

“Hey, Valerie...do you trust Uriel?”

“Of course I do…” Valerie doesn’t hesitate to answer. Daniel gets upset; “You answer without hesitating...Look I know that you are easy going but still...we can’t remember him...and what’s worse, he is El Charro Negro…”

Valerie changes her smile to a serious expression; “DANIEL” She raises her voice interrupting Daniel; “Stop saying that...Uriel is our brother...think back, he has risked his life for us countless times...I can’t believe you are still doubting him after all these years…”

Daniel remains silent, Valerie hugs him; “It’s okay if you have doubts, I mean, I also have my doubts once in a while...but still...Uriel is Uriel, and he is family...always remember that...so have faith in him…”

“Yeah...Yeah…”Daniel says as he pushes Valerie away and continues to walk. Valerie looks at him and puffs her cheeks. Daniel stops and says; “Well...I hope our brother is having a good time in Mexico...I’m sorry…”

Valerie runs to his side; “Silly brother...Of course he will have fun…”

The two of them continue to walk towards the Ministry…

In the Ministry of San Juan...everybody gets ready for dinner… Today is Abril’s Birthday...they don’t actually know when is her real birthday but this is the day she was left in the Ministry...Father Clemente decided to celebrate her Birthday today...

“Come on Mariana...finish putting those plates…” Fabiola says with her arms crossed. Mariana gets nervous; “O-O-Okay…”

“Sheesh hermana… you’re in a really bad mood today…” Abril makes fun of her, Fabiola looks at her and replies; “Oh shut it...just because it's your birthday, it doesn’t mean you can slack off…”

“Yeah...yeah...I bet you’re just jealous because Uriel sent me a birthday message. Abril shows her message from Uriel:

Feliz Cumpleanos...ten un gran dia… (Happy Birthday...have a great day)

Fabiola’s face gets red and she looks away; “Hhmmpphh...so what?”

“I believe you're jealous because he remembered my birthday and not yours…”

Fabiola’s Birthday was February 28th...Uriel was training on that time...he did say Happy Birthday on March 7th…

“Oh shut up…” Fabiola chases Abril with a broom. Estrella looks at them as she puts on the cups on the table; “I wonder how Uriel is doing?”

“I bet he is doing fine mija…” Maria says as she stands by her side. Estrella looks at Maria and asks; “Ms. Maria...I heard that he was after a Feathered Serpent...is that true?”

“Yes it’s true...but I’m sure he is going to be okay...you know, he might see La LLorona…” (Weeping Lady)

“La Llorona?” Estrella asks, confused. Fabiola stops pursuing Abril as they hear the word “Llorona.” Mariana asks frightened; “Is la Llorona real?”

“Oh she is...she is a ghost that wanders in the center of Mexico…” Father Clemente explains as he enters the dining hall. He smiles as he continues to speak:

“When I was in Mexico...countless young children went missing...they say that before the children disappeared they heard this…” Father Clemente asks the couple to come closer and whisper; “Ay mis hijos…” (Oh my children)

“Why does she say that?” Estrella asks scared.

“According to legend, she lost her children and now she wanders all over Mexico in search of them...if you hear her scream..it means that she will come get you...remember...Ay mis hijos…”

Maria chuckles; “But that’s only a legend...there is no such thing as “La Llorona”...”

“AAYYY MMMIISSS HHIIIGGOOOSS” The girls hear a scream from the kitchen. They begin to panic:

“KKKYYYAAAAA”

Maria walks to the kitchen; “What happened?” Maria sees Carolina on her knees; “I dropped my higos for the cake…” (Higos= Figs)

Fig is a type of peach-like fruit similar to raisins…

“Hey everyone, we’re back!” Valerie opens the door and sees Father Clemente on the ground with mash potatoes on his face. “SERIOUSLY FATHER, DON’T SCARE US LIKE THAT!” Fabiola scolds him. Valerie notices the table shaking, she lifts the tablecloth and sees the other three sisters below the table shaking.

“What in the world happened here?” Valerie asks Father Clemente, Father Clemente chuckles; “I guess I went a little overboard…”

“Oh, hijos, welcome back!” Maria says as she comes out of the kitchen. Daniel asks; “What happened here mother?”

“Oh you know...we’re just getting the party started…” Maria chuckles as the scolding continues.

And so...the Ministry of San Juan’s night was a little noisy…

In a chinese restaurant located at the “Fountains”, a very famous mall where teenagers like to hang out...a part of the HISTO.RE.A. Alliance had a “secret” meeting…

“So then, why are we here?” Carlos asks as he eats a bowl of ramen; “Seriously, I have better things to do…”

“You mean play video games, then watch porn?” Chelsea mocks Carlos who gets embarrassed: “Oh shut up…” Carlos looks away thinking; “Damn it...that was just what I was thinking…”

“Oh come on...we’re a team, we must have meetings once in a while…” Tiwa says as she eats some Teriyaki chicken with fried rice.

