《God isn't dead, He's just broke》Prologue: When God's Drunk

Billy nervously entered the office of Principal Sieva.

The woman was nine feet tall, had wavy black hair with piercing black eyes. And had several hands jutting out of her back. Each carrying a weapon from whip-blades to the standard AK-47.

But her most eye-catching feature was her dark blue skin. It was like the ocean, her skin tone shifting from light cyan to the cold darkness of the abyss.

Sieva's first world had been a Demon World with an Ocean theme. Rumors were that to celebrate her completion of the world, she had ripped out nearly all of the World's Soul and added it to her bathwater to bath in.

Resulting in her colorful skin tone.

Billy on the other hand was barely a blip on the radar appearance-wise. Though that was more because of his lack of fashion sense more than anything.

He had dark wavy hair with brown skin, three different horns rising out of his head, each one tipped with gold. Three eyes were placed on his face.

One on his forehead emitting an eerie glow while the other two stuck to the normal humanoid shape. Both a pale white.

Billy's clothes were two pieces of dark cloth. The first was a massive choker on his neck made of fine blood-soaked leather. Seven symmetrical silver orbs were attached to the left and right sides. And each had a crying face on it. Turing ten degree's to the left or right depending on which side it was on.

The choker connected to a massive blood-red robe. Accented with dozens of different shades of red and green. With several different primitive depictions of his homeworld's demons on it. Each cackling madly as they danced around a massive fire fueled by the bones of other creatures.

The Cloak ended at his ankles, revealing white albino skin all the way to his bare feet. Which were covered in mud.

Sieva looked unamused.

Billy's attire was the basic she had expected and the basic he had delivered, like come on man!

The red clashed with his skin tone, plus it was just too expected. Sure Billy came from a demon family but at the very least try to take your clothes in a new direction!

His white pearly legs were jarring to look at when you saw his face. Demon's had to wear many masks but the masks had to be consistent!

The chocker was just three tiers of an edge over satisfactory. It looked cool if you had the body and personality to make it work. But from where Sieva stood, Billy had none of that. He was just a kid trying to make a cool impression and failing miserably at it.

He was lucky the school he was going to didn't count fashion sense in its grading criteria or else Billy would've been kicked out the moment he tried to enter. He might still be kicked out if the chairmen at his school cared about looks.

Billy was also shaking and nervous like crazy. His body was shaking to the point that it was going supersonic. His sweat was drenching the clothes he wore on his back, making the already unbearable fashion sense even worse.

At least most fashion didn't try to murder your eye's along with your nose.

Sieva just sighed and gave Billy the look.

The look was what she called giving someone a glare that promised such pain. Anything clouding a person's mental facilities instantly went away.

She had learned this from a man of all people. Though he sure didn't act like it, Shosi was if anything. A person of contradictions. But his lessons had still helped out Sieva more than she ever would've thought.

She would buy him a drink when this was all through.

"Mr...?" She asked Billy.

"Barthalemouw. Mr.Barthalemouw," Billy said instantly.

He was finally speaking clearly thanks to Sieva's stare. Though his fear for his life was if anything, even more, justified.

"Thank you. Now Mr.Barthalemouw, you have perfect grades when it comes to your worldbuilding exercises. You've thought up dozens of different lore backgrounds for each. Every one more entertaining and creative than the last. I especially like the chicken one, haven't had a laugh like that in ages."

Billy gradually got more comfortable, slowly easing the tension from his choker as he sat down on the chair in front of him. Dear her she wanted to rip that thing off his neck and throw it in the nearest volcano. But that would just piss Pele off, Volcano god's really didn't like people throwing random shit in their homes.

"I assume, y-yo-you've looked at my choice of schools?" Billy asked. Sieva smiled and nodded, she was still very miffed at the collar around his neck. But she had to get through this. "Yes, I have. World Building High is a great school for any aspiring god. I personally went there and can vouge for the quality of the school. Though I doubt you need my word for knowing the quality of the school you're getting into."

