Raegan looked up at his grandfather’s face which was strict and had a serious look than usual even during the ceremony he didn’t look this serious, so he wondered what grave matter was at hand for his grandfather to be acting like this.
“Raegan do you have any idea what your special eye ability is?” Daemon suddenly broke the silence.
Raegan didn’t seem surprised by this question but he knew this wasn’t the reason why Daemon was serious he was just merely curious.
“Yes Grandfather, but it takes a toll on my body I don’t want to use unless that person is weaker than myself or I’m in grave danger and have no other means” Raegan stated honestly without blinking.
“Mn. Knowing your own limits is good so why don’t you show me?” Daemon looked straight at him.
“I can’t fully control myself once I use it so I don’t want to show this unsightly sight to you and father right now but I will show you during the tournament five years from now that I can promise you” Raegan didn’t want to exhaust himself and pass out just yet.
“He is right father plus you’ll be pleasantly surprised so treat it as something to look forward to in the upcoming tournament” Raehor knew clearly that sort of power and effect it would have on Raegan’s small body.
“Grandpa why don’t you see my special ability instead” Raegar didn’t want to be outdone.
“What special ability? We have already seen yours ever since you were born just how do you think you could learn things just from seeing it once? Did you think you were some unparalleled genius who’s never been seen before? Let me tell you the truth here young Raegar your great grandfather had that same ability as yours in fact everything about you is just like my father which scares me a little to be honest” Daemon didn’t hold back at all.
‘This must be why he torments me more than Raegan this explains it all! Goddamn you great grandfather how could you abuse your son to such a degree that he would torment someone who is just like you’ Raegar finally understood why he got beatings for no reason every time he would run into this grandfather of his.
Daemon suddenly stood up which made Raegar flinch but he guessed wrong this time he wasn’t the target he was merely standing up and walking towards a book on his desk, he picked it up and returned to his seat.
“This book holds the history of our clan, I won’t ask you to read through this book and countless others before you know the history and the truth so I will explain it to you to the best ability I can so listen up because I won’t repeat myself” Daemon gave a quick glare to Raegar indicating that message was for him.
Raegan was always curious about this family who was so powerful yet were in this bloody forest, it was truly strange for a mighty clan to reside here as If they were hiding from someone. So he paid closer attention and looked at Daemon with serious eyes making sure to not mishear or miss anything that was about to be said.
“As you already know we are the descendants of the Dragon God Redding, he ruled the element of thunder and his secondary element was fire he reached the pinnacle of strength along with Four other beings who were regarded as divine beasts, they were Sirius the Leviathan, Azrael the offspring of both Redding and a superior magical beast giving birth to the divine beast thunderbird. Aogan the proud phoenix, lastly Kaiser the Titan. Each of these Divine beasts acknowledged the Dragon God Redding as the mightiest he was after all the ruler of Dragons as well.

Azrael being the son of Redding was never acknowledged as such by the Dragons and they looked down on him for being a bird but he was a very powerful bird which earned the title Divine thunderbird to stand shoulder to shoulder with the other Divine beasts such as a Phoenix and a Titan as well as a Leviathan.
As time went on these divine beasts had descendants with humans who were growing ever more curious of the world as well as their vast reproduction system, their intelligence and the ability to establish empires. They observed these humans before changing into human form so that their chose human partner could have a descendant with their bloodline and strength if they worked hard enough.
Our Ancestor seeing this was a very proud Dragon God and he viewed humans even less than ants, but he was still intrigued and decided to roam the lands in which the Divine beasts descendants empires that they created, he found the way they lived amusing and interested and soon enough he gained companion a woman with the same red hair as his.
This is the mother of our Clan Caer she bore the first descendant of Redding who turned out to be a son with the same red hair his parents carried his name was Magnus Redding the first Clan leader. Redding enjoyed the time he had with his wife and his son who was so gifted humans called him a monster, Redding didn’t mind such curses especially from humans he now viewed differently since he met Caer”
Daemon stopped there before looking around to see if the boys were still paying attention, he then continued with the history lesson.
“Magnus quickly because so powerful that it was impossible for humans to consider him as a human, by the age of 20 he entered the Emperor realm, this caught the attention of the large empires of the other continent, Aogan, Sirius, Azrael and Kaiser. They started sending their experts to invite Magnus to join them if he refused they would kill him they believed they could lose nothing.
Magnus of course declined all of them and killed those who attacked with his thunder element which sparked a rumour that he was a descendant of Azrael, this rumour quickly reached the ears of the imperial family of Azrael and its emperor. Azrael family being proud to the bone did not acknowledge this rumour and said that he was merely a bastard that did not deserve the Azrael name and no more so if he was targeted they would not intervene.
Magnus at this point had no idea all the assumptions and rumours that were flying around, he merely trained with his father and stayed beside his mother who was now almost at the end of her life. He knew that his father considered these human matters beneath him so as long as Magnus life wasn’t in danger he would not give him assistance with these Divine beasts descendants.