Chelsea, who is eating Broccoli Beef with white rice says; “Well, it’s not too bad...Tiwa invited me to hang out and I just figured to invite you as well...you should thank me…”

Chelsea once again makes fun of Carlos who only continues to eat. Tiwa sighs with her eyes closed; “I wish my friend was here…”

“Oh, you mean Uriel?” Chelsea says it with a luxurious tone. Tiwa nods in agreement; “But he and Alejandro went to Mexico…”

“I know right, how lucky they are...they got to go with the Cortes, who are really hot and with that Antoine guy is a cutie…”

“I know right...he is so handsome…” Tiwa and Chelsea begin to gossip, Carlos feels like “giant words” hit him in the face, he stands up and says:

“If you guys are going to talk about guys, then I’m out…”

“Wait...we are having a strategy meeting here…” Tiwa says to Carlos. Carlos sighs and sits once again. Tiwa begins to speak:

“For one week, we’re going to be alone, protecting the city...From the members of the Alliance; Uriel, Alejandro and Kasumi went to Mexico.”

“Shion went back to Japan...she was summoned by her family…” Chelsea explains to Tiwa.

“Rosa decided to visit Flor back in Rio Grande City...she will be staying there for two weeks…” Carlos says as she begins to drink his soda.

“That means we’re the only ones here...what if there is another attack like the ones before...or what if Darius Lucifugus decides to make his move…” Tiwa begins to feel anxiety. Chelsea chuckles:

“Relax, we can handle this alone...aren’t you the powerful Shaman priestess? The Last Survivor of Ysleta Tribe?”

“What are you talking about, of course I am...we will protect this city…” Tiwa says with pride. Carlos looks at her thinking; “You’re so easy to handle…”

(BEEP BEEP)

“Speaking of which, we have a couple of Sombras in the west part of the city…”

Tiwa stands up and says with excitement; “Alright guys, time to head out…”

“Yeah...yeah…” Carlos and Chelsea stand up and follow Tiwa.

These three will have a “little problem” concerning the Sombras but that’s a story for another time…

Lucifugus Mansion…

Located near the mountains there is an exclusive street where the leaders of the Twin cities live. Giant mansions with the best cars. At the end of the street there is a huge mansion where the mayor resides.

In the dining hall, Darius and Olivia have dinner:

“Good news...it appears the students have arrived in Mexico…” Olivia says to Darius. Darius has a glass of wine and slowly moves it as he smiles:

“Excellent...now our plans can finally be set to motion…”

Darius drinks from his glass and looks to his right, there is a maid with black hair, pale skin and reddish eyes standing next to him:

“I’m sorry that I couldn't go with the others...my dear Anastasia...”

Originally, Anastasia was supposed to go with the other students to Mexico…

Anastasia doesn’t respond at first. Darius continues to say; “I know that you wanted to go with Alejandro, but I need you to do another mission for me…”

“That is alright, I haven’t forgotten that I am just a servant...I will do as my Master tells me to…”

“Now...now...don’t say that...I see you as my own daughter...now get prepared because you leave tonight…”

“Yes...father…” Anastasia begins to leave. She is about to reach the door when Darius says something that he noticed:

“Anastasia, are you upset that you didn’t go?”

Anastasia stops from opening the door; “Not at all...I don’t have those kinds of emotions, I am just a servant…”

“You know, ever since you started living with Alejandro, I have noticed that you have some emotions...but that’s okay...it’s good for you…”

“Excuse me…” Anastasia leaves the room. As she walks down the hallway, Anastasia lifts her head. She has a furious expression as she heads to the room.

Darius chuckles; “You noticed it too...right dear?”

“I did but that’s a good thing right?”

“That depends, will she hesitate when I give her the order to kill Alejandro?” Darius begins to chuckle, Olivia looks at the door with a worried expression:

“I wonder if she will be able to tell my mother one day…”

“That...is something that fate will decide...when the moment arrives, she won’t hesitate and kill Alejandro…”

Anastasia looks at the window as the light of the moon enters the hallway. She begins to think:

“Are these feelings okay? I hope you are alright, Brother Alejandro…”

Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (Mexico City International Airport)

Mexico, a country filled with enchantment and magic….Last month, two of the professors from Sun City International Highschool got permission from the Principal to travel to Mexico along with a couple of students.