Billy nodded. World Building High was every God's dream school. With the best teachers on how to make deities, races, ancient magic items, and the flow of magic in the world itself. Plus dozens of classes for more specific things like the culture of music or the fighting style of each race.

The school was famous for its top of the line alumni who had graduated. One of them being principal Sieva of course. Billy had worked so hard to get to this point, he had sacrificed dozens of friendships. Threw away any chance of getting laid. And had developed an unhealthy drinking habit.

But it was all worth it when it came to this.

"No, I don't need your word but I'm glad for it all the shame," Billy said to Sieva. The principal inwardly smiled as she noted that he had finally managed to say something without stuttering to her. Her Stare had worked, just like it always had.

"Well, I should also remind you of what you need to turn in to show your worthiness for such a school. First, all of your worlds. All of them, you have to turn in every single world you ever made or thought about making to me so I can send it over to the school. That mean's you have around two weeks to make sure every world of yours is in tip-top shape."

Billy nodded. Such a high amount seemed like rubbish to most, but the school needed to know that the Gods they took in had talented brains as well as talented hands. The two week's thing was also quite hard, for most it took around a day to completely repair a world. So for the hundreds of worlds, every God makes at the very least. That was well over a standard year of work.

Thank God Billy always gave each of his worlds his very best. Even his First World.

"Don't worry Ms.Sieva, every world I've created is ready and waiting. No mistakes you can see."

Sieva nodded, "Well if that's the case Billy. You're free to leave, take a cookie on your way out. Hori made them."

Billy nodded and took one on his way out. Sieva smiled, she looked at the paper she had been given of the students she had left. The students she had left... The students left... Students left... Fuck!

As Billy walked away from the Principals office, he could swear he heard something about "Those no good fucking pencil pushers scared I might murder my students! HRAAHH!!!" Followed by something being broken.

Billy entered his home and quickly made his way to his storage. The place where he kept all of his worlds.

He opened up the cabinet it took the shape as and quickly pulled out dozen's of worlds by the armful. Each one put into a nigh-indestructible glass ball. Each one showed him the stats of the world and each world's stats were absolutely perfect.

World Properties Name: Cairo Morality Neutral Lawful Magic 3 Tech 4 Fighting Power 5 Standard of Living

Medium Poor

Cairo was his latest world, his teacher had said to design a world with a decent magic flow and a tier higher in tech, and which could withstand a Tier 3 Invasion. Cairo had been the result, with one central species and numerous more sub ones. It was a lush paradise with hundreds of City-Fortresses which held the majority of the population.

Built by the ancient and benevolent deities that he had secretly created. Who had shielded his inhabitants until they could grow strong enough to fend for themselves.

Billy had gotten a 98/100 for his trouble due to his teacher deducting points for the extended period of time his deities handheld the main race.

But you couldn't win every battle, and a 98/100 was a very good score compared to what his classmate's got. That being 70's and low 80's.

As Billy cleaned out his storage, he held up his beautiful first world. Glowing like an emerald to his eyes, his first world was absolutely perfect. The world wasn't actually glowing though, Billy had switched his eyes to observe the aura the world had.

As he held the world, tears poured out of Billy's eyes. This was one of the only reminders his parents had left for him. Before they had ascended. As he held the world in his hands, a note flew out of it. An envelope with the signature of his parents.

Billy snatched it up like lightning. His hand's trembling as he read the note. All it said was hidden back. Billy's hands touched the back of the cabinet for several minutes till he found a secret switch. Flipping. He opened the back to find an emerald far shinier than his previous world. His true first world.

But why had they hidden it from him? Billy quickly switched off his Aura eyes and saw his first world's physical appearance.

Billy woke up in a pool of his own throw-up and dozens of bottles of alcohol. The sour liquid spilled around him, fusing with his puke to create a truly poisonous smell.

Billy slowly woke up and looked at his window, the sun was just beginning to rise over his small town. Billy then turned to look at his first world. It looked like shit.
