Mekato wakes up, looking around in his office. Everything lays on the ground. He quickly dresses up and holsters his guns, Noticing how quiet it is.
"Hello? Anyone awake?" Mekato asked, looking around.
He saw Tumotu eating chips while watching TV, Shimona was cooking in the kitchen. But Fudo was nowhere to be seen.
"Where's Fudo?" Mekato asked.
Shimona looked around. "Probably sleeping." Shimona then replied, as she continued with cooking.
"Fine, guess I'll have to check it out- " Just as Mekato was walking back and talking at the same time, he bumps into Fudo, hitting his nose.
Fudo falls on the ground and held his nose.
"Ouch! Watch out, you hit my nose." Fudo said, as he was holding his nose.
"Ah, sorry. I just wanted to come to your room and wake you up." Mekato said, as suddenly his radio started beeping from the other side of the living room.
"Who is it?" Shimona asked.
"Probably the commander." Mekato replied, as he grabbed the radio.
"Commander?..." Mekato asked while holding the radio.
The radio was still static as it later on connected.
"Is this Squad B-16?" A man said through the radio.
"Yeah, commander-"
"Eh, not the commander, but A-17." The radio replied.
Mekato's eyes lightened up "Squad A-17?!" He said in shock.
That was Mekato's old squad, who he had been working with before starting his own.
"Yep, that's us! We are coming by for a mission, you wouldn't mind, right?" The radio replied.
"We'll to be honest-" "Got it! We'll be there soon!" Mekato got interrupted by the man on the radio.
"Wait no, that is not what I meant- !" Just as Mekato wanted to explain the radio went static.
Mekato let out a sigh, as Fudo walked to him.
"Squad A-17, eh?" Fudo said.
"Are they coming or not?" Fudo followed up, asking Mekato.
Mekato was looking down, as Fudo slammed his hand on his shoulder.
"Don't get bummed! It'll be fine to see your old squad again!" Fudo replied excited.
"Old squad? So you know the squad, Mekato?" Tumotu asked.
"Not only Mekato, but me too." Fudo said, proudly.
"What was it like, working with your old squadmates?" Tumotu asked.
"Not that great, at the time there was a war, but we made it because of our teamwork." Mekato explained.
"What kind of weapon did you guys use then?" Tumotu asked.
"Me and Fudo still use the same weapon, but the other two used a Sniper Rifle and a Dagger." Mekato said.

Later on the door rings, as Shimona walks to the door. She opens the door to see two people, a man with a bandana and the other with glasses.
"Yamato, Kimari, come in!" Shimona greeted them happily, as they both walked in.
"Yo." Yamato said, waving to the others in the living room.
"Hey, A-17. Good memories, eh?" Fudo said, happily.
"Yes it was, but we have no time to look at the past. We got a big problem." Kimari said.
"Explain." Mekato replied, as they all walked to a table.
"Looks like the Fallen Vex planted giant drill's all around the place, and they aren't that small either." Yamato explained, showing a picture of a giant drill, filled with guards.
"Well, what do you want to do about it?" Fudo asked.
"Destroy it of course, we got our hands to a Hydraulic Bomb." Kimari replied.
"Yeah, that would be enough to destroy the drill, but you said multiple." Mekato replied back.
"Yeah we know, but those are either too far or other squads are sabotaging them." Yamato replied.
"So, we're doing like some kind of stealth mission?" Shimona asked.
"I guess so, but, aren't we with six? Isn't that too much?" Tumotu asked.
"Good question, that is why Shimona, Fudo, you and me are going to guard the place. We will make sure no one necessary gets inside while Mekato and Kimari plant the bomb." Yamato explained.
"Sounds like a plan, when are we going?" Fudo asked.
"Today, when the sun sets down, then we will strike." Yamato replied. Mekato looks at his watch, it's still 8:00 in the morning, they'll have to wait for a while.
"Mekato, can we talk for a minute?" Yamato asks.
"Oh- Sure..." Mekato replies, as they both walk into the hallway.
"What is it that you want to talk about?" Mekato asked.
Yamato shows the bomb.
"It's about the bomb, it has a really short fuse… So if anything happens..." Yamato said, looking down.
"W- What? It's fine. Nothing bad is gonna happen, trust me." Mekato said, cheering him up.
"But what if-"
"I said it's fine, it's my responsibility to make sure everything goes better than perfect." Mekato interrupted Yamato.
Yamato lets out a sigh, then looks at Mekato. "No bad feeling about this, got it?" Mekato said, cheering him up once more. Yamato, who was still unsure about it, nods. "Good, let's go back." Mekato said, as they walked back to the rest…

