Chapter 2: Death and Destiny

As I have finally arrived at the location I have been aiming for, the bell sound rang. The All-Stars commence……

I looked around me in a paranoid way to make sure no one saw me, even though I was certain no one was following me, but my paranoia instincts kicked in. My thoughts became fill with “What if someone saw me?” “I should hide better” “What in the world did I get myself into” “Is this really worth it” “Is saving the island worth my life?”.

As I sat wondering and pondering on those questions that popped in my head, little did I know of what was happening on the battlefield.

“What? Don’t tell me you are already scared?” asked a man of age in his late twenties, in a menacing way. “We are just getting started, li’l boy”

“I am not a little boy” said the young boy that looks to be in his 16 years old. “Get away from me or I’ll used my wind elemental on you”

“Oh, now, now, we are just getting a little acquainted, you don’t have to shut us down so fast, isn’t that right guys?” said the man from before.

“Yeah, yeah, that’s right” said the guys behind him.

“I am serious” said the young boy.

“And we are serious too, either join our team, or we’ll hurt you so bad that you’ll be begging us to stop, we don’t have a wind elemental among us, so you would be perfect, lil boy”

“Get away from me, you creeps” yelled the boy as he activated his wind elemental magic, and created a wind tornado strong enough to lift the guy he was talking with and throw him a couple of feet away.

“If you don’t want more, I suggest you stay away from me, right now” warned the young boy.

The guys who by now have surrounded the young boy, all chuckles, because none of them were afraid of him. They were going to make him work for them and use him to their advantage.

As one of the guys that was silently behind the young boy, prepared to use fire elemental magic to catch the boy off guard and capture him, something took his attention behind him. As he turned behind him, to see what it was, he didn’t even have time to dodge or screamed, he was frozen. He was completely frozen from head to toe.

“Whoa, what in the world just happened to him?” asked in a worry tone one of the guys in the front of the young boy. “He just got frozen, but the weird part is, I didn’t see anyone behind him”

“Hahahahaha, you guys really are idiots” said the young boy with a wicked smile in his face that took away whatever innocence his face had a couple of seconds ago. “You are all going to die”

“What? What do you know about this? What happened to the guy? Just who are you?” asked one of the guys that surrounded the young boy in panic and agitated movements.

“My. Sis. Is. Going. To. Murder. You. Lot.” Said the young boy slowly pronouncing each word and each syllable with a wicked grin and evil in his eyes. “The name’s Darwin, remember the name, not that it matters anymore”

“You….You…..You are Darwin, that kid Darwin…..but I… I am so sorry…please don’t hurt me” yelled the man in front of

Darwin as he peed his pants and started to run for his life with tears in his eyes.

Then before the man could get fifteen paces away, he was also frozen completely in ice. As the other men that was surrounding Darwin start to run away with panic and tears of regret in their eyes as they realized they were messing with the wrong person, a beautiful lady with blonde long hair and a dress that makes her look like a princess but looked oddly weird since this is a battlefield not where you are supposed to see a princess, showed up out of nowhere as if she was invisible.

“That’s what you get for messing with Darla and Darwin, sweethearts, have good dreams” said the young girl that look like Darwin’s twin with a wicked smile and laughter almost as wicked as Darwin’s.

The remaining guys all turned to ice. The ice was blue in a crystalized form.

“Man, this was annoying, wish we would get anyone decent, you know” said Darwin as he approaches his sister. “But good job, sis, you are learning that light magic well”

“I told you my light elemental magic especially my brightness invisibility skill would be useful, perfect to catch and kill morons, don’t you think?” asked Darla.

“And that’s why we make the best sibling team” replied Darwin as his face regained his youthful innocence for a couple of seconds, then switches back to a wicked malice displaying darkness and evil as he says, “Let’s go kill the rest and make it in the top 5”

“Of course, dear brother” replied Darla with almost the same malice in her face.

In another battlefield:

“Please, let me go away, I give up, I seriously give up, I didn’t want to mess with you, please let me go, I beg of you” yelled a woman with tears in her eyes.