Their objective is to study the ancient city of “Tenochtitlan” located in the middle of “Lake Texcoco.” The site where the famous picture of a giant serpent with wings was taken. The best students were selected to accompany the Professors along with two other staff members.

The people who travel to Mexico are the following:

Anastasia Lucifugus was also chosen but she had to stay for her “health” issues...This is what happened as the plane landed in Mexico…

“AACCHHOOO!” Alejandro sneezes. Victoria begins to say; “Eww, that’s gross…”

“Sorry, I think someone was just talking about me…”

“Yeah right…” Victoria chuckles. Alejandro gets mad; “Oh shut up…”

“Hey you two, stop arguing or we are going to leave you behind…” Raul says to both of them. Alejandro runs towards the end of the boarding station and screams:

“Finally we have arrived!!”

Alejandro screams with excitement causing everyone in the lobby to stare at him.

(PPPUUUMMM)

Victoria punches Alejandro in the head saying:

“Shut up! You're making a scene Alejandro!”

“D-D-Don't hit him Victoria. Alejandro is just as excited as all of us, that's why he is screaming.” Angela says with a shy voice.

“That's right Victoria you should take it easy and Alejandro stop screaming already.” Raul says as he walks by reading a book. Victoria notices everyone staring at her and gets embarrassed:

“Alright, just because you ask.”

“Hahaa...that’s okay, it’s normal for youth to get excited...right Doctor…” Dr. Ortiz says as he walks towards them.

Dr. Oscar Ortiz (Age 58) is a History Professor specialized in Latin America...he is a genius and has a great relationship with Alejandro. He has white hair, white skin and brown eyes, and wears glasses. He is also the husband of Dr. Escobar.

“You’re right dear, it’s normal to get excited...we’re here in Mexico…”

Dr. Petra Escobar (Age 57) is a Biology Professor...she is a genius that knows about all the life forms on earth. She has brown hair, white skin and hazel eyes. She also wears glasses and always invites Alejandro to be part of the Biology club

Uriel walks past them, yawning and thinking; “Flying is such a pain...I could just open a portal to get here…”

“Come on young man, it's time to get our luggage.” Dr. Ortiz says to Uriel as he smiles with his wife next to him. Dr. Escobar also smiles at Uriel and says:

“We must do our best on this trip right dear.” Dr. Ortiz smiles at her nodding, causing Uriel to feel as a third party and replies:

“Yes, I must hurry, where is Ms. Miyazono?”

“She was feeling sick, so Nurse Gomez took her to the restroom.” Dr. Escobar replies as she and Dr. Ortiz continue to walk to get their luggage.

“I see…” Uriel notices Kasumi and Johanna (the nurse) coming out of the restroom.

Kasumi comes out of the restroom with Johanna laughing at her saying:

“I told you not to eat airplane food...it’s poisonous.”

“I know, but it was so good.” Kasumi replies with her face green of sickness and goes to throw up in the garbage can.

“Ms. Miyazono and nurse Gomez. I will go get your bags... please just go to the bus.” Uriel says to both of them. Johanna smiles and replies:

“That's so sweet Uriel, please call me Johanna, and thank you I will handle her.”

Uriel nods and heads to the luggage department. Kasumi looks at Johanna frowning, Johanna smiles and says:

“If you don't make a move, I will get him first.”

Uriel reaches the suitcase carousel. He grabs his luggage along with Kasumi’s and Johanna’s. He begins to hear the man whispering;

“Hey, look at her...she’s beautiful...she’s an angel…”

Uriel turns around and sees Marjorie heading his way. Marjorie looks for her suitcase; “Now then, where is my luggage…”

“Hey beautiful, come with us, we will have some fun!” Marjorie is surrounded by men. She gets nervous as she takes one step back. Without no one noticing him, Uriel appears in front of everyone and grabs Marjorie’s hand; “Come with me…”

“Uriel…” Marjorie smiles. One of the men grabs his shoulder; “Hey pal...she was with…” Uriel turns around and sees him in the eye, the man is speechless as he walks back feeling fear.

“Did something happen man?” His friend asks him. The man who touched Uriel begins to say; :I felt as if I saw “El Diablo”

“Uriel, I forgot my luggage…” Marjorie says looking back. Uriel lets go of her hand.

“Here...I grabbed it for you…” Uriel hands over her purple luggage. “Thank you, that’s so sweet of you!” Marjorie smiles, they begin to walk together as she asks:

“Is this your first time here?”

Uriel shakes his head; “No...I’ve visited Mexico many times before…”

“Really? This is my first time...I am really excited…”

“I see…” Uriel and Marjorie continue to talk.