At the border of Object: Drill.
Finally, back together Mekato thought, following the rest from behind as they ran into the border closest to the drill. With the combination of squad A-17 and B-16, nothing could go wrong, right? Mekato thought once again, as they stopped running and started scouting the place. The place was heavily armed, but it wasn't impossible.
"I can snipe the persons in the way from this distance, Tumotu, Fudo and Shimona stay here. While Kirami and Mekato go in." Yamato whispered, as he put a suppressor on his rifle.
"Ahww, what? I wanted to plant the bomb." Fudo whispered unhappy.
"Nope, not happening." Mekato whispered back.
"Just stop bragging and go." Tumotu interrupted them both, as Kimari and Mekato headed closer to the place.
"Kimari, this way." Mekato whispered, as they walked around the place, doding the guards.
Mekato grabs both his pistols, putting a suppressor on both of them.
"Just like old times, eh?" Mekato whispered to Kimari.
"Just like old time it is." Kimari whispered happily back.
They walk into the Main Building of the drill, while Yamato snipes out some of the guards in the way.
"Plant the bomb in here, it will cause a meltdown and the drill will be useless." Kimari explained.
"Got it." Mekato replies, as Mekato grabs his bomb and plants it.
He notices the fuse has 3 minutes. Mekato pulls out the safety, and pulls the trigger.
The bombs starts counting down.
"Let's go back qui- !?" Just as mekato turns back a table flies his way.
"Mekato!" Kimari shouts, as she notices Mekato barely dodged it.
They look at the group of guards at the gate. One of them is a muscled man, he looked like the guard officer, as he charged with a spiked bat at Mekato. The man swings his bat, but Mekato dodges it. Mekato then tackles the man, making him fall to the ground, the other guards charge too, as Mekato fires his pistols at them.
"If we don't get out of here fast, we're gonna get cooked." Kimari shouted, as she was dodging the attacks of other guards.
"Thanks for reminding me!" Mekato shouts back, as suddenly the officer grabs Mekato's leg, slamming him into the ground.
Mekato drops both his pistols as the officer grabs one, he aims at Mekato. Mekato grabs the pistol, pulling it away from his face. Mekato's grip loosened and his hand slipped. The man then was about to pull the trigger, until suddenly a knife hit his back. The man fell on Mekato, Mekato then noticed Kimari threw the knife.
"Let's go, no time to waste!" She shouted, as she defeated the last guards.
Mekato pulls the body away, as Kimari looked at her. Mekato's eyes widened up, as one of the guards had standed up aiming his rifle to Kimari. Mekato pushed Kimari away, but fell too. At that time Mekato grabbed a knife from Kimari's belt and threw it at the guards face with his right hand.
"Woah… That was a close one- !!" While Mekato was talking he noticed Kimari was blushing.
Mekato slowly looked down, noticing his left hand was on her chest.
"Oh- Ehh-"
"PERVERT!!"
Smack!

"What is taking them so long?" Yamato thought, as he looked around.
He was getting nervous but then he saw Mekato and Kimari run outside. But his eyes widened up as he saw a wounded officer with a knife on his back, who was carrying the bomb they dropped. Yamato laid his finger on his earpiece.
"Behind you guys!" He shouted.
Mekato looked behind him.
"Oh, god dang it!" He shouted as they both started running faster. But Kimari stopped.
"I… I'm too tired." Kimari mumbled.
Mekato suddenly grabbed Kimari, as he continued running.
"Y- You pervert!" Kimari shouted.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Mekato shouted.
As they were running a bullet flied next to them, hitting the bomb in the hands of the guard. The bomb explodes, the blast radius then flings Mekato and Kimari further away. Everything is white and Mekato only hears a beep in his ear. Moments pass by, as he slowly opens his eyes. He notices the rest is fine, even Kimari.
"Wait what? Why aren't you in a bed? Weren't you wounded too?" Mekato asked.
Kimari smirked "I can regenerate, remember?" Kimari said proudly.
"Oh yeah… Am I glad." Mekato said, letting out a sigh.
"...P- Pervert..." Kimari mumbled.
"T- That was to save your life!" Mekato quickly replied.
"Well, I didn't need your help, Hmpf!" Kimari replied, crossing her arms and looking the other way.
The others started to laugh, Mekato and Kimari ended up laughing too...

The Exiled Villainess Returns
(Please heed the warnings above before reading) Reborn into the beautiful but deadly world of Ethetia, she comes to a sudden awareness that she is now Livia Katrina Valentine, a character of a game of a reverse harem she once played on Earth called Aster Academy: The Feuding Houses. But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. Her memories of her past life have the grace to come only minutes before she is accused of poisoning the heroine, Amelia. But all is not helpless. Via last-minute intervention, Livia successfully manages to avoid having her head decapitated. Being exiled was a small price to pay for retaining a pulse. Plus, at least this way, Livia can finally start to live her life, to become more than just a cruel folly. Her exile should have been a new but unusual beginning to her story. But pitiless reality comes knocking. Ethetia had once only been a background setting in a game. A pretty and still picture that mostly went disregarded as the even prettier characters on the screen unloaded their dialogue, but now, it was Livia's world. As real and wonderous as planet Earth once had been, filled with small creatures with their own wills, ambitions, and needs. Such one creature decides that exile was not enough of a penalty. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. Burning with a deep rage against those who only wish to see her fall into her own grave, Livia makes a twisted promise to herself. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. So keen to discard her as the villain she has once been, the little creatures in their own ignorance brought forth something they could never dream to fathom. A beacon of darkness.

8 162Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.
