That Girl Who’s Always Alone At The Back

chapter iii.5 – Inside a Girl’s Mind

“Yes, I love you so much.” I said to Echo as I bit his lip.

“I love you more than anything.” Echo said, as he is trading his saliva for mine. The more he pulled my long hair, the more I liked it.

“Do it, Echo. Put it in.” I said as I can’t control myself any longer.

“*insert rooster sounds here*” Echo said.

“What?”

And that’s when I realized that it was just a dream. In a painful way. How come? I fell on my bed, with my phone hitting on my face. I turned my alarm off. Now that explains the rooster sound.

How come I always think of him?

Just leave me and my thoughts even just a second, Echo!!

But no.

All I could ever think about is his pale grey eyes looking at mine. As if he’s looking at something he has waited all of his life. Is it bad to like someone with that stupid reason? I only want him to look at me like that every day. Because I think I would not need anything anymore. His attention is all I’ll ever want. But ever since that Alistel transferred, he would look at her than me. But it was kinda a good thing because I can look at him more and draw him better that way. Still, I prefer the latter.

And here comes that boy.

His usual blank face, his messy hair and those lips of him… Oh how I wish I could bite them like I did in my dream. I so want to eat him up.

“Echo.” I said as I tugged the sleeve on his uniform. I took his other earphone and plugged it into my ear. “Clouded Sky?” I grinned. He’s still listening to the album that I sent. “I love the bass on this one. Like dandandan danttt dandan dantt.” I said, trying to mimic the sound of the bass.

I’m no vampire, but the sun’s heat is killing me. Today is so damn hot. Or is it just him? I am now squealing internally.

“You’re an audiophile, huh?” He said as he started walking again, knowing that I would follow him.

“Music is in my soul, I guess.” I smiled. “Hey.” I looked down on my shoes since I can’t look at him in the face.

“Hmmm?”

“Do you like Alistel?” I said as I imagined that I am talking to him via my shoes.

“As a friend, yeah.” He said to my shoes.

“Do you have someone that you like?”

“Yeah.”

“That’s nice.” And I think that someone is me.