Behind them, the other students walk to get their luggage. One of the students is Stephan who is astonished by all the great souvenirs he bought; “This is awesome...I always wanted to visit here…”

Stephan sees another student immediately grabbing her luggage. She is a girl with red hair and green eyes. She is wearing glasses and she immediately grabs it in a shy manner and quickly runs away from the crowd; “So, she did come...good for her…”

“Hey Stephan, hurry up or you will be left behind…” Alejandro says to him as he grabs his luggage. Suddenly, both of them turn as they here a commotion:

“Hey...don’t get in my way you cheese smeller…” A student from their school begins to argue with another student.

“Crespo, calm down...we don’t want any problems…” Ana says as she tries to prevent any trouble.

“désolé je suis nul ... je ne comprends pas votre langue …” (Excuse me stinky, I don’t understand your language…) The student says in French as he makes fun of Crespo.

“Damn it...I didn’t understand him…damn you Antoine…”

Tension grows stronger, Alejandro steps in; “Hey, stop it you two...this is no time for that…”

-TCH- “This loser wants to give me orders…I guess I will have to teach him a lesson…” Crespo begins to approach Alejandro. Suddenly, Uriel grabs his shoulder as he says:

“Enough, we must go...the bus is waiting…”

Crespo feels the intimidating aura and decides to leave. The others continue to walk, Alejandro breathes deeply and makes a thumbs up to Uriel who immediately disappears from his sight.

He appears in front of Marjorie as they begin to walk towards the bus. Alejandro chuckles; “That idiot! He knows I can protect myself…”

Victoria looks at Uriel and Marjorie. She puffs her cheeks thinking; “Those two have been close recently...I can’t stand it…”

“Calm down, you’re making a scene...idiot…” Raul says as he continues to read. “C-C-Come on, Victoria, the bus will leave…” Angela smiles as she pulls Victoria’s arm. As they get into the bus, Uriel feels as if someone was watching him. He immediately turns around. Marjorie notices and asks:

“Is everything okay?”

“Yeah...I just felt something…” Uriel replies as he continues to climb the bus’ stairs, not noticing the silhouette of someone behind a pillar.

Uriel looks troubled as he thinks; “This place, the rhythm...it’s…”

After all the students got their luggage, they headed to a bus that would take them to their hotel. As they got into the bus each of them sat in pairs. The only one without a pair was Uriel who sat in the back looking at the window.

As they went to Mexico the students were surprised to see the large buildings and modern streets in the city. They passed through countless houses, stores and parks.

The bus stopped in a large plaza known as “El Zocalo” or “La Plaza de la Constitución” (Constitution Plaza) The Zócalo is the common name of the main square in central Mexico City. Prior to the colonial period, it was the main ceremonial center in the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan.

The Zocalo is supported directly on the foundation of the buildings; formerly it consisted of a stony parallelepiped that immediately settled on the ground. In a column, it is called Zocalo (or basement) to the cylindrical piece on which it is supported, and it is for this reason that it is used as a synonym for pedestal.

“Alright students...we’re in the historical and famous site known as “El Zocalo”, now we decided to let you explore for one hour...you will be divided into groups and these groups will stay for the rest of the trip okay…” Dr. Escobar says to the students.

“ALRIGHT!!!!” The students get excited. Dr. Ortiz comes forward and in his hand, he has wooden popsicle sticks; “Now, everyone picks a stick...since there are 14 of you, there will be 4 groups of 3...and 1 group of 2...no complaints…”

“AAWWWW!” The students wine. Everyone stares at each other as one by one they choose a stick. Uriel is the last one as he notices many eyes looking at him:

“What a bother…”

As every student drew a stick, the groups were formed. These groups will last until the end of the trip:

Group 1: Alejandro Sanchez, Stefan Albu, Madeleine LeFleur

Group 2: Victoria Salazar, Angel Cortes, Angela Conte

Group 3: Ana Cortes, Antoine LeFleur, Raul Diaz

Group 4: Marinette LeFleur, Marjorie Bellerose, Crespo Cortes

Group 5: Leticia Marino and Uriel Di Fiore

Group 1: Alejandro Sanchez, Stefan Albu, Madeleine LeFleur

“I can’t believe I am stuck with these two losers…” Madeleine says as she walks alongside Stefan and Alejandro.

“Hello, we’re right here…” Both of them replied feeling offended. “Yeah I know and it’s irritating…” Madeleine walks a few step in front of them.

“Sheesh, why did it had to be a princess…” Stefan says as he shakes his head. “HEY, I’M A DUCHESS...NOT A PRINCESS!” Madeleine exclaims.

Madeleine Le Fleur (Age 16) is a duchess in the royal family of France; she also has white skin, blonde loose hair but reddish eyes. She is Marinette’s twin. She has a “tomboyish” personality however she also likes to be treated as a princess.

