Time hounds,they are the ones who take care of rules and regulations of time.Those who break those regulations must suffer their wrath,they are dragged to the ends of the void by these time hounds,where they suffer for an eternity.This time they are traveling through universes in search of Cain,who was currently bidding farewell from the Burgundy Kingdom to continue his journey.Run was also with them and Leo was seen in a gloomy mood.

“Is it really ok,I mean going with you?Look at Leo it looks like she is not happy with it.”Run asked Cain looking at Leo’s gloomy face.

“It is Ok,you want to travel with us,right?And it is not your fault that,she is in a bad state of mind.”Cain answered.

“Yeah,it is because of you.”Leo said in a mumbling sound.

“Exactly,what happened between you two in this short time?”Run asked.

“Don’t ask it.”Lera said.Run looked at her with wondering eyes.

“She just don’t want to leave here.”Cain said.

“Hey,it’s not like I don’t wanna leave.It is just that…”Leo said.

“It is just that…?”Cain asked.

“I just wanted to meet him once.”Leo said.

“Meet whom?”Run asked.

“Sigurd.”Leo answered.

“Sigurd,Why did you wanted to meet him?”Run asked.

“Because,he is a hero.Your world is a really popular myth in where Leo is from.”Cain answered what Run asked. “And it kind of ends in a tragedy.”Cain said.

“Really…I would like to hear that story sometime.”Run said.

“You should better stay away from those stories,I don’t think you will be able to accept them.”Cain warned her.

“Ok,I understand.”Run said.

“Go to hell those damned stories.When you said we were going to Sigurd’s world,I thought I will get to meet Sigurd and maybe we will even fight the dragon Fafnir.Or at least I would have been able to spar with a hero,a real mythological hero.But no no such thing happened.”Leo said in an angry tone.

“Calm down,Leo.At least you fought against Luna,and you even defeated her.She was also a great hero on her time.”Cain said.

“I didn’t even heard of her name before I fought her.”Leo said in an arrogant voice.

“So what,just look at me.I was not even able to put a scratch on my foe,I was lucky that master was there if not I would have been dead by now.”Lera said.

“That happened because you were weak,Teach.”Leo said taunting her.

“Look Leo,you maybe different than her,stronger than her right now.But still,she taught you how to fight.And you should be grateful to her for that.”Cain said.

“Please Cain,just stop it.I know it is you,who is giving me these powers.I was just an ordinary human.I was not even supposed to be here.The only thing I ever wanted was to be with you.Just like any other girls who knew you.But why is it me,why is it only me you take care of?”Leo asked.

“It is your talent that you are so good at magic.It has a reason.But I am not giving you this abilities,not that I can’t do that.But in your case,you were simply born with it.You may have not realized it,but you are special.More special than anyone else here.You even had a 7 chapter side story all for yourself with I being just a side character.I may be the main character now,but you are the most important character after me.You are the key to this story.Because without you there is no point in continuing this.Without you there is no story at all.Without you there is no TearFire at all.”Cain said.

“I couldn’t follow what you said at the second part about me having side stories for myself and stuff.”Leo said.

“Just forget that that part.Only thing you need to know is you are special.”Cain said grabbing her shoulders and pulling her near him.

“Okay,I got it.”Leo said with a blushing face.

“It looks like they have settled down.”Lera said.

“Then we should go to our next world now.I can’t wait to see what other kind of universes exist out there.”Run said in an excited tone.

“Yes we will leave,But it looks like someone needs something from me.”Cain said letting Leo go.Leo looked forward to see a portal open and out of it came an incredible mana which made even Luna’s mana seem nothing in comparison.Lera and Run were freezing down their core.Mana coming out from that portal was making everything near that fly away.Leo and Lera were barely holding themselves up on their feet.Run began to fly away but Cain caught her and placed her down on the floor in front of him.Cain scarf was flying violently behind him due to the wind.But he himself wasn’t budging an inch.Suddenly the winds settle down and a dark huge paw of a wolf came out of the portal.And followed by that its head came out.It was barking as if it was angry.It slowly came out of the portal and stood in front of them.It had a huge body almost as big as a lion,It had claws which were shining like ivory and teeth were so sharp like they were blades made of titanium.It’s tail was raising up like flames.It looked at Cain and howled towards the sky.

“What is that thing?”asked Leo.

“Time hound.”Cain answered.

“What does that mean?It looks like a huge wolf.”Leo asked.

“It punishes Gods and mortal who get away from their path.They are the one who protects the time and punishes those who play with them for fun,or for their own benefits.”Cain answered.

“Why is it coming after us?Did we do something to the timeline?”Leo asked.

“Yeah,we did change the timeline,maybe far beyond repair.And it is not after us,it is after me.Just stay behind me…”Cain said.They withdrew backwards and Cain stepped forward to the dark wolf.Cain was just standing there and looking at that hound.It slowly dashed forward and jumped above Cain making him fall downwards.The hound looked at Cain who was now under it’s feet.Then all of a sudden it began to lick him over his face,like he was it’s master whom it haven’t seen in a long time.Cain was laughing and the hound wasn’t stopping licking him.Girls who were looking at this were surprised. “Okay now that’s enough.Stop it.”Cain said pushing the hound back.The hound did as he said and backed off and sat on the ground,with a disappointed face.Cain got himself up from the floor and petted on it’s head which made it happy.

“I am wondering it is Cain’s pet.”Run said.

