《My life as a human knight has begun》41

I only want to rescue these two, but now... there are about 20 girls including elves with me now. Since carrying them would be a hassle, I return back their PA (physical attribute), just enough for them to walk and running
"Lord Sven, should we go searching in another place as well? they might be in somewhere near" Clive... seems like she's already wearing her armour back.
"I would like to, but what if we encounter a group of goblin champion? I can't protect all of you alone"
Of course, its a lie, if Janjar wasn't around to lead... I can defeat them easily
"Then, how could you leave them in this hell? we must bring them back with us" Veronica suddenly raise her voice on me.
"Yes... but first, try to understand our circumstance-"
Before I finish talking, they already show theirs disbelieve face to me.
Can't be helped, I have to help them in order to protect my name... I mean my human name. We leave the main building and went to the north with haste but careful.
"Are you sure we won't be chased out by them? I can feel that they still awake but for some reason, they can't get up" another girl spoke out from her thought
"Believe me, they won't. I already cast a spell on them so they won't budge, let alone kill us"
Just about a few building in front of us, I can see five goblins walking upon us. Although I can see them... but from my spot, the images are kinda blurry from my eyes... so I can't tell which one of them is the vanguard. But one thing for sure... those greeny are the wanderers... or you can call it adventurer in human comprehend. I can feel their aura from here, it's large... maybe they are the elite force for Janjar.
"Clive, Veronica! you two guard them... I'll kill those goblins with fast!"
After taking my command, the two of them stand upon those captives, with awareness of the situation they're in. As expected of the high ranking from the guild, they quickly grasp the situation without asking.

I run toward those goblins, with my blade ready to thrust on any neck of them, after all, its the most vulnerable spot without protected. They seem to notice my movement as two of them holding a large shield as a barricade.
Heh, how long since the last time I kill the goblins. They're never changing, are they? their formation is still the same as the human's formation. And in a few seconds, their mage will launch an attack from a long distance, a spell of fireball maybe.
I smile wryly... it is a fireball.
Judging it size... it must be lower than 4th stage spell. One swing of a dark sword should be enough. I infuse my dark element into my sword and swing with a clean horizontal arc...a black wave came from my sword and easily eliminate those fireballs, causing a huge explosion
Phew, I can't dodge those fireballs or it will hit those captives from my behind. I glance a bit at them... they seem fine, but they are looking shocked. Anyway, let's focus on the enemy in front of me.
Eh... why are they lying on the ground? they already dead?
Oh, that's right. I already consume some of the physical attributes back there, so my prowess might have changed a bit from usual, And the black wave has become much bigger too, maybe that's the reason of those splitting bodies came from. The stronger my body is, the more variety of powerful spell I can use.
Using a fog of despair really helping me. The effect is permanent and I can gives it back whenever I like. But to counter it, it's quite easy... all you need is to have a steel heart and a composure mind to deal with it. The fog only last in three minutes so it's not really a powerful spell
"Hey, let's go"
As we running with each own pace, passing a few lost building... I have no caught any living presence among those building. Usually, I can confidently tell human's aura since they are weak, so that's should be no problem... but what's hitting me right now is none of the human's aura nor elves are in those building.