Stefan Albu (Age 16) is a student who comes from Eastern Europe. he wears a black cape (Similar to Kirito from SAO) and fingerless gloves. He is nerd-looking, white skin, has black long hair, glasses, brown eyes and he is a bit overweight.

Alejandro’s group explores the south part of the plaza as they see a lot of food stands and people…

“Now then, where should we go...I’m kind of hungry…” Stefan says as he “stars” come out of his expression, looking at the delicious food.

“You’re right, anything you like Madeleine?” Alejandro asks Madeleine who looks at them with disgust and begins to speak in french:

“Pourquoi ce perdant me parle?” (Why is this loser talking to me?)

“Parce que je fais partie de votre équipe... et nous devons être ensemble…” (Because I am part of your team ... and we have to be together …) Alejandro replies with a fake smile. Madeleine looks at him with surprise; “Attends, tu sais parler français ?” (Wait, you can speak French?)

Alejandro nod with a fake smile, Stefan adjust his glasses and says; “Bien sûr qu'il peut, et je peux aussi…” (Of course he can, and I can too …)

Madeleine looks embarrassed because she called him loser; “Pardon” (Sorry) Alejandro and Stefan begin to walk pass by her:

“Don’t worry about it...come on, let’s go eat something…”

“Yeah, I want some Tacos al Pastor,” Stefan says as they head to a food stand. Madeleine who begins to feel more comfortable nods in agreement as she says; “I want some Tacos too…”

Both of them look at each other and smile at her; “bien sûr que oui” (Of course)

Group 2: Victoria Salazar, Angel Cortes, Angela Conte

In the Eastern Part of the Plaza, Angela and Victoria sit on a bench waiting for Angel…

“Aww...I really wanted to be in Uriel’s group...I know my feminine charms can seduce him…” Victoria says as she has her legs crossed and has one arm as support as she leans her head.

“At least we are with Angel, who looks like a good person…” Angela says as she sits with her legs together looking womanly.

“Yeah, I know, at least he's hot and he is captain of the Basketball team...but still, that girl will gain the advantage over Uriel…”

“Cut the crap...we are here for a mission remember...stay focused as we will receive orders at any time…” Angela says to Victoria. Angela’s eyes are hollow as she emits a fearful aura.

“Hey little lady, would you like to have some fun…” A drunken man walks directly to Angela. Angela glares at him releasing manna as she says; “LARGATE!” (GET LOST)

The man notices her presence and begins to walk backwards with fear. He begins to run saying; “Un demonio…” (A demon)

“Sheesh Angela, your aura is overflowing, control yourself...besides...he might notice you…”

“Heyy…” Angel Cortes runs towards them with two ice cream cones and a corn cup.

Angel Cortes (Age 17) is the next head of the Crespo Royal Family. He has a muscular body, long hazel hair, and yellow eyes. He is Ana’s brother and Crespo’s cousin. He likes to wrestle with Crespo, they grew up as brothers and continue with their competitions.

Angela, who changed her expression, smiles; “T-T-Thank you...you’re so sweet…”

“That looks delicious…” Victoria says as she begins to lick the ice cream. Angel blushes as he sees Victoria licking the ice-cream.

(GULP)

He looks away nervously as Victoria notices. Angel looks at Angela eating hers causing him to also feel nervous, he stands up:

“So, are you enjoying the trip?”

Angel laughs nervously. Both Victoria and Angela look at Angel and chuckle as they say; “Yes we are…”

“Good...I am as well...to be honest, I am not pretty good at talking to other people, only Ana and Crespo…”

Victoria stands up and says; “Well then, you’ll enjoy talking to us…”

Angel gets really nervous as he looks away. At that moment, Angela notices someone in the shadow from the building behind them, her eyes once again turn hollow as she smiles:

“Understood…”

Group 3: Ana Cortes, Antoine LeFleur, Raul Diaz

In the western part of “El Zocalo”, the group decided to explore a little as there are some old buildings nearby...Well...almost all the group...

“Come on Raul, come with us...the Doctor said for us to be together…” Ana says to Raul. Raul continues to read his book as he sits on a bench; “Go without me...I won’t move from this spot…”

“OMG...You’re the worst…” Ana says as she begins to walk away.

Ana Cortes (Age 16) is the sister of Angel, she has black hair with silver eyes, and she has white skin and a slim body. She has a “tomboyish” personality, and she likes to talk with his brother “Angel” and cousin “Crespo” as well.

“Hahaha, you’re hilarious Raul…” Antoine says as he looks at Ana walking away.

Antoine LeFleur (Age 17) is a French duke who has white skin, blonde colored hair and blue eyes.He has a thin body and likes to study along with his twin sisters; Marinette and Madeleine.