The following few years were nothing but chaotic for Magnus who was hunted down left and right, he was not in any mortal danger and Redding always watched him from afar with his divine sense. He was truly feeling enraged seeing his beloved son being hunted down left and right like he was someone beast but he had to stay with his wife in her final days, he promised her many times he would protect her beloved child.

That following year Magnus returned for his mother’s funeral, seeing his father standing there with black coat looking dejected and the sorrow evident in his eyes he was stricken with sorrow and grief in his heart. He knew if one did not cultivate their life span would not be extended and human life was short.
Magnus enemies knew of his mother’s death so they decided to set up an ambush for him there with countless king realm experts there to fight him who was now 2nd realm Emperor, this was truly hard and his life could not be guaranteed anymore.
Redding who stayed out of this the entire time seeing their despicable acts and methods to lure his son into this trap to pry on his emotions like this was enraged beyond belief, he decided enough was enough these humans and their greed despite some being offspring’s of divine beasts they are still human after all”
RUMBLE
“The Entire sky began to be covered by dark clouds, blocking even the sun out of its light. Suddenly it was as if night had suddenly descended on the world, however when the experts looked up they saw Redding and his red hair fluttering in the wind suddenly appear beside his son Magnus who had similar look to Redding. The experts then looked up at the sky and they saw thunder dancing in the clouds and then suddenly explosions could be heard
The sounds of thunder exploding could be heard as some descended at lightning speed, while the roars of thunder could be heard in the sky as they danced about, suddenly Redding looked down at the experts below him”
RUMBLE RUMBLE!!
“Who are you to hunt my son as if he were a beast and this was simply nothing more than a game for you? You are king realm experts yet you choose to do such despicable you are truly trash among trash. Which Divine beasts are you descendants of? Is it Azrael? Or perhaps Aogan? That doesn’t even matter let me make things clear for all of you!
This here is my son, Magnus Redding, I am the dragon god Redding, let alone your entire empires, even your ancestors would bow before me yet you wish to spill the blood OF MY SON?!! Do you realise now that spilling his blood is the same as spilling my blood? Let this be a warning to not only you but to those divine beasts ancestors who are hiding away, when you hear the name Redding and that person is my descendant you better bow before them or believe me I will annihilate not only you but those so called Ancestors standing behind your backs!
Enough chit chat you can only blame yourselves and your rotten luck for ever running into me and my descendant”
Redding raised his hand up into the sky and suddenly uttered “Be gone with the thunder”
RUMBLE RUMBLE BOOM!
Thunder suddenly began falling from the heavens as if to punish these men who were now all on their knees trembling with fear and utter panic on their face, they knew who Redding was they read it in their Clan history merely they never though he would have a human descendant and that descendant was the one they were chasing all this time”
Raegan was seeing these images as Daemon described them it was truly magical they called these records historia, they were history records that had the effect to picture the scenes and what was being told as if you were watching a video.
“So Raegan and Raegar what do you think was the response from the Divine beasts?” Daemon asked curiously
“Of course they had to give face to Redding as he is the most powerful” Raegan replied immediately.
“Close enough they truly did want to give him face except for one who was extremely jealous, that was Azrael, he was never acknowledged by Redding as his son but a human was. In his jealously he tasked with his descendants to always be hostile towards us, but the divine beasts came to the conclusion that they would never interfere with their human descendants affairs as long as Redding doesn’t interfere. And so our ancestor agreed but not before he had more descendants along with Magnus descendants, before the treaty was put in place. The divine beasts along with our ancestor disappeared from these lands.
However that was not the end, as we grew more powerful with each generation adding to our strength we established an empire here which was called Dragon Empire. However after few thousand years our strength was growing closer to the other 4 Empires strength combined so they joined forces to exterminate our clan. We were heavily outnumbered and so we fled to this forests which conceals us and scares humans away, this continent was then called after another empire that rose to power after us the Rose family and so Rosengard came to be” Daemon finally finished explaining.
“Grandpa when can we reclaim our honour instead of hiding away here like cowards?” Raegar was angry.
“Calm yourself child, now that we have you two especially with Raegan being inheritor of the thunder element it won’t be long before we reclaim what is rightfully ours” Daemon had a cold look in his eyes.
“Father it’s time we told them the news” Raehor finally spoke.
“Right, after the tournament I will be going into another closed door training and your father will inherit the Patriarch position from me” Daemon smiled at Raehor warmly.
“Congratulations father” Both Raegan and Raehor claimed with wide smiles.
“You two need to train hard for the next 5 years don’t let me and your grandfather down, we have high hopes for you two. The whole clan rests on your shoulders to wash of the humiliation we have suffered these past thousand years living here as barbarians” Raehor had a cold look in his eyes.
“We won’t disappoint you father I will personally lead our armies in the future with Raegar by my side to slaughter our enemies, those who plotted against us those despicable people” Raegan still had those memories of Magnus being hunted in his mind.
“Good now go on I need to speak with the Patriarch about few things” Raehor told his sons.
Raegan and Raegar both walked towards the door as they exited Raegan went straight to his favourite spot to meditate and work through those memories of Magnus and that battle especially the way the thunder was in the sky to gain a little enlightenment.