"How was it, Lord Sven?" Clive catch up my pace
"No good, I can't feel their presence, nor their aura"
"You can feel their aura?"
"Yup, I've been born to have this kind of talent...its like a second nature to me"
"Y-yes... I also can't hear them from the moment we left that main building" an elf also enters our conversation
"So... they all dead...?" I can tell that Veronica is quite sad by hearing that
"I'm not sure, but I can confirm you this... there's no presence in those building from the start we left. Even if we try to search for them, we lack the manpower to do it. I can't rely on you guys to do that, it's dangerous"
My reason seems has hit them with a strong impact, as their face reveal it all... they can't do anything about it. But I'm quite surprised... Janjar has taken all of his hordes from this place to go with him, leaving the silent abandon building without any guard. Maybe those five were his guard.
Just by running, we already out from his nest and rush through the forest. Even without Godin's transportation, I can manage it by myself... I was a hunter after all.
"We will head back to the guild, including you guys too. I will send you guys to halfway and after that, you guys will manage it by yourself " I directed at those elves whose eyes shown a dead look. Lucky for those who in the cage, but those who from the building... I can say, your luck really has abandoned you.
"What about you, Lord Sven. Where are you going?" Clive asking with a worried look
"I'm going back to the battlefield, you guys will do it fine as I will set you off in the human territory, so don't worry"
"I-i see"
I have to run with a common human's speed or I will look suspicious to them, and-
"I have to say, you're a strong and capable warrior. The title of the grand knight that has bestowed upon you was no fluke after all" Clive resume her talk after a moment of silent
"What makes you said that?"
"Heading to one of the twelve symbols' nests alone without an army requiring a lot of resolves and completely trust in your ability. If you think it deep, no matter how you look at it... is not an easy task. Even we, the gold ranked are find it hard to infiltrate this Janjar's nest. But for you, it seems so easy to get in and out with a leisure feeling, as expected from the one who slays the demon general, Sven of Versfalio"
"So you know me?"
"Everyone knows you. The news spread with unbelievable fast about your achievement in your battle. I in awe of your action, so as Veronica. We would like to meet you, but a sudden absolute order from a higher up has become our wall for us to meet you."
Based on their story, their guild master, Raven, seem rushed for some reason and I think he might pressure them to get even more attention than mine, and for that cause... slaughter the elder goblin... Janjar. Wow, who would think that the root of their problem was originally from me... now I feel like I have to take that responsibility.
"I'm not that great. In the first place... I can only manage to enter that nest thanks to the Trivith and the army buy me a time. So if you want to thank... thanks to them, not me"
After a long run and chatting, we manage to arrive in the human's forest before we know it. I leaving those captives in Clive's hand. Abruptly, the captives in their knee... crying with loud while hugging each other tightly. And that goes the same for the elves who have dead eyes on them, began to leak with tears.
I began to head over to the place called Svvalis. Right when those captives where none be seeing, I run with my normal speed, plus with my additional strength... it twice faster than my normal run.

Edge Cases (Book 1 Complete!)
Rare classes and powerful skills are helpful. Too bad the system doesn't seem built to handle them. What even are all these errors? Our team of outcasts and adventurers will have to rely on their trust - and the bane of all stories, healthy communication - just to survive, let alone understand what the system is doing. Because they're quickly realizing that it's doing something; to people, to monsters, and maybe even to the gods themselves. And their goal isn't just to survive; it's to make things better. It's a good thing they're not doing it alone. --- Edge Cases is an attempt to take the LitRPG genre and the overpowered MCs trope and write a story where numbers aren't everything. Sometimes it takes trust, support, and just a touch of being very, very clever. Expect a mix of action, slice-of-life, friendship, and ominous worldbuilding. Updates M-W-F at 6pm EST. Cover art by Alovck of Artstation, and typesetting by jessessey right here on RoyalRoad.

Harry Potter and the Seer's Ambition
After Voldemort came back at the end of the triwizard tournament, Harry tried his best to inform the wizarding world that he was back but faced with denial and ridicule, Harry could only fume in anger. Little did he know that Voldemort wasn’t the biggest threat he would have to face. Receiving power from unexpected sources and armed with Information he didn’t expect to have, Harry sets out on a mission to bring the dark lord and his followers down and uncover one of the world’s least known secrets. ============ This novel has been posted on Webnovel, Scribblehub, Fanfiction & RoyalRoad. This story was supposed to be a rewrite of my earlier book, Harry Potter and the Dark Phoenix but the plot ended up so different that I figured I’d just make a new book out of it. I might, at some point in the future, rewrite the earlier book with the earlier plot but that will have to wait for this one to finish. This is an AU so please keep that in mind. Constructive criticism is welcome, needless bashing is not.

The Tears of Kas̆dael
It was just supposed to be a game. A really, really great game, yes - but a game. Instead, Jasper got his heart ripped out by a brooding goddess and awoke to find himself in another world. No weapons, no skills. Naked. Trapped in a world full of ancient horrors, where gods and monsters still roam the earth, Jasper is forced to adapt quickly or die - and he's not ready to die. Good thing he's a mage. This is a high-fantasy novel with light LitRPG elements. It's not super-crunchy, but the system is an important part of the story. There is some light cursing and gore, but this is not a Grimdark novel. There will also be no harem. The current schedule is chapters on M-W-F of around 2000-2500 words, as well as occasional bonus chapters that provide background or insights into side characters. This is my first real attempt at writing a full novel, but the story is based on a world that I've been creating and re-creating since I was a child. I have an extensive "history" and religion, and even a semi-cohesive language system worked out, which will hopefully slowly shine through as the story progresses. I want to avoid having too many info-dumps, so I may from time to time post a bonus lore chapter that will explain some of the background for any who are interested.