“Hey wait...we are not supposed to go outside the Zocalo…” Antoine says as he grabs her arm. “No me toques imbecil” (Don’t touch me you imbecile) Ana says with a furious tone.

She violently moves her arm. Antoine is left clueless of what she said. Ana walks towards the old buildings. Crespo sighs with his eyes closed and looks at Raul:

“Shouldn’t we go get her?”

“I don’t care, do what you like...I won’t move from this spot…” Raul mentions as he continues to pay more attention to his book. Antoine decides to go after her.

Ana walks looking at the buildings; “Hmmh...being with a French guy...what a piece of…”

Ana, thinking about Antoine, suddenly got lost; “Where am I? Where is the Plaza” She looks at her cellphone and notices that there is no signal; “Oh no...now what am I going to…”

(CCRRRAASSHHH….GGGRRRRR)

Ana feels a strange presence behind her, she turns around and sees a Sombra with stripe patterns and a feline body.

“I can’t be, but there shouldn’t be at this time of day…” Ana notices that it’s beginning to rain. She begins to run but Sombra catches up to her and slams her into the ground.

(RRRAAAWWW)

“NNNNOOO...AAYYUUDDAAA” Ana screams as she tries to get away from the Sombra.

(BBBOOOMMM)

Suddenly, a rock hits Sombra's head, Ana hears someone calling; “HEY LEAVE HER ALONE!”

Antoine throws another rock at the Sombra. The Sombra gets distracted, Antoine uses the opportunity and grabs Ana’s hand; “Come on...we must hurry…”

Ana with tears in her eyes looks at him and asks; “Why are you helping me?”

“Because, we’re group members…” Antoine says with a smile causing Ana’s heart to beat faster. They get away from the Sombra.

Just a quick explanation, Sombras come out when the sun is gone...even if it is in the middle of the day, if there are clouds, then that means that Sombras can come out…

Antoine and Ana reach the Zocalo, they breathe heavily as he asks; “Are you okay?”

“Hhmmpphh..” Ana turns her head avoiding looking at him. Antoine chuckles; “Well, at least you’re alright…come on, let’s go, the others are waiting...” Antoine begins to walk. Ana grabs the back of his shirt, and with an embarrassed expression and with a low tone says; “Thank you!”

Antoine looks in front; “You’re welcome…”

Raul continues to read his book on the bench…

Group 4: Marinette LeFleur, Marjorie Bellerose, Crespo Cortes

Marjorie’s group is heading to the northern part of the Zocalo. There is a small stage where local artists like to perform…

“Marjorie...come on, they are selling ice cream…” Marinette says with excitement.

Marinette LeFleur (Age 16) is a duchess in the royal family of France. She has white skin, blonde hair and blue eyes, she has a “royal personality” and likes to be treated as a princess. She is Madeleine’s twin….

“Alright...let me get my wallet…” Marjorie begins to look for her wallet.

“No need Marjorie, it’s on me…” Crespo says as he pays for both Marinette and Marjorie.

Crespo Cortes (Age 17) is a muscular body guy. He has brown skin, yellow eyes and brown hair. He likes to exercise and competes with his cousin Angel. He is part of the noble family of the Cortes.

“Eww...I don’t want anything coming from you…” Marinette says as she denies eating the ice cream. Crespo gets mad and begins to exclaim:

“OH YEAH, WELL, I WAS ONLY OFFERING TO MARJORIE...NOT YOU!”

“Mmmpphhh….” Marinette turns around angry.

“Now, now, remember that we are a team now...let’s try to get along...and for that, I will pay for these ice creams…” Marjorie smiles at both of them who think at that same time:

“Is she an angel?”

Crespo decided to go to the restroom. The girls decided to sit down and wait for him. As they sit down on a bench Marjorie looks at Marinette and asks:

“Hey, Marinette, why are the Cortes and the LeFleur fighting?”

Marinette looks at the sky and replies; “Because, that’s the way we were raised...our families have always been at war for territory, even though we only know a little about each other, we are destined to fight…”

“Well, that might be true about your family, but not for you...Marinette, let’s try to get along okay…” Marjorie smiles at Marinette who only looks away embarrassed. Marjorie begins to think; “Destiny huh...that’s something that I…”

“Hey girls, look, there is going to be a concert…” Crespo says as he points at someone who is about to sing. The girls stand up and join the audience along with Crespo.

Uriel and Leticia head towards the northern part of the Zocalo….

Uriel walks alongside Leticia who is really nervous. Uriel looks at her and asks:

“Hey, are you okay?”