“I am sorry but I cannot give up, I am deeply sorry when I say this, but you all have to die, it is not my fault but your inevitable fate” replied a young man of age twenty years old, as if he was reading a scripture from a holy bible, with a sad but dutiful tone, he continued. “It is your destiny, I am sorry, but the moment you came across my path, only one thing awaited you, and that is death, blame yourself for your insolence and bad luck, blame God for your fate, and blame me as the taker of life”

Then as the old lady continued to run with speed that exceeds any normal person’s by using wind elemental magic to create wind tornadoes at the bottom of her feet so she could use them as propulsion to fly at really fast speed, she suddenly stopped moving and stay in mid-air. She was just stopped in mid-air, her eyes widen as if she could see death, she looks like she was trying to move but was unable to, as if death was holding her strong, as if she was stopped in complete animation.

After about what was three seconds but felt like an eternity, the black-clouded twenty-year-old man with a hood hiding his face, wearing all black as if to symbolizes death and darkness, made a 180 degree turn and went to the opposite direction that the old lady was going in.

The old lady’s body that was suspended in mid-air even now, starts to turned into dust slowly but surely, every inch of her body crumbled and turned to dust, leaving nothing but the clothes in suspended animation. Then, as if it was a swift wind acting as some-kind of premonition, the clothes the old lady was wearing got pushed by the wind, and fell to the ground, leaving no evidence but the clothes remaining. It was as if the old lady was never there.

Lear-Bane:

With my paranoia getting worse and worse, I decided to hide myself underneath this large hole that I found in the forest. The whole is big enough for an animal as large as a bear or a gigantic panda to enter. I knew that wasn’t a smart thing to do, I also knew the other participants could find me if they used their GPS, but I also know that no one according to my research would waste it on the very first day, since you can only use it once a day. Even though, I know there might be idiots that just don’t care and are looking for some easy lonely fries to kill, I still decided to take this risk.

As I use my electricity in my body to make my impulses get enhance and move even faster, I approach the black and fearsome whole fill with mud and soil, upon closer inspection, it looks similar to a cave only on the ground and have mud. I hope there isn’t some really dangerous animal in there. I took glance behind me, and then went into the whole.

Battlefield: In the building type A (The blue area that Lear-Bane was dropped from the plane along with the others from the same building)

“Hahahaha” laughed a group of three guys with laughter that show they are looking down at everyone on this particular battlefield. “Man, this is way too easy”

“Yeah, I know right, no one can defeat us, except for maybe that death guy, the D & D siblings (Darla & Darwin), and that life miss, besides that, that leaves just three. We are definitely going to be in the 20. After all, we just more or less annihilated everyone here, we should just finish up and go to another area”

“Yeah, well said, most people thought we were weak and that we were pretending to be strong, they never saw it coming” said the most muscular one of the three.

“And you were just grinning and laughing there like an idiot during the whole time at the building, and even in the plane. Because of you, people avoided were we were, now, we have to walk where they are to finish them off” said the tallest of the three.

“It’s not my fault for laughing during the whole time, Marcus, it was just I couldn’t control my blood-lust” said the shortest one. “And you aren’t one to talk, you look like a psychopath, Marcus”

“Well, that’s what the doctors at my mental institution said too, but guess what? I killed them. Now, let’s go”

“Let’s have some fun!!!” said the muscular one

As those particular three move to another direction, behind them could be seen nothing but corpses, blood, body parts and gore laying everywhere in the ground.

Those three just destroyed everyone they saw that was alive in the blue area, and they are moving further from the center of the blue, heading south (unknowingly heading to Lear-Bane’s location). Only the power of imagination could deduce what would have happened if Lear-Bane had remained with the same people that was in his area, he might have been killed by those three as well.

Yellow Zone:

“They were not kidding, this really is the bloodiest battle in the world, the All-Star. I can’t believe I am here, but I got to do this, for my family” thought Lyrtherndan’s miss. “I shall use my creation magic to heal myself if I am in danger, then use my light magic to make myself invisible, and I can kill my opponents with earth elemental magic. That’s the plan.”

Lyrtherndan’s miss continue to observe the battles taking place from her location, she had no reason to participate in any of the battles. She was going to save her strength, and kill the easy fries that are either weakened from the battles, or let their guards down. She was patient, as patient as a tiger, if she didn’t have to engage in a one-on-one prolonged fight, then there was no way she could lose. It was all moving according to her plan.

