"Remember class. The System is an important part of the world that you will create."
"It enforces the rules and objectives of the world, forged from the very ties that bind it. The System always has three main goals that will never change. Progress, Stability, and Power."
"Each directive helps keep the world and the universe around it going. This helps us, by allowing the System to take care of most of the work of managing the world. Us God's only have to worry about the big stuff. Like Challenges and Invasions"
- Quote from Lecture 101 about the System
Bucket smashed his blade through a fleeing heretical guard with brutal force. The sword cleaving through the entire man like it was nothing. Almost immediately another man took the heretic's place, who then took's the heretics' place in death as well.
Bucket's sword came down again and again. His blade easily ripping through the uncultured swine who had dared sway from Lord Flappy's holy light. Blood spattered his armor, dyeing the metal a soft red crimson. His chainmail clicked and clattered as his boot's crushed the bodies underneath him.
Three more heretics came charging at him, each one wielding a bow. Cowards!
'Could you please not internally yell?' Basy asked as Bucket charged to meet the cowardly heretics, not hearing Basy over how FUCKING FURIOUS!!! He was over the fact that some measly pagan worshippers thought they could end him with some sharp wooden sticks.
Bucket ran headlong into the shots, most bounced off his armor like little toothpicks. But the heretics, instead of running away and fearing for their lives like most would seeing a screaming enraged holy zealot charging at them sword in hand. Started to get serious.
"Bec, use PowerShot on him, I'll use Entangling Arrow! Smith, use some Enraging Arrows to keep the bastard occupied!" The men at the back yelled at the two men in front, presumably Bec and Smith. Both men quickly readied up another batch of arrows. Their bow strings notched as they held their aim on Bucket.
Though it'd be hard to hit a screaming lunatic waving a sword at you.
The man at the back shot first. His arrow glowing a dark brown before firing, The men in front-firing a light blue arrow and a dark red arrow.
The first arrow landed at Bucket's feet, the attack smashed itself deep into the earth. Only a second later, dark brown earthen hands reached out of the ground and grabbed Bucket's legs. The arms holding the man in place as the two other arrows shot forward.
Bucket quickly raised his shield in front of the Red arrow, his blade stabbing at the arm's grabbing his feet. Bucket grunted as his sword only chipped at the arms. As he continued to strike, he felt his shoulder scream in pain.
The blue arrow had punched through his armor, ripping through the metal encasing Bucket and stabbing deep into his flesh. "Hah, can't believe they always think the red arrow is the PowerShot instead of the blue one, ey Smith?" Bec asked.
"You sure said it, both arrows are still arrows. Yet douse them in the right color and use a combination of the right skills. And you can guarantee a deadly hit. or at least an annoying one!" Both Smith and Bec laughed at Bucket's obvious but frankly justified stupidity. After all, who doesn't expect the glowing red object to hurt more than the blue one?
Bucket grunted as he ripped the arrow out of his shoulder and hurled it back at the archers. The arrow only lasted a few feet in the air before crashing down in the middle between the heretical archers and Bucket.

The archers started laughing at Bucket even harder than before.
"Yo, that bastard actually thought he could hit us with a good old throw!" Smith laughed as he pointed at Bucket.
"Well hell yeah, he thought that! Bastard probably knows how to 'burn the heretic' and 'murder the pagan's' more than he does basic common sense," Bec smiled as he too laughed at Bucket.
Bucket decided to ignore the laughing by smashing his sword straight into the earthen arm's still holding him from murdering the heretics. His blade sliced and cut through the earthen arms slowly.
Creating cracks in the arms. Just as Bucket sliced through one of the arms completely, another PowerShot smashed into him. This time square in the head, Bucket stumbled and fell, again, flat on his ass.
He wasn't able to react when another Entangling Arrow hit him in the stomach. Summoning two new stone arms to wrap around his mid-section. Bucket touched his head, having dropped his now useless shield.
He quickly touched his helmet, finding the arrow directly embedded into it. With a yank, Bucket pulled the arrow out with a grunt. The shot splintered at the point, leaving Bucket with only a broken arrow.
He hurled the useless item to the side. Before he started hacking straight into the arm's keeping him down. his blade stabbed and smashed into the stone limbs with a cold and brutal fury. His blade managing to crack and destroy both after a minute of intense beating.
Bucket quickly got up. Before he quickly rolled to the side. A barrage of arrows with PowerShot sticking the area where he had just been.