Leticia Marino (Age 17) is a very shy girl who has pale skin, long bright red hair and bright greenish eyes. She has a thin body and an average height. She wears glasses and like to a black diadem on her hair. She is considered the smartest student in the highschool however, she rarely has any contact with other people.

Leticia looks at Uriel and panis; “A-A-hhh…”

(PPUUMMM)

She bumps into a man, the man looks aggressive as he screams; “Hey cuidado perra…” (Hey, watch it bitch).

“L-L-Lo siento!” (I’m sorry) Leticia tries to apologize, the man raises his hand and forms a fists; “Quizás esto te enseñe tonta”(Maybe this will teach you, fool)

“Gyahhh” Leticia covers herself.

(PPUUMM)

Suddenly, Uriel steps in, grabbing the man’s arm. The man struggles; “Ey, dejame mocoso” (Leave me alone brat!)

“Que no te enseñaron a respetar a las mujeres?” (Didn’t they teach you to respect women?)

(CCRRAACCKKK)

Uriel breaks the man’s arm; “AAHHHH” The man falls to the ground. Uriel notices Leticia running away, he decides to do the same as people begin to gather around them.

Leticia runs with fear as she thinks; “There are too many people here...I want to go home…”

Suddenly, she looks around and she feels lost, with many people passing by her. Leticia begins to panics and crouches down crying:

“I can’t do this...I think I will…”

At that moment, she feels someone patting her head; “Hey, calm down...let’s go somewhere less crowded…” Leticia lifts her head and sees Uriel; “O-O-Okay…” She blushes as she nods in agreement.

Uriel and Leticia moved to a less crowded place. Uriel bought Leticia a cotton candy. Leticia, who is really timid, looks at Uriel. Uriel looks at the people walking by as he asks:

“Is something wrong?”

Leticia panics; “No...it’s just, I wanted to thank you for helping me and being nice to me...that’s all”

“I see…” Uriel continues to look at the people. Leticia gathers the courage to speak:

“You know, people aren’t really nice to me...they think I’m weird...that’s why I choose not to be in crowded places…”

“I see...then we are alike, I can’t stand being in crowded places…”

“Then you do understand me…” Leticia says with an excited expression. Leticia wants to speak a little more:

“Hey...Uriel...are you…”

“HEY IT’S URIEL...URIEL!”

Leticia gets interrupted by Alejandro’s group. Uriel notices that and sighs; “Talk about bad timing…”

“Hey Uriel, there are some Mariachi playing on the stage, come with us…” Alejandro says as Madeleine pulls his arm with a smile. Uriel looks at Leticia with a somber expression, he stands up and lets go of Madeleine.

“I’m sorry, I can’t go without my partner…”

“That girl…” Madeleine looks at Leticia thinking; “What a weirdo!”

“No...it’s okay, I’m going to the bathroom...you go on ahead Uriel…” Leticia runs to the restrooms. Uriel goes with the others as he looks at Leticia thinking:

“What were you going to say to me?”

Leticia enters one of the public restrooms, she looks at the mirror and notices her being all red; “Oh no…I almost said something private, I must control my emotions…”

“Oh Leticia, are you okay?” Leticia turns around and sees Marjorie entering the restroom. Marjorie looks at Leticia looking pale and immediately tries to help:

“Are you alright? Are you feeling sick?

“N-N-No…I’m okay…believe me…” Leticia acts nervous. Marjorie uses the opportunity to wash her face and put on make-up:

“So, how is it like to be with Uriel?”

“...” Leticia looks away feeling nervous, Marjorie notices and smiles; “Oh sorry, was I too forward?”

“Look, she is very pretty…” Marinette, Marjorie and Leticia look at her beauty. Crespo opens his eyes wider; “You’re right, she’s gorgeous…”

Uriel looks at her; “Something about her looks familiar…”

The woman has long black hair, brown skin and yellow eyes. Her skin is smooth, silky hair and red lips. She is wearing a traditional attire called ‘La Galereña.’ This attire consists of a blanket skirt called zagalejo over which another red flannel skirt was placed, without embroidery, but adorned with green triangles at the waist and along the hem. In the top part a white embroidered short-sleeved blouse, with ball shawl and brightly colored necklaces is placed on the blouse.

She has a brown violin with golden strings and a golden colored bow that looks brand new.

The presenter gets on stage; “UN APLAUSO PARA LA BELLA CANTANTE; FELICITAS!” (A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR THE BEAUTIFUL SINGER; FELICITAS)

(CLAP CLAP CLAP)

The crowd applauds Felicitas. Felicitas waves at them and notices Uriel. She winks at him directly. The other girls notice that and get jealous. Uriel only looks at her thinking:

“This mana…why is it so similar…to mine…”

“Muy bien gente…les voy a tocar una canción tradicional…ahora veamos…ahh…ya se, de mi querido Veracruz!” (Alright people, I will play a tradicional song…let’s see here…oh I know, from my precious Veracruz!)