“Damn it!!! Where is she? I was planning on teaming up with her, damn, where did she go? My arm is freaking bleeding, I am starting to feel dizzy, damn it, and I thought I was getting along with her since we talked during the time in the building and air plane, but I was wrong, she doesn’t care at all, shit” said someone badly hurt and blood coming out of his mouth and from the wound in his left-arm.

“Hahaha, told you, no one was going to protect you kiddo, now say your freaking prayers and die an slow agonizing death” said a person with a slight mocking tone to his tone. “darkness elemental magic, make him suffer a fate worse than death”

The man with a purple sweater that makes him look unusual since they are all in a forest in humid temperature but he is still wearing a sweater (dark purple). The dark energy spiral out of the purple-sweater man’s two hands and go directly to the man with the wound in his left-arm, but instead of attacking the man directly, the dark spiral of dark energy spiral and then form a thin line similar to a thread and enters the large cut in the left-arm of the man.

Then the man scream, and continues to scream times and times over.

“Make it stop…..pleazzzz, make it stop, pleazz” repeated the man with the wound, as tears and snots came all over his face and as he wiggle in pain and turn around and around on the floor and pressing his left-arm with all his strength on the hard forest ground, yet the pain still did not cease.

“I can’t really understand what you are saying with all those tears and snots, you will have to do better than that” said the purple-sweater-man.

“Pleazzz stupp, pleaz” repeated the wounded man.

“Hahaha, is the pain so bad, you can’t even talk properly, I am not going to stop until you go mad with pain, until you beg for death, only then will I stop”

“Plaezz help, spombody help….heppllppp” cried out loud the wounded man, but no one came, everyone was either too busy with their own battles to pay attention to what was going on, or they just didn’t care.

6 minutes later:

“Juz kil me, juz kill me, pleaz kill” said the wounded man as if he was mad with pain with a crazed facial expression as if he has been to hell and just wanted it to end.

“Exactly, well said” said the purple-sweater-man. “DIE”

The purple-sweater-man, then turned around, and as he turned, the wounded man as dead. His body fell as if he was lifeless before his body even reach the ground, he was already dead.

“Pathetic, kids, these days, can’t even take a little pain, seriously, when All-Stars first started, it was worse, he only lasted 6 minutes, man, what a bummer, at least I got to see his beautiful facial expression, guess it was worth it, I wonder what my three friends in the blue section are doing, I guess it’s about time I go and meet them, then, we can start taking over this game….”

“OMG” said lyrtherndan’s miss in her hideout. “I was thinking about helping him, he seemed like a nice guy, but right when I was about to help him, my body froze with fear…..such dark energy….so much darkness and death, and to make it worse, he isn’t even the death elemental magi, he is just darkness”

“Can such a thing be, how can death and darkness be so similar yet different. Darkness controls shadows, mind, pain, anything dark, and death is just death, nothing more, nothing less” thought the little miss. “I need to hide myself completely, with my life magic I don’t need to eat, anytime I get hungry, I’ll just heal myself, then the hunger will go away and I’ll be fine for a while, so long as I don’t exert my life magic, I’ll be fine. I am not going outside with someone so dangerous lurking around the corner”

Blue Section:

“When is big bro going to come?” asked the muscular guy.

“Ah, you just can’t wait, now can you, we are just like one big happy family even though not related by blood, but anyway, we should be meeting him soon, he decided to sign up on behalf of another country in the west, that’s why we didn’t see him in the type A blue building. He wanted to see how the miss looks like, and play with her a little” said Marcus.

“Hey, I want to mess with her too” said Lordandy with a wicked smile.

“Stop smiling like that, you’ll scare the children away, and we need to kill them” responded Marcus as he looks at Lordandy. “But don’t worry, big bro Orcantz have a plan, he always does, and we will be enjoying ourselves with death and life on this championship, Orcantz said he learned some dark spells similar to death but different, it’s going to get real soon”

“I want to see life magic” said the muscular guy.

“You’ll get to see it soon enough, Orland, we’ll take our turns” responded Marcus.