“I don’t think master ever had one.”Lera said.

“Ok,Cain.Can you please tell me what is all this about?”Leo asked.

“Ok guys,meet her.She is the time hound,Messeris.Or as I call her,Eris.Looks like she scared you guys.”Cain said while petting her head.

“I thought it was after us because we changed the timeline.”Leo said.

“She just came to see me.Although we did changed the timeline.”Cain said.

“Can I touch it?”Leo asked getting near her.Eris got angry as Leo got near her.Leo got back wards.

“Don’t call her,it.She doesn’t like it.Even she is sometimes a human like you.”Cain said.

“Really?”Leo asked.

“Yes.”Cain replied.“Come on Eris,show them your human form.”Cain commanded Eris.She got up on her four feet and then the next second in front of them was a naked little girl with Dog ears and a tail.She had canines growing out of her teeth like a vampire.Leo was surprised to see that.

“She is a …child.”Leo asked.Hearing this made Eris make an angry bark at Leo.

“I am trillions of years older than you,kid.”Eris said in a quiet but arrogant voice.

“I am sorry.”Leo said bowing down. “But still,You are so cute.”Leo said as she approached near her with a hug but Eris jumped up to Cain’s shoulders dodging Leo.Lera and Run were standing there and discussing something.

“It looks like she has something against you.”Said Cain grabbing Eris’ legs so that she won’t fell down.

“It is not that I have something against her.She just smells like…”She tried to speak but Cain quiets her. “Why are you stopping me,master?I just wanted to say she smells like…”Eris said.

“Shh…spoiler alert.”Cain said making Eris shut up.

“What spoiler are you taking about?”Leo asked.

“It’s nothing.You will know it when the time comes.”Cain replied.

“That again.”Leo said making a gloomy face. “Why does the world hide so many things from me?”She asked to herself.

“Attack.”Lera’s voice came from behind.Cain turned behind to Lera,Run tackled down Eris and began grabbing her ears.

“So soft.It feels really good.So soft and so smooth.”Run said while grabbing the ears of still naked,Eris and rubbing their cheeks together.Lera joined her at no time.She grabbed Eris’ tail.

“Oh the tail is smooth too.”Lera said taking part in the fun.Eris was now struggling to get out of the grip of two girls.Leo was just looking at them.

“Guys…”Leo called Lera and Run.They looked at Leo for a moment and went back to what they were doing.

“Leo,you should join in too.You can’t pet a cute dog girl like this everyday.”Lera suggested Leo.

“So this is why,beast man and other species like this have their own planets in the lost world.”Leo said with a fist on her head.

“Let me go,you perverts.”Eris was screaming.

“No,They have their own planets because,their hair and fur fell out often and it is hard to clean them.”Cain said to Leo who was looking towards Eris.

“Is that so?”Leo asked and Cain nodded on yes.

“Oh no.My strength…my strength is leaving my body,and my brain…it is going blank.I can’t control myself anymore.”Eris screamed while trying to break out of Lera’s and Run’s grips.

“You guys should at least let her wear something.”Cain said to girls.Lera and run stopped what they were doing and let their grips loose.Eris jumped out of there and hugged Cain.

“Master…They…they violated me,they defiled me.I was supposed to be only yours.”Eris said weeping in his arms.

“Its okay.Now just make yourself something to wear.”Cain said.

“Hmm.”Eris said wiping her tears.She clicked her fingers and a gown appeared on her body.She did it again and again until she got something she really liked. “Is this looking good,master?”Eris asked and Cain nodded on yes.

“So now can you tell us,why you came after us?”Leo asked in a gentle tone.

“So you can be nice sometimes.”Eris said to Leo. “Learn something from her.”She said in a complaining tone to Lera and Run who seemed ashamed of their deeds.

“It looks like she was just bored all alone and had no one to play with her.”Cain said.

“You know it,master.I was all alone in the void.I was just watching dead souls passing through the gate all the time.It wouldn’t have happened if my good for nothing mistress didn’t leave me alone.”Eris said

“I am impressed that you came all this distance to meet just me.”Cain said petting her head.

“She is really impressive.And by the way how much powerful is she?”Leo asked.

“Powerful enough to rip through all those wretched emperors.”Eris answered. “So master can I be with you for sometime,Please.”Eris asked Cain.

“Sure you can.But don’t tell anyone about who you really are.Can you promise me that?”Cain asked.

“Yes,I promise.”Eris said happily jumping up on her feet.

“Then,it is time about time that we depart from here.”Run said.Eris hearing that gave a foul look to her. “What..?”She asked.

“Don’t touch me,again.”She said in an angry tone looking at Lera and Run.Making them flinch a little.

“Ok then,I you would ,Eris”Said Cain.She nodded her head and extended her hands.As she did that a portal opened in front of them.

“Whoa…That’s awesome.Did she do that?”Run asked.

“She is a time hound.Traveling between dimensions and realities are the least they can do.”Cain said.

“Why do I keep losing to someone smaller than me all the time?”Lera asked.

“Don’t worry Lera.You are still my favorite student after all.”Cain said as he stepped forward to the portal.

“By the way where are we going this time?”Leo asked.

“The world where the dreams come alive,as well as your darkest fears.”Cain said as he disappeared into that portal.

“This time I don’t have any hope in that world.”Leo said as she followed him to the portal.And followed by her Lera and Run walked into that portal.And at last Eris walked into that portal and the portal closed from behind leaving only dirt on the ground.
