Two weeks before the Invasion of Rio Grande...Another Invasion occurred, but this invasion was different...they appeared without a sound…

Located near the downtown of Sun City, between the tallest buildings...A little restaurant is catching fire...The flames destroy the place where Yggdrasil’s base once held….
Outside the restaurant...Three figures stand, the mist covers the place making it hard to see….
“Aww, that was too easy...I can’t believe these were members of the famous Yggdrasil…” A hooded figure walks casually, she has the voice of a young girl as she puts her hands on her head.
“It was necessary, these guys needed to be stopped from being terrorists…” A tall man with a large muscular body wearing a hood walks alongside her.
Both of them head towards another man with average body and height. He is communicating with someone through a cell phone:
“Yes boss, it was something easy, we have eliminated all of the members including one pedestrian who tried to help them…”
The three figures begin to walk away, the mist begins to clear as it shows all the members of Yggdrasil on the floor, they are covered in blood. Rain begins to fall as the man says:
“Mission Accomplished…”

This is finished as much as a multi book vision can be finished. At 750,000 words give or take and very little readership I can only blame myself. I have learnt a lot, possibly forgotten a lot as well! I will probably return to the Chapters at some point - a touch up here and a touch up there. The second book though will probably remain in my head for a very long time, so yes "cliffs" although I hope the characters and their motivations are developed enough that you can have a good guess at the content of Book Two and tell me so I can confirm or deny! This isn't a LITRPG where classes are developed, great foes are defeated by a hero of immense power. This is a story based within (I hope) a very real and consistent culture, that leaves breadcrumbs for the reader to work out what the heck is happening and why. This is a slow burn story as the MC is stumbling around discovering her new place and role. Author's Note (Apr 2021): I dropped the Fantasy Genre for the Mystery Genre, because while the setting mentions magic, is it about past glories and trying to return to them. Whereas the MC from Chapter One doesn't understand her predicament and the range of mysteries she must solve to survive. If I have this wrong PM me and I will change this back.

The Spark
Michael Locke was a normal student, who went through his normal day in a normal fashion, until the day became... unnatural. Shot into the country of Aldemar and thrust into a new world alongside his many classmates, he agrees to work for the king in exchange for shelter and to learn magic. Fate however, is indifferent to his wishes, as he quickly realizes that he may be a hero, but his purpose in this world is quite opposite. Suddenly surrounded on every side, Michael must work to survive, and if anyone finds his secret... He's as good as dead. The Spark is meant to be a murder mystery style isekai, focused on the existence of basically an anti-hero, with every one of the large amount of heroes attempting to discover who the traitor is. This isn't made to be a lovey dovey easy going isekai with an OP mc, it's made to stir around an emotional story, with many dark tones. Still, the goal is to stay fairly light hearted as well, and the perspective will pass around to several characters throughout the story.