“She’s singing a classical song of Veracruz named “La Bruja” (The Witch), it’s one of my favorites…” Leticia looks at Felicitas. “Really, you know, it’s one of my favorites as well…” Uriel replies, making Leticia blush. Marjorie notices them and immediately grabs Uriel’s other arm:

“Uriel, I don’t want to get lost so I will cling to you…”

“S-S-Sure…” Uriel gets nervous.-BBBAADDUUMMMPPP- Uriel immediately notices something in the south part. Uriel turns and sees two giant sombras with the shape of Winged Jaguars heading their way; “This is bad…I need to…”

“Stay where you are…I will handle this…” Uriel hears someone talking to him. He turns around and sees Felicitas playing the violin. She opens one eye and looks straight at him; “Someone just talked to me…Was it her?”

“Oh no…more monsters…” Uriel notices Leticia also looking at the Sombras. Leticia grabs his arm tighter; “Leticia…you can see them as well?”

At that moment, Leticia continues to sing and closes her eyes. Uriel hears Felicitas chant:

Uriel notices Felicitas increasing colorful musical waves around the Zocalo forming a small dome. -RRRAAWWW- The Sombras charge straight at the crowd.

Uriel tries to move, feeling anxious; “Is she crazy? If I don’t do something…people will…”

Felicitas moves the bow with force three times to the violin without losing the rhythm of the song.

In a blink of an eye, the two Sombras disappear as their bodies have three different cuts. Uriel opens his eyes wider as he looks at Felicitas with shock:

“She defeated them without attacking them directly? This can’t be…and she used Mariachi art…”

Felicitas finishes her song. - CLAP CLAP CLAP- People cheer for her and give a round of applause. Felicitas waves with a smile as she leaves the stage. Uriel begins to move forward. Marjorie notices:

“Uriel, where are you going?”

“I need to go to the restroom, please take care of Leticia.”

Uriel with great speed passes the crowd and reaches the back part of the stage. He desperately looks for the woman who just played.

“Where is she?”

“Looking for someone, muchacho?” Uriel hears someone behind him, he immediately turns and sees the woman called Felicitas. Felicitas smiles at him, she walks closely, Uriel takes a step back.

“Fufufu, did you see a ghost muchacho? Or should I say Charro Negro?”

Uriel opens his eyes wider; “Wait, how do you know who I am?”

Felicitas turns around and walks away; “We’ll talk another time…bye-bye” Uriel tries to follow her but a crowd surrounds her. Uriel goes after her, however, someone pulls his arm. Uriel turns around and sees Leticia.

“Leticia, what are you doing here?”

“Well…you’re my partner and the teachers told us to always stick together…”

Uriel comes back to his senses, takes a deep breath and turns around to look at Leticia; “Sorry, let’s go with the others.

Uriel and Leticia headed to the bus. They were the last group to arrive with Alejandro waving at them. By the way, Kasumi stayed on the bus due to her sickness and Johanna decided to keep her company. The students head to the hotel where they would be staying…

At the same time…Near the Pyramids…

On a small town located near the tourists site of the Aztec Pyramids…a small boy just stole some food from a restaurant…

“LADRON…LADRON…NO HUYAS!” (THIEF…THIEF…DON’T RUN AWAY!)

Two men chase after a boy who has a bag of bread. The boy looks like he comes from poverty because he has his clothes all torn up.

“Ha…ha…I won’t make it…Quetzi…help…” The boy slows down, soon a serpent comes out of his clothes. The serpent, who has rainbow colors, heads towards the men chasing after the boy.

The serpent spreads its body as a rope. The men pass through the serpent without them noticing and stumble.

(PPUUMMM)

“Qué fue eso, una cuerda?” (What was that, a rope?) The men look confused at their feet. The boy uses the opportunity to escape. After a few minutes, the boy rested a little as he got tired of running.

The serpent catches up to him; “Quetzi…thank you…”

“SSS….it is my pleasure…but Adihe…you must get this to your sister…”

“I know, I just needed to rest and I was waiting for you…” Adihe stands up and grabs Quetzi. He walks down the small jungle; “Hey, Quetzi…how long are we going to live like this? I hate to steal food…”

“SSS…stay strong Adihe…your mother wants you to live…”

Adihe stops, tears begin to come out as he remembers his mother.

“Don’t worry, I’m a man, I shouldn’t cry…” Adihe continues to walk. Behind them, a silhouette appears, the silhouette is El Muerto with his mask completely white:
