The following day Raegan awoke from sleep having had some nightmare but the way he saw it, it was more like a vision. As if that memory belonged to someone else, now that he was reincarnated he wondered if that was his past life memories returning to him. He quickly dismissed such ideas and proceeded to his daily routine before anyone in his household awoke for breakfast, his mother hated when he was late for breakfast with the family.

He walked to the summit of mountain as he always did before sunrise to enjoy the view while he meditated allowing himself to strengthen as well as study his new found element he was so interested in. He began by circulating the qi throughout his body absorbing it into his blood cells but as this happened something new and interesting happened, as the qi fused with his blood cells small sparks of thunder could be as he took a closer look to observe it.

It was as if it was begging to be let out and run amok, he found this element of his truly astonishing it was as if it had a will of its own. He did not wish for this element to consume him so he cleared his mind and forced himself to calm down; he proceeded to meditate in such a manner until the sunrise.

He opened his eyes and let out a long breath releasing all the negative energy in his body, feeling relaxed he smiled and got up. Not even walked few paces but he found few kids who were doing the same meditating on top of the mountain, this was the first time had seen these kids other than hunting in the forest he did not interact with many of them but he had seen their faces before.

A young girl who was slightly shorter than himself, with graceful demeanour elegantly walked up to him smiling. He was stunned for a few seconds, that smile could bewitch any person or so he believed. She may be a little young right now and hasn’t fully developed but she would surely turn into an amazing beauty in the future, merely he never thought she would interact with him on her own. She tied her red hair in a ponytail with her yellow dragon robe hanging down a little too big for her small undeveloped body. She walked up to him and gave a slight bow before interacting with him.

“You must be young master, Raegan” her red crystal eyes looked at him in a charming way.

“ah, yes, who might you be?” He had seen her before but he was not familiar with her name.

“You can call me Kaia, I must congratulate you on awakening the thunder element, we’re all looking forward to the day you stand at the peak” Kaia innocent eyes blinked at him.

“Nice to meet you Kaia and thank you, this is the first time seeing so many people here. Is there a special reason for this?” Raegan was truly curious as the reason why his favourite spot suddenly become a hotspot.

Hearing this Kaia chuckled sweetly, she truly amused at how easy going this fellow was.

“Well you see after seeing your awakening and how powerful you twins are the other branch families want to establish close ties with you two, they are even asking their sons and daughters to form close friendship with you two, some even go as far as asking their daughters to rope you in” Kaia stated honestly.

Hearing this Raegan was a little shocked and amused at how cunning these people were. They were one family so there was no need to rope anyone in, this Clan was especially a close one anyways it’s not like the branch family were asked to relocated to different mountain in this forest.

“If that is so then what are you doing telling me your purpose, you are quite the familiar in roping people in I must say” he wanted to see what her reason for telling him was.

“Don’t get me wrong although I was asked to do so by my father I have no intention of being forced to marry someone whom I have not approved of no matter their status, rich or poor, strong or weak, dumb or smart. I decide who I marry and no one else has any say in this” she was a little enraged by this presumptuous fellow in front of her even if he was the future clan leader.

‘How ironic just the other day father was warning Raegar about marrying a woman like mom, and here is another one with a fiery temper just like her, although she is a little weak but she will soon catch up with such a will and determination it’s only matter of time’ Raegan was pondering such things in his head.

“Well good luck on that, I shall see myself off my mother doesn’t tolerate it when I am late for breakfast. May we meet again Kaia” Raegan proceeded to walk down the mountain while waving his hand as he departed.

Kaia stood there watching him leave she was a little interested in him the way he carried himself in such unrestrained way, he said everything the way it was she found such a thing attractive. but it was too soon to judge his character before she got to know him well enough.

Raegan found his mother just putting the food on the table as he walked in, he enjoyed this part of the day the most being with his family. He had everything he could wish in terms of family and so far he was pleased with the way this second life was turning out.

“You’ve come just in time, Raegan. Grab a seat. Raegar and your father should be back from morning spar” Aida lovingly looked at her son before she got back to setting up the table.

Just as she was finished placing everything on the table Raegar and Raehor walked through the door, Raegar looked like he was half dead. He knew his little brother was a genius when it came to learning techniques quickly once he saw them but he was getting use to using them in combat which was giving him valuable experience that he needed.

“Welcome back you two, Raegar you look half dead are you okay?” Raegan began to tease.

“Unlike you who wakes up before everyone to sneak away I have to carry your share of the beating as well” Raegar felt wronged by his elder brother for leaving him with this brute of a father.

“Don’t look so hurt, you know with that pretty face of yours you’ll be chased by many women, and with women trouble follows. That being said once the guys see the girls they had a crush on fawning over this pretty boy they would surely not let you go so you need to get used to getting some beating” Raegan stated seriously as if this was a crisis.

Raegar hearing this was a little shocked then he proceeded to walk towards the mirror to see his reflection.

“You do have a point, with these looks trouble will surely follow. However that does not mean I will tolerate people provoking me, I know I will make an example of the first one to provoke me so others don’t get the idea that they can provoke me” Raegar had excitement in his eyes as if he found a solution to the issue.

“As your elder brother no one will ever lay a hand on you while you are in my presence don’t worry, and well if they sneak attack you alone… hehehe… you’ll have to fend for yourself, you are not a weakling are you my dear brother?”

Raegan was very protective of his brother to the point he would sometimes be enraged when his father would hit Raegar in training.

“Brother don’t tease me, I hear those young masters in the midlands are unreasonable especially those nobles. I hear they would try to kill you for little things such as being with a beautiful woman or having something they are interested in or perhaps even just looking at them in the wrong way” Raegar had heard many stories from his elders and teachers who taught him various subjects about the midlands and their history.

“Relax I won’t tease you anymore, who do you think we are for them to ever lay a hand on anyone who’s name is Redding? If they so much as touch a single hair on your body I will eradicate their entire Clan for you, now sit down and eat” Raegan tried to give his brother reassurance after he took his joke a little seriously.

“That’s my boys remember to always protect each other no matter what, Raegan you being the elder this is your responsibility. Your father and I have news for the two of you as well, Raegar would you like a little brother or sister you can protect as well?” Aida looked at her younger son while smiling.

“Mom you mean you and dad?!” Raegar was a little shocked, the same expression was on Raegan’s face.

Raehor proudly puffed his chest out like he had a triumphant victory “Yes, your mother is pregnant, this is a wonderful news for the entire family!”

“I’ll have a younger brother or sister this is great, I can be a big brother like Raegan” Raegar was excited.

“I’ll have two younger siblings this is wonderful, good work dad” Raegan put a thumbs up for his dad who laughed even louder while Aida just smiled.

The rest of the meal carried on such a lively manner to celebrate such a special occasion until it was time for both Raegan and Raegar to follow their father in order to meet the Patriarch. They were also excited to tell him the news about the pregnancy.

Raegan however was more curious their grandfather wanted to meet them and not the rest of the kids who took the baptism, they each had an inheritance of their own, granted not as grand as these two but they still inherited the strength of the ancestor any other clan other than this and they would be regarded like a priceless treasure.

They walked into the large study where old books where on the shelf, there was a large table in the middle, with a dragons body carved onto the table. Sitting at the head of the Table was Daemon who was reading a book, there were 5 other chairs around him in the table but of course he sat at the head of the table with regards to his status as the Patriarch.

Once he saw his two grandkids coming in with his eldest son, he smiled and stood up to welcome them as he gave both of the boys a hug. He then proceeded to ask them to sit down before that started on the important discussion that was to follow.