Bucket quickly grabbed his shield and charged at the group of heretics again. Releasing a Holy Roar, thankfully the skill worked. And a powerful faith-based vocal assault struck the archers with a blast. Wobbling their knee's and shaking their spirits.
Thankfully for them at least, they had all made their saves. With newfound fear/annoyance at Bucket, another barrage of PowerShots flew through the air with a quick whistle. The arrow's soaring through the air and striking Bucket's shield.
His shield held under the powerful barrage for several seconds. Thankfully surviving the attack, with only a few scratches to boot. That was all he needed, Bucket threw his shield straight at Bec with all his might. The item soaring through the air and smashing into his face.
Bucket ran quickly to Smith, hitting the heretic with a Smite Strike. His blade glowed yellow with holy energy. The weapon slicing straight through Smith like it was nothing.
The blade cut through the man's shoulder bone, carving him up all the way to the hip. His body fell down with a squelch, blood flowing freely and painting the ground underneath him in guts and blood. Bucket quickly grabbed the man's guts, much to the horror of Basy.
'The fuck are you doing, your a holy knight or some shit! Why do you need some blood and guts?' Basy asked, his question soon was answered when Bucket wrapped Smiths guts around Bec's neck. The entrails quickly tightening and strangling the man.
It was gruesome, though Bucket's efforts weren't interrupted. The man who had commanded Bec and Smith fired several PowerShots straight into Buckets back. Each arrow embedding deep within his armor, but non-piercing deep enough to draw blood.
Bucket's efforts to strangle Bec soon paid off. The man's efforts slowly started to dwindle as he lost the will and energy to fight. Bec's hands ripped and pulled at Bucket's armor, the man who had once laughed at him now doing anything he could to escape the fate that just a few minutes ago had seemed impossible.

His desperate hand's slowly lost their energy, he hadn't much will nor power left. He had secretly seen his wife screwing another man. One he was acquaintances with. He had wanted to kill both during the chaos. But if he had seen everything correctly when he and his friends had turned tail and ran.
Having managed to break free from the bastard commanding officer's skill through dumb luck alone. But it seemed he wouldn't get out of this alive, so he decided to do one final thing. His hands quickly went to his crotch, Bucket was quickly disgusted. Tightening the entrails yet again. Finally strangling the life out of Bec before he could rub one final one out.
That just left the guy behind him-.
Bucket was struck by a blast of force as he was sent tumbling down to the ground. Entrails and Bec's corpse still in hand. The body twisted and turned as both it and Bucket tumbled down the ground before stopping almost seventeen feet away from where they originally were. Bucket slowly got up, dragging the corpse up with him. Which was now bent at unnatural and uneven angles.
Bucket unwrapped the neck of the corpse from the entrails. Dropping the body on the ground. Bucket then turned to look at the man who had shot him.
The man had a bow in hand, already notching another shot at him. The arrow flew and Bucket dodged to the side, he didn't have time to comprehend anything else before the arrow disappeared and struck him from behind.
The man went tumbling again, something which both he and Basy had grown frustrated with.
As Bucket quickly picked himself back up, another arrow slammed into him, this time from the front. And this time, the arrow drew blood.
You have taken -17 damage! You have taken -28 damage! You have taken -7 damage! You have been inflicted with Bleeding!
Bucket's HP was quickly whittled down to half as arrow after arrow after arrow struck from left-right, above, and behind. Bucket was sent tumbling everywhere he could see.
The boss of Smith and Bec had shot him with powerful strength and undeniable fury. The man's arrows trailed through the air, leaving blue trail's in their wake before abruptly disappearing and hitting Bucket at a random angle.
Each strike sent Bucket tumbling, but Bucket continued to get back up after each hit. The arrows had now only started inflicting damage in the tens, from one damage all the way to ten. Which was something his HP regen could handle for the most part.
Arrow's slowly stopped striking till. After ten long minutes of near hurling, the arrows stopped coming. As Bucket slowly righted himself up, he quickly hunched forward and grabbed his knee's before hurling with all his might. Throwing up whatever remained in his bowls for a whole minute. Till all you see was a man covered in armor dry-retching.
Bucket slowly righted himself back up. His brow furrowed as he looked upon the boss, as he now called him.
Upon a closer inspection, the man held the basic equipment of any guard, holding a small short sword at his side which he now held as he slowly advanced towards Bucket.
That was about all he could say. I mean, Bucket was around twenty to thirty-feet-away give or take. This meant that the warrior's average perception was greatly reduced. Something which didn't help when identifying your target.
Bucket spotted his sword almost several feet away, and quickly ran forward, grabbing the blade and holding it up in a basic stance. Readying himself for the man. Before Bucket realized that the man would probably shoot him again after his skill recharged.
Bucket promptly charged at the man.
Billy looked at the city with annoyed eyes. He had set up the demon summoning around several minutes ago and yet it still hadn't happened. With how glitchy his interface was, Billy had the sudden thought that maybe his event had passed through a Chrono barrier.
He quickly looked at the cities past and found no evidence of a mass demon summoning. Relieved for all of five-second that his event was just last. Billy then bashed his head against the nearest wall. These things weren't supposed to be late.
Billy waited for several minutes before he decided to go back to his menu and recast the event. Then his event happened.
A massive wave of bloated and red imps with dangerously small wings was conjured above the city. The imp's lazily flapped for a few minutes before their wings gave out from carrying their bloated frame.
They fell headfirst into the city, smashing into and through both men and buildings in a very gory and demonic rain.
The imps stayed in their landing spot for several seconds, in which Billy got to take a closer look at them. He noted that they looked like a regular imp but if it was crossed with an obese bear. The demonic creature had small stubby arms and legs, making it impossible for it to move. Large green and black spots covered its frame. heaving and showing it was still breathing despite them just having been obese meteors.
Two small imp-like horns came out of its head and its butt. Signifying that it was truly a demon. The green and black spots quickly started to build up energy. Glowing brighter and brighter tile the large things were swelling in both volume and size.
With a colossal bamp, the imps exploded in a wave of magical energy and demonic fire and shrapnel. With everything around the colossal imps being torn into little sharp pieces and sent flying.
The explosions rocked the city, ripping through any and everyone within range. The blast ultimately ended after a minute, the energy and shrapnel having mostly settled by then.
That was when a second wave of the imps crashed down on the city. They ripped through the surviving buildings and rubble with a smash. The large beings having appeared before the last bits of rubble and dust had settled. Those that had survived the first wave couldn't even make it to any form of cover for the second blast of explosions.
Massive amounts of new magical power and firey shrapnel that was half-melted ripped through the air. Tearing through the few people who had survived and stuck their heads out. The explosions stopped after another minute.
Billy surveyed the aftermath. spotting several groups of survivors deep within the city and one directly outside. Who was staring at a piece of rubble with a bloody pool under it.
Bucket looked at where the boss of Bec and Smith had been. He had been charging at the man when the first explosions had hit. He had stumbled and had fallen flat on his face after the first blast, and before he could even get up. The second wave of explosions had appeared just right after.
Giving him no time to prepare.
He had gotten up after the second blast after a minute and had noticed the massive piece of rubble that had fallen on his enemy during the explosions.
Man, and they were just getting to the good part. Him brutally purging the man with no remorse.

A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.

The Choice of Twilight
Growing up has always been difficult. It's even worse when you have to do it all in one night. On the eve of his thirteenth birthday, Ty awakes to find himself in a dreamworld, one-so he is told-that exists to pit him against his greatest fears and insecurities. And to ready him for a final choice. Luckily, Ty is not without friends. He soon meets Gentry, a wooden puppet his grandfather made for him years ago, walking and talking, ready to help Ty learn what he needs to return home in one piece. But that won't be easy when a cruel and abnormally tall skeleton dressed in mockery of Santa Claus and his suit hates Ty's guts. San wants nothing more than to best Ty and do what none of his kind has ever done before: defeat a child that has made "the choice." But Ty will stop at nothing to fight back against everything San's got in order to face his fears and grow up. Because, if he doesn't, he will end up a kid forever. Or, worse...never wake up again. This story is perfect for you if you are a fan of Coraline and Kingdom Hearts, both of those stories greatly inspired this one. I have recently added the Isekai tag after being unsure if it counts or not. I've decided it fits the description of what it is but not the current trends in the genre. If you go in with Coraline in mind I think you will have a better idea of the kind of Isekai this is. And I've also added the Slice of Life tag, that is only for the first five or six chapters though, then Ty enters the dream world and it pretty quickly becoms a progression fantasy, a mix of more traditional fairy tale like trappings alongside more anime action and acquisition of slowly increasing powers. With all that out of the way, please enjoy! Updates every Tuesday and Thursday! What time of day? It's a mystery! (For now)
